Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Lineage: Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb Popularity: Extremely Popular Flavor/Aroma Profile: Chocolate, Earthy, Fuel Yield: 400 g/m2 Stress Tolerance: High resistance to disease Potency: 24% THC Flowering time: 58 - 63 days The Soil: Those who saw my Monstercropped Gelato #33 grow (you should see it if you didn't, I'm so proud of that grow), know about my super soil and organic nutrients/ permaculture tea combo that starred in my previous diary. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! Que pasa familia, vamos con la cuarta semana de vida de estas F.U.H. feminizadas de Seedstockers. Vamos al lío, las plantas se trasplantaron a macetas de 7 litros. El ph se controla en 6.5, la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 70%. El ciclo de crecimiento puse 20h de luz, el foco está al 50% de potencia. Me gustaría estar más encima este cultivo pero la salud me está impidiendo un poco este 100% con el proyecto. I had a lot of fun with this strain and it was grown against 400 growers so let me say PHENO hunting is a true thing. Overall the Bud was a nice dense structure and the smoke on it was smooth and the high nice and even.

Que pasa familia, hoy actualizo la ... no se que semana será de floración pero ahí están, engordando, no veas que céntrales que tuesta tirando, son cohetes. El ph, lo estamos controlando en 6,2 La humedad está en 35% y la temperatura oscila los 29 grados encendido y 22 apagado. Os confirmo a que este y los últimos 2 diarios activos serán con advanced nutrients. Y a partir de ahora los próximos proyectos aportaremos la alimentación de la casa agrobeta. Y nos centraremos más en una buena tabla de alimentación para las futuras niñas ( en mi instragram @eldruida_lamota ) tenéis un post con todos los productos a utilizar en todo el proceso de crecimiento y floración. Volviendo a las crazy cookies, estamos en su recta final, osciló que como mucho 2 semanas más pero ya veremos cómo avanzan, llevan sin alimento unas semanas también y empieza a notarse en la falta de alimento. Pero ya solo agua, estrés hídrico cada riego menos cantidad de agua , las raíces abajo mueren , termina chupando el alimento por la parte superior de las raíces y ese estrés genera que la planta siga escupiendo tricomas. Esto es todo por ahora , la próxima semana actualizamos todo fumetillas.

Bien pues os presento el nuevo cultivo, 5 variedades de GB Strains de la mano de GB The Green Brand. Son unas Tropicanna Cookies, Apple Friter, Bannana Wafflez, Grand Daddy Purple y Miracle Alien Cookies. Les haremos transplante y la maceta definitiva sera de 7L voy a usar la tierra de marca Gramoflor en concreto la Gramomed es una tierra menos compacta, mas aireada y con hongos beneficiosos. Por ahora llevamos unas 16 horas desde que empezamos a germinar, pronto metere actualizacion de estado :D 05/04/22 -- Actualizacion de estado: Bien pues he subido mas fotos y os explico: Las mas grandes se empezaron a germinar el 22/03/22 y las mas peques 1 semana despues, el dia 29/03/22 Las GDP (grand daddy purple) no salieron y las descarte. Creo que pasaron mas frio que las demas y fue fallo mio. -- Actualizacion 11/04/22 Las mas grandes empiezo ya a contar 1º semana de crecimiento a partir de este lunes 11/04/22 y en 2 semanas maximo transplantamos a 7L definitivas

Afghan was a beaut and she would have stayed up longer if the rain had let up. The denseness of her buds is what we admire although it is also why she started to rot. The scent of her is strong and mouth watering. Overall we would grow her again outdoors, this was a strange year with the weather and it is unfortunate but we are quite sure every strain would rot just the same. Hopefully next year has a better balance but that is the way it grows outdoors. As for curing, it was not typical for us at all. First she was washed but Afghan was not trimmed nor was she properly managed, she hung for six days and went in a paper bag for moisture redistribution way to late. Aside from that we had to use a triple beam for an estimated weight and we were unable to get a wet weight so please take the number and outcome lightly. Bone dry does not mean she won’t be enjoyed, she will be made into hash and or edibles.

10/10 indoor grow, highly resistant strain, quick to flower after only 5 weeks of veg... light stress being too close to the lights caused fox tailing buds...live and learn!

Lollipopped the monster crop clones in the tent; defoliated everything a bit. Everyone seems to be moving alone nicely. Everything is showing pistils except the two bagseeds in the middle of the tent. Smells great in the closet. Between the two tents I have a 2x7’ area with three Sunraise lights running. I’m hoping to have a better harvest than last time. Last grow I only used the 2x4 tent with three plants and two lights yielded about 2 ounces per plant. I nute burned the hell out of them last time and I’ve been feeding about 1/4 the amount I was last grow. These plants seem much healthier and are much larger than my last grow. I have also become more comfortable with defoliation than I was previously. This time I am focusing on larger, denser buds. The plant in the solo cup is a Pineapple Express clone. It has not rooted but the stalk has turned white and it hasn’t been needing much humidity anymore. It is almost rooted; I have been spraying it with colloidal silver to try and Hermie it. If I can get it to Hermie I can separate it before the pollen sacs burst and selectively breed branches on my other plants to make feminized seeds. **growdairies is messing up; I cannot change the temperatures on substrate, night air or day air. Average temp for all is about 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

This week was pretty mellow. Not much done. Watered twice this week, with second watering made some compost tea I brewed up on Thursday. Plants seem very happy. Smell is getting a little stronger. Not sure I have smelled anything some grapey. Very strange doesn't even seem real...lol. Loving this grow!!!
