So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

New grower, always looking to improve. Continuous drip, expanded clay system with an 80L reservoir. Nutrients mixed to a 40L ratio. (Half strength) Recovering from accidentally leaving the drip feed for about 18 hours, and then nutrient locking the clones the previous week.

Week 11: Wow such a busy week i'm sorry i am late on this one. Loads of humidity with all the new growth there is so much more plant transpiring and its has really drove my humidity up. So what i am doing is pruning stems and leafs that i don't think will mature in time and this should also help to limit the humidity i will have once things start to set heavily I want to harvest and not have to fight mold. But this aggressive pruning i think might be limiting my harvest. I might have to invest in a dehumidifier. Pictures will be updated and added later. With all the mulching i've done its really helped lessen my work load as i do not have to water as often. Not much to write about here. Life has been busy and the plants are just stretching and growing every day. I have raised my lights so often these past few weeks.

The plants look stunning, beautiful strain to grow and work with for sure, I cannot wait to smoke those buds, the fragrance has instantly make me want to run her again most definitely, the stretch has been really noticeable and and both phenos have a lot of flowrs, looks very productive plants, looks like a solid strain, both phenos smell the exact same, this 4th week of flower it's gonna be very exciting, I only water 💦 the medium when dry and that's it, FLO Living soil blends does a sensational performance keeping your plants well fed all the way from seed and also provides you amazing results in terms of quality of the flowers, the smell is so pure and it makes every strain perform to its best, I'm definitely in love with this living soil blend, and also in love with this couple of badazz OG cheese guys. Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. I got to say,,I’ve had a bit of a rough week with the Orange 🍊 Sherbet,,,due to my own enthusiasm to train this girl,,and try getting the most amount of tops,,by fanning her out with a good canopy,,I managed to break me off a good couple branches,,,she seems to have recovered but may have slowed her down some,,,I got to see her through now,,🤞🤞💚🍊🍊🍊🍊

UPDATE: Day 2 of week 10; Friday 23rd October: Nutes in with some LST and defoliation again. Diatomaceous Earth going onto the soil tops today to beat this thrips problem.. Sticky traps to catch the live ones. Glad I caught them fairly early as the girls still look ok. Raised my LED slightly today to give the girls a bit more room to grow and tonight I’m making my dehumidifier in a cardboard box solution to get the dehumidifier out of the tent to bring down the temps to a sensible level to deal with these thrips. I had no probs with thrips until the dehumidifier went in and raised the temps too much. So hopefully these small tweaks with get me back on track. Update same day: dehumidifier in a box method built, my handy work is in the pics, will update again tomz with humidity and temps checked to see if this shit worked! 🤞🏼🙏🏼 UPDATE: Day 4 of week 10; Sunday 25th October- Dehumidifier in a box idea was total shit lol but... I found that just rigging up the ducting to the dry air outlet and leaving the rest of dehumidifier in the open rather than in a box and then pumping that into the tent works much better than having the dehumidifier inside the tent. The plants have soooo much more room, fresh air and temps although slightly higher are not as crazy.. After careful inspection, I couldn’t see one thrip today and my sticky traps have lots of little bugs stuck on them 💪🏼🙏🏼... I’m pretty sure I’m not out of the woods yet, so to not disturb the Diatomaceous Earth in the soil bed I’m going to water them via the bottoms of the fabric pots for a few waterings to really ensure I cut those bad boy thrips to shreds 🤞🏼😎 Nutes will be going in too late tonight when I water them via the bottoms for the first time.. UPDATE: Day 6 of week 10 - Tuesday 27th Oct Girls looking good and the watering via the bottoms went better than expected.. So the Diatomaceous Earth can still do it’s job. Can’t see any thrips but I know they’re still there but no way near as many as before. Buds are still really small and in some areas look like they are beginning to turn orange already, I hope my LED is not burning them. I don’t think it’s that as some of the lower buds under foliage seem to have the same. Will keep an eye! Happy days 💚🍃🌱🙏🏼
