Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. We harvested one of the Tropicana XL girls , this is going to be a weird entry because I decided to not make a harvest entry till the other one lady finishes. Unfortunately because of my sticky fingers from all the trimming I did not make many pictures/videos of the grow itsels, to fill this void I decided on including the harvest videos and photographs. Although the final weight will be summed up in the final harvest. We finally see that our problem with the plants may not a deficiency but overfeed...decided to leave the reservoir as it is for this week and add only fresh water next week we will flush the system and for seven days the girls will only drink water. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The SE7000 runs at 520 Watt and about 33cm from the canopy and is doing an astounding job. Hi all.. Lady's are very happy..still stretching a bit..looks like the push is almost over. Very faint sweet smell starting to come form them. Im going to do another light defoliation soon. Humidity is a bit high and i want to avoid WPM. Sorry for all the wierd couler photos , i try take picks as the lights come on.. I will upload some more picks on friday. Other then that..Perfect! 😁 420 for life.

Things are going great. These girls are getting nice and frosty. They are so easy. And the smell! Oh she's heavenly! She's almost sickeningly sweet. I'm very excited to try this strain. Last year I was more on the Indica dominant bandwagon, since I use Kratom during the day for pain management. But my obsession with CBD Blue Shark has me excited for more balanced hybrids. I've been having an issue with the quality of Kratom I've been getting from vendors so I may have to start in on wake&bakes, which FastBuds says this strain is perfect for!

Plantas sanitas y fuertes.

One of the plants has a slight pie dough smell, but still very minimal smell when I open the tent. EDIT: the smell is actually making it passed my carbon filter, and I am not sure why it is only 1 of the 2 plants giving off the heavy smell as well. The chunkier/darker colour one is the one that smells real heavy, smells really creamy/doughy. UV/IR has been on for the past few weeks, and will stay on until the end. The plants have gone through a bunch of issues so far, and are still going strong. Gave a tablespoon of power bloom to each, on day 31.

She grows alone for one month with everything automatic cause i went in hoiliday for one month. Everything went really really good. :D

Los cogollos brillan a la vista por una capa de tricomas... se nota sus 18% de Thc. Es una cepa que es 100% válida para proyectos SOG. Genética cruzada con Chemdawg x Lemon Thai x Pakistani Kush. -realizamos un estrés hídrico: Lo cual es regar las últimas semanas en el mismo periodo de tiempo, pero reduciendo las cantidades de riego progresivamente. Zambeza a hecho un gran trabajo con esta cepa y no hay más que verla... 👏

This is more than 21 weeks now, there was a time when I was not updating as she was a very slow, most probably due to inappropriate care :) I was very upset when completely broke my young plant in week 5 but now I’m very happy that I didn’t give up on her and cloned her :)

Día 15. Las plantas ya alcanzaron un altura muy buena. Ya empiezan a aparecer los primeros pelos blancos. Por el momento me ha sorprendido la reacción de las plantas al bud blood. Si puedo voy a comprar bud candy para ayudar un poco a la mezcla. Por el momento decidí mantener el bud blood a media dosis durante una semana más con el big bud. Veremos que tal resulta. Día 17. El estirón siguió y las plantas alcanzaron 51 cm. Las pequeñas directamente quedaron tapadas. En este experimento se puede ver la diferencia entre tierra e hidroponia. La verdad que estoy sorprendido. Creo que los productos usados son los que han marcado la diferencia. Las plantas quintuplicaron la altura total que tenían al momento de pasarlas a floración. Y sospecho que van a seguir estirándose una semana más. Espero no tener problemas de altura porque no lo planeaba. Creo que voy a cortar algunas ramas bajas más, dado que se están generando muchas sombras nuevas. Seguiré actualizando. Día 19. El estiramiento continua, pero levemente. Ya alcanzaron 55cm. Estuve cortando algunas ramas y hasta supongo que podría cortar más. Pero a esta altura ya todo lo que hay recibe buena luz. La diferencia entre la madre que está en tierra y los esquejes en hidroponia, es cada vez más notoria. Si bien ya la he visto, tener una planta al lado de la otra bajo la misma luz, hace la parte alevosa de todo esto. De todos modos, he comprobado que el sabor obtenido en tierra, es más fiel al de la hidroponia. En hidroponia en principio, las plantas son mas fuertes en todo, pero el sabor de alguna forma, es demasiado afectado por los nutrientes. Incluso habiendo lavado dos o tres semanas, la planta sostiene un sabor constante en todas las variedades, que parece estar atado a la nutrición. Siendo que en tierra, cada variedad tiene su sabor distintivo, siendo una distinta de otra. La próxima actualización será en la nueva semana, ya que al quedar poca solución, la voy a cambiar antes y voy a poner 12 litros en lugar de los 10 que vengo usando. Las plantas vienen comiendo mucho.

Sono nate tutte e già sono pronte per crescere in maniera abbondante. Dopo una settimana già sono dieci centimetri alte e tranquillamente si stanno adattando al caldo estivo italiano. È stata una germinazione perfetta e sono felice di avere scelto queste magnifiche banche dei semi mondiali. I cloni invece hanno preso bene e sono già posizionati a terra all'aperto e posizionati in penombra. Alcuni cloni non c'è l'hanno fatta ma più di nove cloni sono in perfetta salute e hanno iniziato a radicare. La pianta madre dei cloni è una Orange Bud raccolta indoor in gennaio e poi trasferita in outdoor per farla rigenerare e ad inizio aprile ha iniziato una seconda fase vegetativa abbastanza mostruosa perché sta formando centinaia di diramazioni biforcute e sta prendendo la classifica forma di cespuglio grezzo. Ne vedremo delle belle con queste varietà coltivate biologicamente. Un abbraccio a tutti.
