🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. She just keeps getting more beautiful. 👑🌿 Godfather OG Pheno B has reached that point in the run where I can walk into the room, look at her for a few seconds, and immediately think: "Yep... she's doing exactly what she wants to do." 😂 She's growing beautifully. She's maintaining that gorgeous green. She's continuing to build her flowers. She's getting increasingly covered in resin. And that personality we've been watching throughout the entire adventure? Still there. She's still a Queen. Just a very busy one. 😂👑🌸 So this week, once again... the spotlight belongs to her. Because she deserves it. ──────────────────────── 🌱 WEEK 11 – STILL BECOMING HERSELF ──────────────────────── There wasn't a huge amount of physical intervention this week. And honestly... that's perfectly fine. The plants have already done the hard work of building their structures. The branches are established. The flowering sites are developed. The canopy is doing its job. And now we're reaching the stage where I really enjoy stepping back and simply watching. Godfather OG Pheno B is doing exactly that. She's growing. She's developing. She's filling her structure. And she's becoming more and more recognizable as her own phenotype. That's one of my favourite things about this whole 8×8 Adventure. At the beginning, we're looking at plants with potential. As the weeks pass, that potential starts becoming personality. And now? I look at Pheno B and think: "Okay... I know you." 😂👑 She's the beautiful, hungry, composed Queen who quietly keeps asking for more while getting on with the job. ──────────────────────── 👑 THE QUEEN IS STILL SHINING ──────────────────────── There are plants that demand attention because something is wrong. And then there are plants that demand attention because something is going very right. Godfather OG Pheno B is definitely in the second category. She's simply beautiful. Her structure. Her colour. Her flowers. Her resin. The way she occupies her space. Everything is starting to come together. And what I particularly like is that she doesn't need to be the biggest plant in the room to make herself noticed. She has her own presence. You walk past her... and your eyes stop. 😂👑 There's something about her. She's becoming one of those plants where you already know what you're looking at before you even check the label. That's when a phenotype really starts becoming memorable. ──────────────────────── 🌸 THE FLOWERS KEEP GETTING BETTER ──────────────────────── And of course... the flowers. 🌸🌿💎 This is where the excitement continues. The flowering structures are becoming increasingly developed, and the plant is starting to look more and more like the finished vision we had in mind when this journey began. The flowers have substance now. The pistils are weaving through the developing structures. And the resin continues to become one of the most obvious features of the plant. There's something incredibly satisfying about watching those tiny changes accumulate. One week doesn't necessarily look dramatically different from the previous one. But then you look back at an older photograph... and suddenly: Whoa. She's changed. 😂 That's why documenting these plants matters. We're not just taking pretty pictures. We're creating a timeline. A visual record of the plant becoming herself. And Godfather OG Pheno B is definitely becoming something beautiful. ──────────────────────── 🍃 THAT BEAUTIFUL GREEN ──────────────────────── Her colour continues to be one of the things I really enjoy about this phenotype. That healthy green remains such a strong part of her character. And when you compare her with her sister, you can still see the family resemblance. Same genetics. Different phenotype. Similar foundations. Different expression. That's the beauty of having both Godfather OG girls in the same room. You can see the similarities... but you can also see the differences. Pheno A has her own Queen energy. Pheno B has her own. And while both are demanding, both hungry and both beautiful... they don't express themselves in exactly the same way. We've added the two additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures to the room. And after initially seeing that the available intensity was higher than our target, we've reduced the output to approximately: 💡 ~59% power from the plug That gives us around: ☀️ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy with the intensity naturally changing depending on plant height and position. And I really like what this gives us. More lighting capacity. More flexibility. More control. Without needing to run everything at maximum. We're not interested in simply producing the biggest number possible. We're interested in creating an environment where the plants can make good use of the photons available to them. And Pheno B certainly seems happy to catch them. 😂💡👑 ──────────────────────── ☀️ THE QUEEN IS CATCHING PHOTONS ──────────────────────── I've said this throughout the 8×8 reports, but I think it becomes more interesting every week. When we look at a beautiful flowering plant, we're looking at the visible result of thousands of invisible processes. The lights come on. Photons enter the canopy. Leaves intercept them. Photosynthetic machinery captures that energy. And that energy becomes part of the enormous chain of processes happening inside the plant. Growth. Maintenance. Development. Flower formation. Everything we're looking at ultimately connects back to that energy capture. And Godfather OG Pheno B has built herself a beautiful structure for doing exactly that. She's got healthy foliage. She's got multiple levels. She's got flowers throughout the plant. She's got a three-dimensional canopy. She's essentially created her own little photon-catching architecture. 😂☀️🌿 And now we're watching what she does with it. ──────────────────────── 💡 NOT JUST LIGHT FROM ABOVE ──────────────────────── The additional lighting philosophy remains important too. That's what makes a mature plant so interesting from a lighting perspective. You're not simply illuminating a surface. Earlier in the run, there was plenty to do. Training. Structure. Canopy management. Positioning. Adjustments. Now? The plants are doing the talking. And Godfather OG Pheno B is saying: "Just keep everything working." 😂 So that's what we're doing. Stable environment. Stable irrigation. Appropriate nutrition. Good airflow. Controlled lighting. Observation. And patience. The boring stuff... which is often the most important stuff. 😂🌱 ──────────────────────── 📸 THE CAMERA STILL LOVES HER ──────────────────────── And honestly... I understand why. This girl photographs beautifully. The green foliage. The developing flowers. The resin. The structure. There's always something happening when you put the camera in front of her. So the bud pretty much matched the size of the pot! Super tiny grow at 80ml of soil! Pretty frosty and dense considering the size of the pot! Smells like lemon too! Just chopped her down and will have a harvest report on my assuming 4 grams of dried bud! Fun tiny grow! ✌️💚🌿💨

Her sativa genetics are really showing. I’ve turned the light power down to 50% hoping this will help to mature the plant. It is looking like another good week of flower will be appropriate here. Ernte nach 64Tagen. Für den falschen ph wert ganz akzeptabel. Auch erst mein 1ter richtiger grow. Hat spaß gemacht. Nächstes mal wird einiges besser. Wenn die blpten fertig sind gibts noch mehr bilder.

Finally have the gnats under control!!! Using a combination of beneficial bacteria, neem oil, and organic pesticides. They’re still there but only a couple so I will continue use. Skywalker og is still double the size of all the others and drinks double the water so that is crazy idk how to deal with that I might just start watering it in between watering the other ones idk it’s crazy. Also don’t know how long we’re gonna go with this veg I want to do a pound which is ambitious for a second grow with a 300w light in a 2 x 4 but that would be cool. Looking good tho next grow I’m only gonna do 3 strains instead of 4 or even 2 but we’ll see. Went a little too heavy on the nitrogen I think i dialed it back a bit but plants are healthy and strong I think the silica helps a lot.

31/07/23 Everything seems to be going really well even though I haven't added nutriments. I'm planning to use LST on plants 2, 3, and 4 this week, hoping not to mess anything up. I'll have to buy a dehumidifier too because it's very humid at my place right now, and I can't get the humidity level below 65% 01/08/23 I started the LST but only on 2 and 3, and I have no idea if I did it well, but I'm quite happy with the result. 02/08/2023 I have cut some leaves, especially on numbers 2 and 3, so that the little heads are no longer in the shade but directly in the light and I haven't touched number 1, I don't plan to touch it until the end.

This week was an absolute scorcher with daytime temps in the low 30C, but we had no rain so I had to water more frequently. Seen a lovely burst of growth after last week's nutrients. Decided to bend and secure today to learn new technique. I'm fairly happy with the results. Think I might need to book up a scrog net worth all my girls after this training.

Currently working 7am-10pm so making diaries a bit difficult at moment , I will do my best and get some nice harvest pics , this does look frosty ..

So, thinking this is the first day of week5, but I’m not sure. 📢🗣️ I think this is ‘flowering’ but I’m not sure; comments to help me define ‘flowering’ would be appreciated, please judge my photos and let me know! 📢🗣️ I made a video of my PH reader and a photo. Comments with help for that would also be appreciated, is the PH really over 9 (my readers max) due to calcium buildup up, or is the humus lombrico giving a false reading? 500 ml distilled water (still trying to flush high calcium buildup from the local water). When the fertilizers arrive I’ll start giving her food: 9/8 200 ml bloom, 60 ml CalMag sup 10/8 250 ml filtered tap water Moved her to a different balcony that gets a little less morning sunlight 🌅 but a lot more afternoon sunlight ☀️ Tightened the first two LST yarns, added 2 more and discovered 2 more bud sites!

The two main events this week: Defoliation and training. The ladies seem to take it well, even though they are not the most fun to play with. Very bushy, sturdy and quite inflexible, I already broke 3 branches by mistake on the one that is the hardest to work with. And I did ended up doing lots of HST on her, cuz it was impossible to do LST. Apparently the nuts I use have a rather low amount of Phosphorus... I had the same problem in my last grow (dark leaves, slow bud development)... unfortunately that time I didn't get what was happening. So I started giving them "Bud Explosion" now, 2ml/l, which basically contains a mix of Phosphorus and Potassium, and the improvement was almost instantly noticeable! I'm thinking they get 4-5 more days to recover in veg. then I flip them.
