Greenislandfr Week without sun, too bad I only had 10 days of sunshine in July and this August isn't any better, very humid and rainy with a lot of moisture. I'm still going to practice an apex trim, fingers crossed for my first autoflower.

Greenislandfr Starting intensive LST, I knew it was a sativa, so I did everything to make it a small, discreet plant. I tried a technique like on bonsais since the stems of the C5 are extremely rigid. However, we significantly cut back on nutrients; in the video, you can clearly see that the leaves are starting to lack nitrogen. I practiced FIMming to pull the rig with all the secondary branches developed by LST. I also had red sap flowing when I followed the cuts according to the lunar calendar; I don't know if that has anything to do with it... But strong growth, beast of a variety!

Greenislandfr Rainy week plus random FIMs and apical trimming on all the secondaries to reduce the plant size. It’s growing a lot and resisting EVERYTHING. Too much fertilizer? No worries, no sunlight? Chill, for what? Can’t put in fertilizer? "Meh, you fed me for 3 weeks straight.

Greenislandfr This week, the secondary branches exploded and are now bigger and taller than the apex. The structure is really special; the LST is either a fail or done to perfection. The trunk has taken on curves, and in some places, it looks like a tortellini—it's beautiful to see. This week has been rainy, but this variety doesn't care about the rain and the cold.

Greenislandfr 4th week of flowering, the buds are beautiful and resinous, they have a tropical/exotic/haze smell that’s quite present, super pleasant. I should have repotted it, but it’s a sativa that’s growing like crazy, so I took the risk of treating the roots with bacteria, then propolix, then bacteria again. Since I have easy access to the roots, I’m keeping an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t get root bound. I know I’m going to lose a lot of weight, but the size is incredible. If I hadn’t done the LST in banzai mode + the successive prunings, I think the plant would be around 2.20m in a 7L pot. On the balcony, it’s not ideal with the 2-meter baobab, so we’re going to make an exception this time. The plant is becoming a pain with the nutrients; it needs a lot of nutrients and especially a lot of nitrogen during mid-flower. So I put a bit of supermix from Plagron with scratching and bat guano at 10 and 5 grams per scratching.

Greenislandfr The buds are slowly swelling, I alternate 1 feeding every 3 waterings deliberately, I'm not looking for yield with this strain, I'm really trying to concentrate the potency as much as possible in the buds. The smell is tropical and dominant about 75%, with haze notes at 25%. It's very light and powerful at the same time; I didn't expect this coming from a "15% THC.

Greenislandfr 6th week of flowering, the strain handles 98% humidity and 10 degrees at night very well without any mold. The buds are really, really, really sticky with a typical sativa/haze smell; it's mainly tropical and floral, then with citrus/haze notes finishing on a creamy hash background.

@Ferenc, thank you very much! I prioritize quality over yield. We'll see how it turns out with 6 hours of sunlight a day. 😂
