Plants got a surge of growth over the week, lookin forward to a decent canopy come flower. Switched to 12, keeping MH bulb going until i see flowers. Slowly beginning to wean off the calcium nitrate as well. Also have begun to do some light defoliation and pruning where necessary - best to nip it in the bud as they say - before the energy investment grows. Gotta be careful with your girls though, don’t get clipper happy. Cheers Late week update: Actually probably keeping calcium nitrate steady since it'll need more for the stretch, after which I'll quickly decrease and change my nute schedule.

Good bud and visible trichome development.😍 Stretch seems to be slowing down by the end of this week. Another round of MegaWorm and Guano powder spread on the soil this week. Temperatures and and watering needs are increasing as the light is set to 100% this week. 160W of LED on about a third of a square meter should push these plants to some nice yields.🙌

Another week down. The timer is fully switched back to 12/12. It took a week to get there but the ladies don’t seem to mind. The gruntz is still queen of the show, or the biggest. She seems to want to take over the whole tent. Amazing how big she is getting. The Bruce is a close second. Only a few inches shorter. The widows are there and are nice but they aren’t reaching for the stars like the gruntz. They are all beautiful, what can we say, we love all our ladies. There isn’t any smell off them yet, you can get a whiff rubbing the stalk, but not strong yet. We did a defoliation this week, but I don’t think it shows. We also took a few more clones off the bottom branches. The first try of the gruntz didn’t do so well. Try ,try again. Otherwise it’s been a good week. Overall, good first time with this breeder strain - cure will tell everything but first impressions are beautiful - berry dank taste that hits you right away and lasts awhile...don't need much to give you couch lock from this bad boy :) 😏😎🙌

Die Babys starten in die 9. Lebenswoche. Ich habe nochmal einiges entlaubt um möglichst allen Budds Licht zu gewähren. Die sind echt sehr Dicht, Steinhart und wahrscheinlich brauchen die Babys noch gute 2-3 Wochen 🙏🏽 Bin echt gespannt, der Geruch der Terpene ist auch soweit Top aber nicht mehr das was es früher einmal war, jetzt hat es den typischen Runtz Geruch, süß und fruchtig, früher hatte barmend Farm Cali Runtz und die Terpene waren eher Pinie 🌲 Bin trotzdem zuversichtlich auf Fette und Qualitativ hochwertige Ernte 😍

These ladies have started their final stretch. Pink kush will be the first one I harvest, I’m just waiting for her to put out a few amber trichomes and so far she has none maybe within the coming week. Canna-cheese has maybe 2 weeks left. She has the nicest fade I’ve seen so far out of the plants I’ve grown, but she for sure needs to get fatter. Strawberry Skywalker is short but thick, she’s barely starting to fade so I thunk maybe in 3 weeks she’ll be done, still no amber trichs and I’m sure she will get much fatter. Alien berries has surprised me. She was the runt and although a slim plant in veg, she’s putting out some fat knuckles, maybe in 3-4 weeks she’ll be done. Over all good conditions except for a couple spikes in heat a few days. Still no intense smell either.

4/22/24 🍓z I was going to take her down after I trimmed off all of the excess leaves and gave her some of the leftover maximum strength food from a space panda in the next tent. She really started taking off again, so I’m gonna keep her going. I’m gonna keep them all going and doing just great really starting to put out a lot of resin. They smell fantastic. I’m having a lot of fun with them so I’m gonna keep them going. I could take them down right now they are ready, but I just wanna grow them a little more. 👍👍👍 4/23/24 Wow they are great. ZStraverriez...hard to type.... is READY! I took the leaves off a couple days ago to see if I would get any growth but nope. So I will use FloraKleen 10ml per gal and do a 2 or 3 gallon flush and put her back in for a day. I harvested the CBD. It smells like berries, just great just the right size in a 2 gallon pot with no training. I found a seed in the CBD, the others might be seeding as well......that is my oldest tent probably has pollen somewhere. Still everything is good, but im getting a new tent...I also just got a MarsHydro light for 100 it's the light bar one. 4/23/24 Apricot and straw. gorilla are growing good. Zstraberriez....which is a HUGE BITCH TO SPELL....but WOW smells like berries and vanilla and happiness. I let some dry for a few hours and put it in the Arizer X2 and she was great. These are so fast and the colors are beautiful too. It's like a perfect autumn day with all the leave changing color. Except my colors are way better and I can smoke them.... 4/24/24 🍓🍓🦍🍑👍💎💎💎 I am seeing lots of resin form. I thought they would be ready to go, but it looks like they just kind of took a little pause and I trimmed off the unnecessary and fading leaves and they got their second wind and now seeing a lot of resin production💎💎💎. they smell great. They look like they’re ready to keep going for another two weeks so I’m gonna do that and I’ll just harvest a little bit along the way I smoke some of all of them this morning and they’re just great. 👍👍👍 4/25/24 I ended up doing a little bit heavier, feeding than usual. I did about 2 mL of all the supplements and now I’m seeing lots of resin. I’m very careful all the other nutrients have burned my plants horribly but I’m very careful in general. Hydroponic seems to do a good job without burning. Fastbuds has a 25 pack of all their different strains mixed together for 100. I might do that. I’m kind of neurotic. I may need to know what I’m growing I think about this. I really like all of their plants they have a personality all of their own. I like Seedsman and the F1 it’s from Royal queen seeds. 4/25/24 🍑🍓🍓 marsHydro FC-E1500. I just got this delivered today. It cost 100. Although it is a powerful amazing light is no good for me at home. The TS-1000 lights you can move the driver outside the tent and then the top of the light has a little resting tray. This one is totally for commercial use, you cannot remove the driver and its pretty heavy, sold construction all the way, but in my small space I’m gonna have to wrap this up and put it away. It’s a 10 out of 10 it’s a beautiful light super bright. It’s everything you want in a grow light for a commercial space but it is way too hot for a small 24” x 24” tent that I grow in. I have 3 tents and can't run lights over 90Watts or the room gets too hot, and I can grow 3 or 4 perfectly with the TS-1000 set at about only 90 watts, its just perfect. This will get far too hot in the small tent, unless I want to set my air conditioner to 72 and get a massive electric bill! so I’m gonna stick with these TS-1000, the most perfect home light for grow tents I have ever used. I’ll give this light away someday but the Mars Hydro TS-1000 is still the absolute best light I’ve ever used. I have 4 of them now. 4/28 🍓🍓🍑👍💦💦💦💎💎💎 I can’t believe the amount of res in that they are all starting to put out. They are really getting their second wind. I am just having a lot of fun with them so I’m gonna keep them going as long, probably for a couple more weeks at least until they are no longer viable, but I should be able to keep them going pretty good for a while. 👍

Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 179 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! Soo! Eventful week in the tent as I think I I have discovered a lot of my problems with slow growth. So I purchased an EC meter at the beginning of the week and decided to test my run off (rookie mistake this was the first run off since the air pot transfer) and it's fair to say my EC was EXTREMELY fu**ing high... like 3.6 high so this week the first flush I did quarter strength feed I got the run off down to 2.8 then next flush it came down to 2.2 at half strength and the last flush was half strength with an introduction to terpinator and the run off came down to 1.6. It's fair to say I have notice a incredible difference in growth I really want to switch over this week but I'm going to let the plants recover and flick the next week. Little bit worried about space but I love a challenge. Also been a bit of an expensive week as my carbon filter final packed up so I treat myself to a new ram air (6inch) Happy growing!
