11/7/23 - Day 1 - OK so big day going on here. It's time to get this little Skunk#1 seed into some lights! (really it's Day 9, but were going to let it sync up to the app) Above are photos of my best attempt at showing how this system works. First thing you want to do is to run the Leaf software and do the startup procedure. Selecting the Start grow button kicks off step by step instructions on the setup process. There is a video of showing the automatic water fill coming from the RO water setup I created. Normally this is setup for hose water from your house. I want to make sure im using RO water for obvious reasons. I will say, when you are done with you grow in this Leaf box make sure you clean it well. Its been a month since i cleaned it and had i not cleaned this it would take you much longer to start your new grow. This is another grow that's starting out smooth! Ill keep you updated as I move along! 11/13/23 - Day 6 - Shes got her 3rd set of leaves just starting to grow. Her roots are not out of the net pot, but i can see them coming out of the rockwool. What to say in the end, even though things were not ideal, the outcome is better than expected. 🙏 My only regret is that it has not reached its full potential, although the buds are beautiful, dark purple, full of terpenes that stick to your fingers like honey when you touch them. 😋 The outcome is in the end 56 g. which is more than it looked before the harvest. 💪 She dried along with her two roommates Purple Punch for a total of 14 days. My wife, although not a consumer, enjoys trimming which suits me great because I can take photos during that time. After trimming, we put the dry tops in jars where they matured for another 20 days. Sometime in the future I would definitely repeat Watermelon, I know it can do even better. It’s great that it’s summer, it fits perfectly with the Watermelon joint on an afternoon summer evening with a book and the sea. The fall lies with me reusing soil that I shouldn't have been using.. So we pulled her so I didn't waste any more time dumped the soil and filled her up with fresh pro mix hp! ------GENERAL COMMENT------ Everything going well, the AK47 is much more vigorous than the BB, let's consider that she was more stressed. So i'm putting up the week timelapse, is a pain to do it but i found the result very interesting will try to put up one weekly. This week was a busy one, opted to a defoliation to be able to even the bud spots introducing a cage, and doing some LST, training to the cage to make a more flat pre flower spots in that way the flowering will be easier to control. So the plants grew in hight but was trained to be more bushy. We have a week to go or something about that then i will switch to 12-12. ------GG.AK47 COMMENT------ Vigorous growth, she was trained to even the canopy, with many bud spots.

Closer to the end than the beginning now! I'm thinking another couple of weeks, lets keep an eye on the pistils and see when they all turn colour.

Feeding nutes based on chart, water in (sameday) ..... clean compost brewer and brew new batch (sameday) ..... use compost tea once wk (nextday, water in lil) and discard and clean for next week.... defoliation a lil daily..... HENCE ... becoming more of a chore or should I say we have a great relationship right now. A coexistence, a sudden need for one another. They are my sheep and I am there shephard! Now lets harvest some cotton!

The girls are starting to wrap up their cycle. I have been watching the trichomes closely, and we are getting very close..Trying to pick the best day for both of the strains I have going at the moment, the Apple Betty are a little closer than the cookies, but they are very similar in readiness… I’ll be checking daily, I did get a wireless microscope for Christmas so it has become much easier to tell👨‍🔬 I’ve got mostly cloudy, with a few clear, but I am waiting for a bit more amber to give them the couch lock that I like when I smoke. Week 5 Before and after LST

A-Day 53 (into week 8) B&C-Day 49 (end of week 7) A - She is stacking well, and feeling greasy! The smell is coming on stronger everyday, frost is just starting to build up. There is a distinct transition as the leaves go through veg to early flower to late flower. Uniform all around, not very tall, but she is hardy and thiccc! B- Full flower now, so many tops! She has shown to be a slower flower developer than A, but the flowers she are developing are almost completely uniform all across the 🌱! I assume because there are so many they will be a little slower. I put her ties back on, and the middle shoots exploded with new stretch and growth, so she is still in that stretch/flower stage. C- what can I say, patience is a virtue. She is looking lush and vigorous. With this being a slightly longer to finish auto strain, she has had time to recover from a) being a runt, B) having slow growth, c) having almost no training and lighter nutrient feeds her whole existence. This is also my control for Topping, she was not, A and B were. This strain is clearly hardy and able to withstand multiple techniques, we’ll see what the end the result is compared to her sisters. All three plants received a full nutrient feed x2 this week. That was: 3 gallons dechlorinated water mixed with 12 ml Micro, 12 ml Bud, 20 ml Grow, and 6 ml Sensi Extra CalMag, PH’d to 6.2. And another very low feeding of 1/3 that mixture mixed into 3 gallons of water. Ive heard many growers who instead of just watering, they will do a much lower strength of nutrients included in their watering, and ultimately never not feed their plants nutrients until flush. Thoughts?
