I haven't trimmed or dried the buds yet so I am looking forward to see the end results and updating my diary soon. Update: 240g of dry bud weight, not bad at all. I think the light helped a lot and should the issue of lockout not occurred half way through the growth then I'd reckon it would have been a lot bigger. Never the less, a great high and couch relaxing adventure. Mint and outdoor smell to it nice taste and denser buds now dried

This is just a beautiful strain to grow. The leaves have a rich dark green appearance and the shape is a mix of fatter indica leaves and longer sativa leaves. It's tendency is a fairly manageable and predictable grow/stretch and it responds well to training and powerful lights. The leaves on one of them changed colour at the end of flush and went yellow with some purples and pinks but the buds themselves have almost a silver glow to them. The pistils come out in early flower in a very strong, spikey and symmetrical way that amplifies the cool glow given off by the trichomes. With the rich, dark, beautiful leaves, the whole appearance is really beautiful and otherworldly. One of the Wedding Cake plants self-pollenated and there are some seeds in the CBD Blue Shark, but they're few and far between. It's not a disaster like the Wedding Cake. Honestly I can't say enough good things about this strain. The plants were hardy, easy to work with and forgiving of mistakes and experiments. The flowers looked amazing through every stage of development, and the finished product smells great, tastes great, looks great, and makes you feel great. This is my favourite strain to grow so far.

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. And we have arrived at the end, the last lady branded Zamnesia F1 Hybrid has been harvested, she is probably the most beautiful and largest of all and her name is Pineapple Express F1 Hybrid Auto. I talked about the harvest of the smallest plant last week if you want to go and see the second one go to week 8. As for this one it is definitely the tallest plant, I still have to weigh the dry buds, but it certainly seems to be the most productive plant, there is really a lot of weed in the dry room. Lots of weed in a short time guys don't overlook this factor, I know especially new growers love autoflowering plants like crazy and have also specialized in growing them: you can certainly see the advantage of finishing in 8-9 weeks instead of 12. 2 more harvests per year do the math guys that's a lot of more weed. Lovers of topping on autoflowering plants, an experimental practice for me on these plants and only recommended on strains that respond well and quickly, will be able to finish the plants in reasonable times without stretching out as if they had grown photoperiodic plants. Guys, if you have to do topping on autoflowering plants, either grow very fast F1 Hybrids or switch to photoperiodic plants, we have excellent strains. It makes no sense to harvest autoflowering plants at week 16, with F1 Hybrids even if you do topping you get to 12. Of course, if you need speed and want to do topping, the advice is to choose those that the breeder indicates as the fastest. Our Pineapple Express is burning with resin and very productive, see for yourself, James Franco and Seth Rogen would be proud of us. The main cola has a wonderful shark fin formation that drives me crazy, I photographed it from different angles but when I see the shark fin I become a schoolgirl. The level of ripeness is medium, halfway through the harvest window we have some amber trichomes, many milky ones but also something transparent still, I could have kept it a little longer but as I said several times: I don't like super ripe plants, the pistils were super ripe so for me it's a symptom of mold lurking, in the growbox now there are 40 degrees.... The heat is not a friend of the quality of the buds and resin. So speed also helps us escape the arrival of the most hostile climates. 10/31: I fed today with one, signal, sweet & sticky, beastie bloomz, and silica. Another batch of top-shelf genetics from Spliff Seeds. They are super frosty, fattening nicely, and smell delicious. One of the MWK's has a lot of purples in her lower flowers...sexy.👍 11/4: Fed with one, signal, sweet & sticky, beastie bloomz, silica, and humic acid. Really in love with the big Moonwalker Kush...such a pretty plant....and her sister ain't too shabby either. Neither Strawberry put on much height, but every branch on them will produce some fatass buds with absolutely zero training...excellent candidate for a single-strain SOG. Amnesiacs protest with too much PAR or UVB...same with the LCK..their foliage is suffering a bit...

Well, it looks as if one of the 3 plants is a male. I live in denial for one more day and then I toss it. Not sure which plant it is, as I painted over the strain names when I painted the cups grey. Smooth. So I will find out soon. Otherwise, good weather and some good growth. Roots are balled up at the bottom of the dutch bucket reservoir, Im sure, because I let the drip go dry for a day or two and the plants were droopin (coco)

Happy gardening. 07/21/2018 Wow unseasonably cold last night got down to 48° brrrr. No signs that the cold bothered the girls posting photos in a min.. And video. Phew took me awhile to upload. 07/24/2018 Mid week update Back to hot and, steamy summer weather. #1, tops are just about 39.5", going to try to get all super cropped to about 30", I expect that they will be double their size at harvest.👍. On a side note hours of light will soon be at 14.5 hope they initiate flowering,as it will give me almost 3 months of flower!👊 #2 is 43.5" looking like a Christmas tree,still some supercropping to spread out the lower layers. #3, is 35.5" And no training just picking her dead,yellowing leaves #4, is 41.5" also no training #5, is 30" , and still stinkiest 😎 of all gonna take a clone today.
