Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. I decided not to flush her, since I mixed her last food too strong and ended up with lots of leftover. She's also my only plant blooming at the moment, so I'll just keep using the leftover prepared water to top her buckets until she's done. ;) ----- The leaves turning yellow tell me I need to get ready to harvest her, probably this weekend. I'm sure I could do it already, but I'm really pushing for a couchlock...

Wedding glue from @fastbuds is flowering along nice an stacking up the trichromes as the gelato from @herbies is comming along a little slower as i feel like the gelato has a longer veg cycle by a week or 2 but shes comming along beautiful just like last time i grew her

He who stops is lost, as an old saying goes I don't know exactly what the origins are, so here's a new Zamnesia season. We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation. Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well. 100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots. ----- Our Ghost Train Haze were the first to open in water and the first to come out of the ground. Really very very fast both, one a little more after about 16 hours was open in water and after about 30 hours in total was out. Spectacle of nature. Some problems on one with attached seed and placenta read below how to solve, it is the miracle of life at birth you have to keep your eyes open. It is a sativa predominance if it does well we will send it to the AWC competition see what happens. WARNING: Placenta Problems ---- ALWAYS look very carefully at the seedlings, if the seed or the placenta prevent the opening of the cotyledon leaves the plant dies after a while. Remove it delicately as if it were a condom or almost. I apologize for the example but it gives the idea remove slowly delicately please. WARNING: If you choose biodegradable pots, choose the largest ones possible and not paper/cardboard ones, they are made of peat which is the main component of most of the soils we use. If you want to avoid transmitting vibrations to your neighbors, I recommend installing one of these gym floors under your growboxes, I did it and I also feel safer not to disturb. They are easily found on Amazon in different thicknesses, I took a gym model that is assembled like a puzzle, they are also found in children's shops, they are those floors that are assembled to make children play safely, or to train and to avoid vibrations from equipment or of any kind. Sigo haciendo defoliacion y poda bastante intensa, dejando solo las 2 o 3 hojas satélite de más arriba de cada rama principal, la idea es evitar plagas y sobre todo hongos por falta de circulación de aire

Been mad this week for the runtz, defoliation twice as the amount of vegetation that was covering bud sights, she's getting bigger and I love it 😀 happy growing and stay green ✌️ 💚 👌 😀

Heatwave is here:( Equipment is struggling. Hard to watch over grow room constantly. Surge protector tripping out as the equipment never cools down or has a break. A/C and dehumidifier running 24 hrs. Plus I had to hook up another a/c unit for the family. Got to keep them cool at night too. I’d feel bad if my ladies were cooler then my girls 😜 Got new lights but they were to intense even at the recommended distance. Just had to much light and to much overlapping made it to intense. I took out the 2 smaller 600’s and now just have the 2-2000’s in there but with the heatwave I had to dim them to 50% and now 25% incase I don’t get home in time from work and not able to open tent all the way as equipment is not doing the job in this heat:( also if the circuit trips out again then I don’t want the temps to sky rocket. Last few times it trip temps and humidity increased to 86F and 65% RH, mind you I corrected it within the hour of it happening each time, so not to bad and that’s at the top of the canopy and lower into it didn’t quite get that high as on the floor it only raised to 82F. And for my troubles I see what I believe is the start of burnt leaves:( I should have known better as the top growth seemed to be a bit lighter and stretchy:( I’ll have these lights better dialled in for next time!
