Flush week, straight water flush and I expect to chop and harvest this coming Sunday, maybe Saturday depending on trichomes and how dry the promix HP is. Overall I'm happy with this plants growth, she survived a heat stress issue and has developed lots of bud. While not huge buds, compared to my last grow of this strain, I'm still super pumped with this strain/plant. Updates will come after harvest and after drying for final weight total.

To be honest, I was very surprised by this girl :) I didn't expect her to grow so much, so far everything looks good :) to be honest, I don't even know how she grows so much, where there is minimal sun :).

It was a wonderful journey, I really had the honor of doing this girl many times, this time even close to the Monster Zkittlez with which they generated the Runtz who was also in the grow. Super modern family situation, I wanted to try to figure out which one I liked best, and I still haven't been able to. at least I'm still tasting Runtz's first flowers and it's heavenly but the freshly picked Gelato and the upcoming Zkittlez are scary just to see them. Super resin, it really looks fake, I also have some macro photos that will make you cry. The resin is everywhere the trichomes are even in the largest leaves the scent is of the garden of eden. wow. Show. Really nice. It was freshly cleaned I want to try to do the resin the first time and then I have freshly cleaned and hung the whole girl upside down under the crop data next week when I clean and can give the detail. Gorgeous. Before being collected, she did two music therapy days, one of which in the dark with frequencies for plants and together we listened: 1 - Paolo Conte - "Gelato" al Limon 2 - Raekwon - Ice Cream to stay on the "Geato" theme and then all the M83 discography to be collected with the very famous Outro of Interstellar really seems to pass to a better life listening to that stuff. Such a lovely plant. Very satisfying to grow. She smells very fruity with a little sour. Checked her trichomes under the microscope and I’m still seeing about 25% clear with some amber and the rest milky. She’s slowing down her metabolism now, not drinking as much. Putting out fewer new pistils. We’re in the home stretch, no idea if that is 2 weeks or 4, but based on the slowing of her metabolism. I’d say she’ll be done within 3 weeks. If you’re watching my video, that’s vintage 1988, Wild Wild West, by The Escape Club (a UK band). The song topped the US charts in November of 88. The band never topped the UK charts.

On to the dry

Fifth week completed. They are showing more and more deficiencies, so I starded feeding more. I also got Bluelab soil pH meter - currently they are around 6.2 - not bad - week ago runoff was adound 5 so I was worried - but 2 waterings of pH 7.2 did the trick. They are back on track. I hope they will eat fast enough to save more leaves till the end - I want to keep them 3 or 4 more weeks. Buds are bulking nicely - they get fatter by the day. And they smell amazing - even with my horrid temperatures - the heat wave is real - AC does not help much though without AC it would be like 40*C in the tent 😵 Till next week! Started adding the nutes at 1ml/l. Just using Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco A+B for veg, Will add in some molasses after any HST or defoliation (stress). Looking good so far.

Good week. Putting on a nice coat of frost and stinks like skunky sweet candy. Doing really well for a 2 gallon in a small tent.

3/19 230pm I just got the three new ones and I’m really excited to start them. I’ll be using Cannakan for germination 3pm That was easy all done. 3/20 12am almost ready. 2am poured out the water put in new distilled water below the notch and we are good to go. Set at 88 for 78 target. 130 pm I got the dirt work finished. It’s the part that I hate the most. I try to keep it as clean as I can. They are ready to go. I’ll be putting them in the dirt in a little bit.👍👍👍 3/21 1am..... going to see if they woke up.. I put the dirt in without much mess. The dirt is clean and easy to work with. I poured CAREFULLY in lines in both directions of a red party cup of Rapid Start and pH 6.5 each💦. nothing yet, but gnats... 3/22 Surgery was a success times 3!!!! All delivered happy and healthy!!!!! 3/23 12 am looking great!!!

Week 4 begins for Mandarin dreams and Divine storm. Both ladies are looking happy and I increased their feed by 1 liter each. So the Northern Lights free seed from RQS ended up out living all 3 of the Dosidos’ “USA Premium” seeds that all died within the first week of sprouting, hopefully an explanation will be found for this as I have not been able to come to any conclusion as to what happened. Long live the lights amiright

Plant is stretching a bit with some appearance of Pistils, started bloom nutes for pre-flowering, but still has a way to go. Plant is quite low as I trained her that way (accidentally 😅) hopefully won’t affect yields too much. Update following question: general consensus is that light meter app is unreliable so Im using the PAR chart from the grow light as a measurement. Boost Buddy CO2 bag added to the tent with a good effect. Plant seems to be doing well in all, one browned tip and no other seemed to appear.

Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again!
