Rapid plant growth in the last week.

Been ghost for a little while but now I’m back. Been dealing with a lot of personal stuff but I've been maintaining my focus on this girl. She’s grown a lot in the past 4 weeks. Did some LST, topping, and some super cropping. Started her outside but brought her inside the tent because she was reaching her full potential. She’s doing great now! I’ve been fighting a fungus gnat infestation but I got it under control now. She’s in her 3rd week of flower and is moving along nicely.

I have 11 photos periods of which 3 northern lights and 2 critical kush are in scrog after a bit of lst and are loveing it.i also have 6 purple maroc just lst they are looking for a bit a N so i need to pay dem some attention. Now the fast buds girls pineapple express and BlackBerry auto are in flower now about two weeks now and flying lovely to grow check em out...keep on growing people

(Expected flowering: 9 weeks) Germination: 24h 7/9, 48h 8/9, 72h 9/9 Transplant: 4(6)/9 not sure yet, some issues with overwatering, rot and previous week Paris heatwave prolly luckily i have some back up plant nearly ready for transplant in the veg area, so gonna use them to fill the tent empty slot this cycle.

The end is in sight, likely in 2 weeks, they are producing compact and sticky buds, looks like it is going to be easy to trim, so little leaves in those buds! They smell fruity, earthy, fuel and a very strong kush base with lemon on one of my pheno, the second one is a little smaller and she smells more like carame&peaches in a kush sauce lol absolute beauties!

Home stretch, added some dry kool bloom to help ripen. 1-2 weeks left then flush and chop Time :-)

7/29 - Week 9 of veg is starting. At this point, it is just let them grow up a few inches, and also fill out the pots some more with roots before transplanting to 5 gallon fabric pots (their final homes). I also plan on mixing a 'flower blend' soil to fill up the 5g pot around the rootball that is transplanted. This recipe for the soil is taken from MaximumYield: Enhanced fruit/flower potting soil recipe This soil recipe is designed for plants that are ready to fruit or flower. In particular, this recipe works great for ornamentals that are already in bloom and for fast-growing annuals that are entering their fruiting or flowering stage. Parenthesis indicate small changes or products I'm using. 1/2 cu. ft. (60 cups) sphagnum peat moss (Promix BX) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) coco coir (Mother Earth Coco Peat) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) compost (either compost or manure) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) perlite 10 cups pumice (likely to just use perlite here) 5 cups worm castings 3 cups bat guano (high phosphorus) 1 cup fish bone meal (using regular bone meal, got Jobe's Bone Meal) 1 cup oyster shell 1/2 cup seabird guano (likely to just add as the high phosporous guano) 1/4 cup alfalfa meal 1/4 cup fish meal (Down to Earth Fish Meal) 2 tbsp. langbeinite (Down to Earth Langeinite) 1 tbsp. glacier rock dust (Azomite ordered from Amazon) 7/30 - While technically the morning of 7/31, lights haven't gone out yet, so it is still the 30th ;) It almost hurts posting pictures today, because they were really thirsty, but I honestly hadn't looked at them for a couple days. Anywho, the plants were watered with ~1.25 liters of water each, about 90 minutes before lights out. Will be interesting to post the 7/31 photos after a couple hours of lights on, and see the difference in appearance. I also mixed the soil for flowering, and it will now have a couple weeks to 'cook' and become ready for the plants. I did make a mistake and accidentally added 1 cup of fish meal instead of 1/4 cup (oops), and the alfalfa meal just smelled too good, so I added 1/2 cup instead of 1/4. Hopefully those 2 'changes' don't add too much nitrogen for flower, but I imagine it won't. I also instead of adding perlite (didn't want to buy a 4 cu ft bag when I needed at most 2.5 gallons (1/3 cu ft), so I opted to add 1 gallon of pumice. Since the coco peat and promix both have perlite in them, I didn't want too much added. There were also some worms from the compost that made it into the tote that is now storing the mix, so life has already started in the soil. 7/31 - It wasn't just after lights on, as I didn't have time to photo earlier, but this is just about 24 hours after watering, and praying/looking good. I had noticed that it looked like the fan had slipped down the pole a bit, and was causing some wind burn/clawing of the leaves yesterday, which probably attributed to poor looks, but looking better today! I am not that versed in checking preflowers, though I know the difference for sure once flowering starts, but it appears both of these may be ladies! 8/4 - After getting home from work, and realizing I hadn't checked on the plants in a couple days and I knew they were due for water either yesterday or today, I saw some THIRSTY plants. They each got ~1.2L of water, and also a quick trim back. Also, as shown in the pictures, and while still under 18/6 light, DC#2 has developed balls, and is definitely a male. I have been contemplating growing any males out for pollen, but that just might be further down the road for me. He will likely get the plug soon. On the plus side, DC#1 definitely has hairs!

While I am not that versed in checking preflowers, from what I can tell, if I had to guess, CH#1 could be either (maybe slightly leaning towards female, thought I might have saw a couple hairs), and the #2 actually looked male to me. 8/4 - After getting home from work, and realizing I hadn't checked on the plants in a couple days and I knew they were due for water either yesterday or today, I saw some THIRSTY plants. They each got ~1.2L of water, and also a quick trim back. After checking preflowers again, I am afraid that both Chinook plants may end up male :(

First week of flower omg so excited

Plant streached out a bit more this week not sure if it is over yet. Flower is coming along and the buds are starting to form. Now the fun part starts. I'm sure everyone loves the flower phase. Did a defoliation, seemed to work the first time so I will keep doing it. Took two of the three plants an put them in a tent. There is no space in the flower room and did not want to compromise the grow. I guess I was a little over anxious and poped these seeds a bit early. No big deal, a tent is always good. It will be interesting to see the difference between the two areas flowering. This will come down to cheap led fixture vs 1100 true watts of the timber grow vero 29 3000k cobbs. Fornthe cheap led fixtures I have 2- 1600 watt, a 1000 watt and a 600 watt. Ok this is the advertised watts and not true watts. I don't know the true watts either. I have to say they seem to work great for veg and thats what I used them for until I ran out of room. I am hoping the reflective tent will help. Any comments or tips are greatly appreciated. Week seven of flower, temp is coming down and is good. Buds really just started to fatten up. They are getting really frosty too. Getting faded leaves and some burnt and or dead ones too. One looks like it will finish in a couple of weeks, the others look like they might need more time. Cheers!

1/8 prepare Easy combo bloom: hello then this day I prepared the easy combo bloom of the royal in 6 liters of water with controlled ph, this nutrients make the flowers become big, among other things this will be like a booster! on i bud 30/07/2019 I can say that this strain drinks! in fact, he drinks a lot and the nutrients don't seem to bother even at higher doses ... has anyone noticed the same? 17/06 if you have seen the diary from the beginning you have understood that the counting of the weeks starts when I put the seed to sprout ....

So it has come to an end of the 5th week of flowering . In this week i changed my reservoir for the first time. I spend more time monitoring the change of the reservoir and found out that the ppm of it was higher than the initial value. When i premix the solution it was around 850ppm but when i added it to the medium within 2 days it jumped to 1300-1400 . That caused a slight nutes burn but it was very mild. The other thing i found out is that the ph tends to become lower when it is added to the medium , i found some deficiencies on the leaves and i knew immediately that my ph was messed up. There are three things that i don’t really understand what i did wrong . 1.The size of the buds , since it is the end of week 5 into flowering . The buds seems underdeveloped compared to others. 2. I can’t see any trichomes clearly yet (very few) 3.why do i have a lot of sugar leaves and lots of small buds instead of few big buds. 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨

Better weather this week. I fed kelp and molasses on day 45. Canuck is showing nice trichome development. The pyramid continued to grow so I gently applied a couple of more tie downs to let as much light in as possible. Branches are getting quite stiff. Smell is nice from both in the evening.
