Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. It was another great week here in the grow room plants have come leaps and bounds low stress training is really having a huge effect on canopy density and i cannot be happier

These have surprised me , not even a spot on them. Wall to wall now , maybe should have went with a total of 7 , but im not complaining . Few of these are already dripping in thc . The two largest ones were topped , I have done a defol on them , the smell is definitely there . I might need a filter in the next few weeks .

Con 22 dias, pasados 7 de la última poda de hojas y 22 del cambio de fotoperiodo me decidí por hacerles una nueva poda, esta algo más severa . Yemas, hojas y chupópteros de bajos. A partir de entonces solo se irán quitando muy de vez en cuando alguna hoja o algun brote o yema que pueda salir por ahí que no me guste, muy poca cosa. Me deshice de la malla, harto me tenia. La quité para la poda y luego me hizo mucha pereza volver ponerla. Prefiero menos cantidad. Esta semana explosión de tricomas

Cosechamos la purple bud la más pequeña y compacta, solo 1 ejemplar de esta variedad, las hojas no se han vuelto purpura pero si los cogollos con algunos matices rosas púrpuras y rojizos muy bonitos y con muy buen aroma

My Purple Kush plant is the smallest in the tent and hasn't been growing much. It's a classic strain, so I'm not sure why it's struggling. Maybe I just got a bad seed. I'm still hoping it'll turn purple and delicious, though! Okay, This past week has been absolutely fantastic! The weather has been incredible, and I've been able to keep the windows open almost the entire time. My plants are thriving in the humidity, and the VPD has been perfect. Everything just feels so balanced and in check.

This week, the plant is feeding heavily and has grown well. I super cropped the main stem to help with the plant becoming too tall, afterwards I made some scaffolding and a sling to hold the break and prevent it from snapping. It has taken very well. Before the training I performed, I used 4 bamboo canes to stake the base. The plant had become very top heavy so this has really helped. The plant was becoming very tall so I thought this would be something to try out. Here's what I did this week. 18.7.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4, containing the following nutrients; 💜 2ml Ecothrive Trace PH: 6.4 PPM: 365 22.7.25: I watered with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 with; 💜 1 TSP Sea K PH: 6.6 PPM: 485 25.7.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5, containing the following nutrients; 💜 2ml Ecothrive Trace 💜 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.5 PPM: 361 28.7.25: I watered with 6.5ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with; 💜 7ml Trace 💜 1.5 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.0 PPM: 351 Thank you for checking in this week and hanging out in the comments 😁💚✌️🌱🙌

Hey Team! What can I say, my first time grow is coming along smooth. 🍃🍃 🍃 D-Boogie coming along smooth y’all. I think My tangerine dream is getting ready to flower soon. Going to carry out the veg-state as long as I can. I’m not sure how much water to give them but I’m sticking my gallon a week to keep it safe. Looking forward to next week!

Bueno, así terminamos esta primera semana de flora. Muy feliz con ambas plantas. Muy fuertes. Cargado de nuevas enseñanzas y cada vez más ansioso de llegar a la cosecha. Aunque aún falta la mitad del proceso y la en parte la más difícil por temas de humedad ya que ha estado lloviendo mucho en mi ciudad y he tenido picos nocturnos de 85% aunque en parte es normal ya que estás dos primeras semanas con el corte de bajos y chiquitaje que no producirá nada ellas transpiran un poco más. Esperemos que esta semana se nivele un poco o en últimas tendré que conseguir el deshumidificador para las últimas semanas y pues nada más que agregar. Gracias por llegar hasta aquí nos veremos en la próxima semana antes de empezar a dar engorde para estos cogollos!
