Hi all , it has been a steady week for the Zammi girls and I have only had to remove a few lower bits of popcorn amd a few leaves in each lady to allow airflow and a little more light through the canopy. I am only feeding megacrop now as it is mineral based and helps with the final crops taste and cure without worrying about the taste from salt based nutes. Bruce Banner is really showing some nice buds forming and should fulfill the long cola hopes too. Candy Rain is less productive on the smaller branch side of things but the mains that are forming look like they will be thick and long and not clusters which is always my hope with new strains. The less waste on final yield is the goal. Jealousy #1is still looking very happy and like the other ladies , is forming some potential spikes. #2 is keeping pace with her sister for height bit a bit less productive on the amount of colas. I did notice some.odd spots on the Candy rains leaves but thankfully a spill earlier in the week was the culprit as it caught the leaves a little. All in all these @Zamnesiaseeds are performing excellently so far with not one issue from seed to this point and i have really put them through their paces in the training period. Happy Easter Everyone! Time for an update During week 10 NEW LIGHT installed!! ViparSpectra XS2000. So excited! I think the plants are a little shocked from the change in light but hopefully they recover just fine. This week 3 of the plants definitely started showing some issues I have never had before. I started noticing rust spots on the upper top leaves of the plants which I believe was the consequence of the following... A.Nutrient lockout B. Soil PH too low from over fertilization C. Soil PH being too low due to the peat moss in the growing medium. I have purchased dolomite lime as an organic alternative to properly balance soil PH for my next grow. I did do a light flush with PHd water at 6.5. Plan for week 11 Going to be adding some Calcium to the soil during next watering to see if that helps new growth on the plants (Tuesday) At this point I will be just keeping an eye on more rust spots forming on the leaves. I have backed off on adding more P & PK at this time because I think I over fertilized last time. I am learning a lot still with every week of this grow. I know now how to dial in the nutrients and better amending soil first. Since my soil has peat moss I think that had a lot to do with the acidity as it breaks down. Really hoping these girls continue to finish out okay! Thinking that they will take the full 14/15 weeks at this point.

Start of week 9. Buds are filling out nicely, but trichomes are still mostly clear. Breeder says 8-10 weeks so im hoping they are ready in the next week. Both are starting to show a little bit of the leaves fading, not sure if its normal or the start of some sort of deficiency. Super strong smell on both phenos. I was expecting alot more in terms of weight but the quality dies look great. Cant wait! 💨💨

One more week of flush, the leaves are starting become yellow. The buds are getting fatter and frosty. Check out the video that i v made. One more thing fellas, i'v put two graphics showing an experience that i'v made measuring the ph and ec of runoff for some weeks: 1 - About PH: my soil always buffer about 1 pt of ph. Except in the day 08/08 that i made a full flush. 2 - About the EC: You can see in the start of the graphic some peaks. This is beacuse i was alternating between solution and tap water. After that i started aways put the solution in every watering and the graphic become more estable following the concentration of ec until the flush in 08/08. I dont know exactly why this buffer of ph and ec occurs. I think that it was because i'm recycling the soil over the grows. :] Next week, HARVESTTTT!

From sprout, I've been watering every 3-4 days. Been very consistent with this. Yellow tips been appearing. I think it could be Magnesium or Calcium deficiency. Hit it with some Calmag with iron.

3-24 Silica 1.5, cal/mag 6, micro 6, flowers 6, frost nugs 3, green sensation 1.5, slf 1.5, drops 1.5 ppm in 710 ph 6.0 Runoff 1375 ph 6.9 She still rockin 🤘 3-27 6ml cal/mag, 1.5 ml slf-100, 1.5ml drops of balance, 1/2 tsp recharge. She will get a full feed, next feed. Gave recharge b/c she only got cal/mag, so why not do some good while washing out salts. Ppm in 325 ph 6.0 Out 995 ph 7.0 See how she do 😁🤘

The final week is upon us. The buds glistening with trichomes, the smell is strong and pungent. Buds are tightening up and getting heavier, stems can barely hold the weight. Next week ✂️ I only gave plain water this week and added once 2ml/L of Flawless Finish

The girls are getting really thirsty this week, guzzling down 40 liters of nutrient mix like it's the last cocktail at a garden party. Plant One is showing off its glamorous purple buds, growing in size and looking almost too perfect. Pretty sure this diva is a Purple Punch variety, ready for its close-up! Plant Two has hit a growth spurt, shooting up over 90 cm with black and purple berry-sized buds decorating it like a botanical Christmas tree. Fingers crossed this beauty is an LSD-25 Auto! Plant Three is joining the growth parade, bursting with flowers and flaunting its health like a gym enthusiast after a protein shake. Plant Four is the late bloomer of the group, taking its sweet time but still looking fabulous. This week, I gave the girls a stylish trim to let the light shine through their fast-growing foliage. All in all, it’s been an uneventful week, and I’m thrilled with their progress. Keep it up, ladies!

09/01/22: The plants have definitely stopped growing taller and now are just concentrating all their energy into the bud production. Trichomes everywhere and all over the sugar leaves. Had a look at a sugar leaf under the microscope - not cloudy enough to be ready. Should be done in a few more weeks. Slowly but surely some of the stigmas are turning orange though no brown trichomes yet. the humidifier is doing a great job of keeping the grow tent under 50% humidity. Despite having a 4 inch carbon filter and fan the smell is slowly but surely creeping out of the grow tent - I can but imagine the smell if there was no carbon filter or fan. Not much more to do but wait until the browners trichomes come and more stigmas start to flatten and some turn orange.

These are doing pretty damn good for the most part. I figured out with the green buzz the only thing in bloom that raises ppm is the base bloom and the more PK which is good to know. Also been using lower ppm for the autos and they seem healthier than usual. These pics and the video were taken on Day 36.

Starting to see a lot of white hairs think they are getting ready for flower, extremely excited to see how these ladies do!
