Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Great week. Everything is going well. Fat stocky plants, buds starting. Lst and tucking the leaves. Should be nice plants. Still growing daily

Less is more. Lesson learned. Without training these plants, having the fifth plant has really cramped the tent. Because I have limited space for the tent, access into the sides isn't possible. I have only the front entrance. Next time I think I will stick yo maybe three strains that have been positive and try and find the time to train more. The WOS-Northern/Skunk has grown out so nicely into a Xmas tree type of posture. She is making her really good friends with her neighbours, perhaps to their detriment. Seedsman Blueberry continues to be solid and unphased by anything. This is the first time I have smelled a plant that has such a fruity aroma. It really took me aback in surprise. Very cool. HiFi 4G needs support. Did a McGyver solution for the time being. Doesn't appear to have bulked up much this week. Jack is about the same. A bit of bulk up but not expecting this one to be a big yielder. Appears healthy overall so I'm happy. CBD+ bulked up for sure on the main cola's. I'm skeptical she will be done at 60 days at this point....but have to trust what Dinafem are telling me. Be safe folks.

Been flushing in anticipation of cutting down. Day 100 (yes I'm late) chopped the two main colas. They are very dense and heavy!!!!! Just a few more days for the rest of the plant.

GROW 😁 As you may already know, I have 2 varieties in my growroom. 👍 I have 4 pots of each species with 4 plants in each pot. So 16 plants Mother Gorilla and 16 plants Triple G. 👽 In the first weeks, the Triple G plants were the fastest growers. But since flowering, the Mother Gorilla plants have taken over. Most Mother Gorillas are now higher in length than the Triple Gs. They clearly have more Sativa influences than the Triple G. 💪   The 16 Mother Gorilla plants differ greatly in length. On DAY 26 these are the various lengths (in cm) : 63, 67, 83, 83, 95, 99, 107, 110, 110, 111,, 114, 116,117, 126, 130, 134 The drastic pruning in week 2 has stimulated the plants enormously. The plants have been multiplied by 2 to 3 times in height since flowering -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BLOOM 😍 The plants are now busy making new flowers. The plants with the most Sativa genes do not yet have that many flowers. But the plants with more Indica genes are already working hard to string the flowers together to thick buds. The scent of the flowers is fantastic. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WATER / HUMIDITY 😰 I have lowered the desired humidity again this week by 5% 👇 and the temperature is increased by 1 degree. 👆👇 The plants have made many new leaves. Every day (24 hours) the 4 pots (16 plants) get about 7 liters of water to drink. 😂 The '1.75 liter watering volume per plant' stated in 'Grow conditions' is therefore actually '1.75 liter watering volume per autopot' Most of the water evaporates through the leaves and therefore the humidifiers evaporate less and less water. At the beginning of the week, I had to fill the two humidifiers with 7 liters of water every 24 hours, now every 40 hours. 👌

Things are getting frosty around here! Critical Cures are at the top of the class. Critical Mass is in second. Charlotte's Angels are in third. Durga Mata is in fourth, with Blue Shark rounding out the pack as far as blooms are concerned, and how far along they are. This week I used the last of my "Tiger Bloom" and "Big Bloom" and I didn't feel like buying more, so I started making compost tea! It comes from my pile that consists of kitchen scraps, horse, chicken and sheep manure. They seem to be liking it. I also gave them a little nitrogen foliar spray this morning. I've had to spray insecticidal soap twice this week. Smells so fragrant out there, it's attracting a lot of bugs. I sent a pic of one of the Critical Cure's to a friend of mine saying "Not long now!" (As in like 3-4 weeks on this particular plant) to which he replied: "You've still got 6-7 weeks!" No, just no. Same guy also told me my plants would be 8 ft high. Ha! Silly boys.

Orion F1 Organic dry amendments. She has grown well for the first time, after I topped her, she has taken to it very well. I topped the plant on the 14th. 😊 The leaves are looking a luscious, vibrant green. Overall, I'm very pleased with this recent progress. 14.6.25: I top dressed the plant today with the following amendments; ☆ 1 Tbs Ecothrive Life Cycle ☆ 1 Tbs Ecothrive Charge ☆ 1 Tbs Ground Cinnamon ☆ 1 Tbs Diatomaceous Earth ☆ 1.5 Cups Worm Castings. This will hopefully tide me over until the end of the month, when I will top dress again. I have just been watering with plain, dechlorinated water, PH'd to between 6.1-6.5. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. Last week the plants grew looking very healthy although I still have a feeling the low humidity is slowing their growth, by the end of the first week I started raising the EC to make the increasing for this week smoother, run-off EC is substantially increasing so I will start to fertigate them twice a day for this week.
