Hello Diary, As we slowly approach harvest, Milky Way F1 has started to show signs of being ready to cut soon. Looking under the microscope, the trichomes have started to milk, so another week and it will probably be ready. The flowers have covered the branches and fill in nicely, they are as hard as Titan but I am satisfied. The leaves are still of a healthy green color, here and there some leaves feel but that is normal. Still watering every three days. As of this week, I have stopped adding supplements, I only water with clean water that I lowered the pH of earlier. value. The conditions on the farm are still good (unchanged), the temperature is around 28 degrees while the humidity is around 45%. Here's what it looked like last week. 18/06/2023 - Day 50. Watering. I prepared the usual 7 liters of water, lowered the p.H. at 6.0 I watered all three plants evenly with the hundredth amount. 21/06/2023 - Day 53. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 24/06/2023 - Day 56. Photography for the end of the 8th week and after that I watered the plants. That's all for this week, see you soon.

I'm happy with the harvest but I'll do better next time. This has been a great experience and I can't wait for my next run. 191 grams and I turned most of it into bubble hash. The positive out of it all is I don't have to spend on meds for a little bit. For all my fellow growers that followed thank you for the positive energy and help. Nothing much to report. Its growing nicely. Tricombs are already showing...and loads of them! Tomorrow is watering day, going to up the feed a little but use fizzy water instead of plane. I only take leaves away that are blocking bud sites... only 2/3 per 7-8 days.

Boom Day 28 after flip. She’s showing off big time. Cleaned her up real good on day 21 before lights out and will defol a lil bit here and there. Feeding really hard cuz it’s hammer time, some stuff like calcium and Bloom Khaos is almost double what is recommended on the feeding chart. And giving strong teas in between with Flower Finisher (1-5-7) and CytoPlus (0-0-7.5) for that extra kick of K. Bti for the win! I’ve been brewing AquaBac (in a tea ball) for 24hrs in ph’d water before adding stuff for ‘instant tea’ …I’m seeing one or two fungus gnats flying around and maybe like 3-4 new lil fuckheads on the sticky traps compared to 10-15 before. Was gonna get some nematodes and/or spray the top soil/cover crop with neem oil but I don’t think I have to (for now). Lights are blasting at 95% and about 13” away and she smells so good. SUMMARY: The OG has bounced back from the pH issues now after giving all watering/irrigation at a pH of 6.5. I continued with the updated GWE mid bloom nutes for the OG and Sensi Garden peak bloom nutes for the Amnesia. I also continued with some light defoliation this week removing the odd lower leaf and some fan leaves covering bud sites that I couldn't tuck. DAY 78 -------- Thursday 19/11/2020 I fed the plants. GWE 2020 updated Mid-bloom nutes for the OG and Sensi Garden Peak Flower nutes for the Amnesia. Although I only mixed these nutes and pH'd to 6.4 on Monday I always check again before and the readings had changed - I don't think my pH pen is the best (yes I keep the tip moist). I didn't have time to pH again and tbh after spending 30mins doing this the other day it can get to fuck and stay as is. OG (in) = 5L pH 6.4 OG (out) = 1.05L (21%) pH 5.7 [0.7 drop] Amnesia (in) = 4L pH 6.2 Amnesia (out) = 1.4L (35%) pH 5.9 [0.3 drop] The plants look healthy still with no signs of issues and are both a great colour so I think they're doing just fine. The OG has bounced back from the pH issues now and is really blooming fast, much faster that the Amnesia which makes me sad as I will inevitably cut her down early...I think she has the potential to be a beast judging on bud development so far. The Amnesia on the other hand...I'm starting to become a little disenchanted with her due to the very slow progression of the buds - I was expecting bigger buds but I don't think the genetics are the best (freebies from Seedsman). GWE 2020 updated Mid-bloom nutes for the OG and Sensi Garden Peak Flower nutes for the Amnesia. OG (in) = 5L pH 6.4 OG (out) = 1.1L (22%) pH 6.0 [0.4 drop] Amnesia (in) = 4L pH 6.3 Amnesia (out) = 1.25L (31%) pH 6.1 [0.2 drop] The RH has been lower the last week or so and it seems to be due to the defoliation I've been doing every time I water/irrigate (removing a few obstructing/pointless leaves). I think because its such a small space the removal of the leaves has allowed for a constant 15-20% drop and so its right where I want it now at 40-50%. DAY 84 -------- Wednesday 25/11/2020 I watered the plants with pH'd tap water as my rainwater supply has dried up a little. OG (in) = 5.5L pH 6.3 OG (out) = 1.17L (23%) pH 5.4 [0.9 drop] Amnesia (in) = 4L pH 6.3 Amnesia (out) = 1.2L (30%) pH 5.4 [0.9 drop] No idea why there is a drop in pH of 0.9 for both when there has been a steady trend of it getting closer to the input value. But its expected to vary and 0.5 either side is standard I believe. The Amnesia is taking forever to fatten up, if it ever will now at this point. I know theyre only getting 12 hours of light but this is SLOW!

The girls coped with the induction very well, we are starting the flowering period 💪 The plants are healthy and strong, and the extra light clearly serves them 😍

(Day 36veg) - (Jan7) On this week I prepared my feed mix with 8L of distilled water & officially started my AutoPot system I lost one side of my top on pheno #1 So I decided to top my “to be cloned” branches & just go with toppings only for this Grow. Pheno #2 Performed a topping on each top layer. Expecting 8 new tops Pheno #3 sent away to another growbud

Everything is going well for the ladies so far. Really can't complain. Plenty of stretching for the durban kinda put me in a situation like this strain usually does to me lol. Looks like I'll be tieing her down around the tent supports again to keep her from kissing the lights. No,I think we're all done stretching and we should be able to kick back and watch the buds stack!

The harvest of this plant was very well. I harvested it the plant the second week of October the buds were very top-heavy, with minimal, fluffy buds almost the entire plant was useful. I was very happy with the harvest of this blue gelato. also, it is a very stony plant very very strong Indica.

So I've had the DIY CO2 generator (this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NWWKQHB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details) in the tent since weeks 2-3 of veg, but just today went to the dollar store to upgrade my 2L bottles to 96oz (2.84L) bottles and figured no better time to post it than now. Hopefully now I won't have to refill it every 3-4 days since it's been on full blast since flower started. It's controlled by a 12 volt solenoid that's on the same timing cycle as the lights for optimum photosynthesis. Tried the yeast/sugar jug at first but after some digging around found this to be the most efficient and consistent system (within budget) for the size of my tent. For the larger bottles I just took the same standard ratios recommended for the 2L's and blew them up by 2.5x (500g citric acid, 1500mL water; 500g baking soda, 500mL water).
