One of the plants was already having problems caused by whitefly. Apparently, the flies deposited some kind of virus that was destroying or "eating" the plant. To preserve the other plants, I took her out of the grow tent. I also started using neem oil every 15 days to prevent issues and avoid whiteflies.

Day 21 : I had planned to do a 21 day defol and strip her out to encourage her to grow below more but in retrospect , this is not in her interest while she is working the buds . The transfer of energy needed to regrow what I take out will be pointless as she isn't tight for space at all. The height has been kept down well with the LST and supercropping which has allowed the strongest secondaries to become the vertical mains. I am going to be taking some lower scrap out and won't be letting half assed buds take her energy to create popcorn. She has gulped the feeds down with no issues at all and shows signs of being a good yielder. Her budlets are fairly loose structures at present but her node lengths are ripe for joined up big Cola's. I noticed that this plant starts to smell sweet, flowery, and fruity especially at lower temperatures. When temps rise, the aroma shifts to spicy and gassy. I’ve never seen this happen with any other strain. I’ll definitely try to keep the temps lower from now on — hopefully, that awesome sweet smell carries over into the smoke. Everything else looks healthy and happy. The buds are getting heavy and starting to fall over a bit. The way I BDSM’d this poor girl, the branches are a bit too flimsy to hold them up.

I'm going to give her another week or two just to get the tricone a little more amber about less then 5% Plant b is looks healthy and is getting thick I am probably going to give it another 3 week cause alot of tricones are not cloudy about 50 to 60% is cloudy will wait till 90-100% is cloudy

Herrrrro gang! Welcome to another week of Daank's grow! 8/2: Brought back the Great White. I was reading that it works well in conjunction with other root excelurators, like Rapid Start. I got 2 more temp/humidity sensors for the tent. It allows me to keep track of 100% of what is really going on, I find it to take away worry (b/c temps are very important!). Today was a "eureka!" moment in terms of understanding run-off pH and it's value to telling the grower how healthy the plant is and what nutes may, or may not, be needed. I also got some new LED glasses so I don't burn my fucking corneas when tending to the garden - they are phenomenal and I suggest them if you grow with an LED. Check the videos and photos. Pistils are growing rapidly and baby budlets are starting to form. I'm actually getting a nice subtle purple color - it's very neat. Today's run-off pH was 6.3, and I gave it 6.3 for water - so that's a good sign (I bounce the pH all around from 5.5-6.3). I'll keep track of this moving forward in the diary. Minor defoliation. ***Pro-Tip: If you're wondering what the run-off should be... around +.5/-.5 of what you put in is good. I can't wait. Day 40: 8/6 - Advanced Nutrient nutes arrive today. Watering will be a pleasure. The plants look great. The buds are real. Small smell. Trimmed last night quite a bit for bud production. They love George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". It perks 'em up.
