Start week

The week starts Monday, Dec-9 in vegetative stage. Started lowering the distance from the light to 45cm (18") over the coming week. The extraction fan on its lowest setting is too strong for the current growth environment so the humidity levels have been rather low (35% -> 50%). An attempt to stop/start the fan with 30min intervals caused both temp and humidity levels to swing wildly. The environment inside the tent is now stable, albeit low temp and humidity levels since the fan has been left to run continuously. Added a large tray of water with an aquarium heater warming it to raise the humidity level inside the grow tent. And added a large hanging wet towel. Both methods helped. The plant is recovering very well and stretching in its growth. The side branches are reaching out to the light. Starting to increase the frequency of fertigation to daily as the plant seems to be sucking up water/nutrients well. Run-off was measured at EC 0.94 and pH 6.2. Topping at 5th node - start of LBH’s Famous ScrOG Tutorial. Cut the stem above the 4th node. The topping should probably have been done a few days ago but I wanted to see the plant recover first.

Hi all buddies! First crop from hydro nft growth. Growth went well, I had some management problems in changing nutrients from veg to bloom which delayed the harvest for a week or two. Sensi Seeds' Skunk # 1F is incredibly resistant to mold and insect attacks, very close internodes ensure low height and compact buds. Unfortunately I chose the mother phenotype wrong, I found the lowest as I wanted but I lost the fatness of the buds present in other phenotypes, but the game was worth the same and I am very proud of it! I collected after 94 days of flowering, the last 72h 20kg ice cubes in the tank and total darkness which the last 24h without irrigation. After cutting I hung the whole plants in the tent for 24 / 48h 19 ° C 55% HR. Two days of wet trim to 8 girls and I hung their colas in the tent to continue drying. With a girl i tried dry trim but i will avoid next time. After a week in the tent I cleaned the colas and removed all the sticks, I placed everything in airtight bags in the refrigerator for 5 days 12 ° C 65% HR (daily check). Now dark storage room at a temperature of 18 ° C 65% HR. At the last weighing a few days ago it was more than 500g, from now it does not lose any more weight. Came in well and has officially sprouted! I put it in soil and the hanging pot I'll be using for this grow. It's a small ~.5 or less gallon pot (tbh not 100% sure), thay I'm reusing from a plant I got at a nursery a while back. I thought it'd be neat to try and grow a hanging weed plant so now here we go! Will post when the sprout comes out

The Blackberry moonrocks plants are beasts. They're so thick and sturdy, and they're covered in buds. They're not stretching much, so it's gonna be a really tight bud on top. I'm excited to see how they turn out. Well, it's Christmas again. This year feels a little different, though. Maybe it's the snow blanketing everything, or the way the tree lights up the whole living room. Either way, it's cozy and warm, even when it's freezing outside. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Santa brings. I hope I get that new video game I've been wanting. But most of all, I can't wait to spend time with my family. We always have so much fun This past week was a good one for the plants. They started the first week of their stretch, and they've already grown a decent amount. I can really see them filling out. It's cool to watch them grow so fast. I can't wait to see how big they get by the end I always get a little worried at this stage, like they're not gonna get as big as I want them to. But then I remember how they always end up surprising me. By the end, they're always perfect.

Pretty happy with the grow and the harvest, the drying went well also! Each grow highlights changes for the next and this has been no different! I'll be making more training adjustments in the next runs to try and refine the vertical scrog and get to the point where it's a wall 1 bud thick! I know it will get there in the end it's just like relearning how to do a horizontal scrog! I just need to predict the way the plant will respond when the light is from the sides! Bravery and brutality during pruning I think is the key! 😂✌️💚

Why use cotton pads? You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way. This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY tenchnique, you have to respect some little and easy steps: -take one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; -dispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, -take a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face it down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; -now, spray the dry side 3 times. -put this/these "sandwich/es" in a sealed container of a sufficient size to store them, I use like a plastic tupperware (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30.It contains about 8 "sandwitches". -store the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17°C and more. More light they see and colder is the place,slower will be the germination and lower will be the germination ratio. *(-If your seeds are old, not good stored and with a low germination ratio, I suggest you to use Seed Booster by Plagron. Old seeds and maybe stored in a very hot place for a long time may will be death may will not never germinate). Generally a normal cotton pad is good for 3 seeds. If you follow these steps, you will hardly have problem of non-germinating seeds. I tried all methods (except rockwool cube) and in the last two years (and I germinated a lot of seeds) I can tell that this is the faster and reliable way. I loved to use paper towel but with this metod is very easy to put too much water and it will be slow down the germination step. I really hope that this "rule" will help noob growers and maybe will help other growers to improve their skills. I personally do the step by step draw guide. She is tall and lanky, towering over the other outside girls: Fractal, Lemon Cake and Drizzle. All are showing yellowing leaves so everyone is now getting nutrients with feedings. I saw a Japanese beetle on my Lemon Cake and some small holes in the leaves so I added 1/2 tsp neem to the feed solution 6/12. Also started using fish & kelp. I'm still watering 1 gal per plant when I feed 2x/week. With the heat and humidity, I water daily but do not feed daily. My first grow....

6/29 - 4 days after I gave everyone the compost tea, the Jack Herers have sprung back to life! The compost tea was a literal life saver. Just a few days later and her leaves have smoothed out, there's virtually none of that glossy, dark green, twisted and gnarled growth. They are looking great! 6/30 - Top dressed all with Uprising Grow and Uprising Foundation 7/1 - Today I did a little selective defoliation on the Jacks. They are looking stronger and stronger each day. 7/2 - Today was feeding day. Gave them a dose of their regular nutrients. They are very happy! 7/3 - Added some red wigglers today! I ordered some Red Wigglers from Uncle Jim's Worm Farm and they arrived today. I added about 10 to each pot then moistened the soil a bit with just RO water pH to 6.6. I can't wait to watch them do their thing!

WEEK#9 DAY#56 :She could use some water . Easy going grow , slow vertical climb multi-lateral branching . I could selectively prune to encourage vertical growth but at this time I think the grow is going fine . I anticipated the plant being larger at this time athough I’ve never grown this strain before to know what to expect I think another 4-6 weeks of VEG will do her nothing but JUSTICE . Still watering to make those dry amendments available . After these 28-31 days we’ll transplant her into her final 6gallon pot . Or atleast I think that will be her final pot I see the benefit of stepping up pot size gradually and honesty think the growth is healthier when done that way I’m just being lazy and don’t feel like up-potting 3 or more times . I just wanna make small adjustments and move on ya know ? Week#9Day#56Update: 2/3 older girls showing signs of flushing, there’s heavy yellowing top of the plant & purple hues beginning to show. The two of them should have 3-4 weeks left & the buds have not even began to swell yet so I’m worried I missed my feeding time after I gave them nute burn beginning of flower so my fear is that my bud won’t swell & I’ve just jacked up my harvest the last half of flower. I’m going to try & get small amounts of nutes in there to help the bud develop without giving too much to mess up the end of flower flush . The final older girl isn’t showing any signs of flush it is the smallest of the 3 & therefore perhaps did not consume as much food as the other 2 girls is all I can think considering all three ladies soil came from the same batch of premixed “soil” they weren’t individually mixed It’s almost time to get these older girls out & get some note-worthy shots of “Cellie” growing All ALONE into this 5x5. The top dress feeding I gave her still hasn’t become plant available yet. She’s still yellowing . I’ll be glad to see her park back up & continuing growing on. I purchased some worm castings I’ll top dress with a few tablespoons before watering her in & see if that perks her up until the Gaia Green is broken down. Shes almost tall enough to come down off that 1gall bucket even before transplant into a 6gal planter like the older girls finishing up .
