24/03 watered AGAIN after 2 days with 1.5L 5.9 PH 1.5 EC, 5ml/L of Terra Bloom. So far im really happy with plagron. Just one bottle for grow and one for bloom and the plants look healthy and show no signs of deficencies. really happy with the product. Moreso than biobizz, where i used Grow, bloom, calmag, activera and topmax and still fought deficencies here and there. I also am conflicted about the trellis net. I like what it does but i think my tent is too full with plants or too small to really enjoy it growing-wise. I cant move the plants and its hard to reach them during watering. So i removed it again. its an on/off relationship with us :D I also did some more defoliation, PROMISE ITS THE LAST TIME. i took out the plants of the tent for it to better reach the insides of them and made some nice videos of their progress so far. ALSO: Tent smells really good and overwhelming when i open it! sadly, it escapes pretty fast so ill put "normal" smell on here. but its decent! Watered again on 27/03, 1.5l 5ml/L Terra Bloom 1ml/L Green Sensation, 5.8 PH 1.7 EC 29/03, 1.5l 5ml/L Terra Bloom 1ml/L Green Sensation, 5.7 PH 1.7 EC

😀 --- It was a very mixed week with lots of rain, some sun and a lot of wind. The Durban Poison is not particularly affected by this; it is tied to the stake, stands straight as a die and continues to swell its buds. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, I did find a wilted, twisted leaf in one of the flowers and immediately removed it along with the flower. Further examination revealed no other signs of mould. So it's not 100% mould-free... However, the weather is very conducive to mould at the moment. I'm looking forward to the harvest and then I'll need a lot of space for drying. The DP is a little smaller this year than last year, which is certainly due to the amount of fertiliser in the pot during the vegetation phase. The decisive factor will be whether defoliation will improve the harvest yield. Last year, I left more leaves on the plant. Thank you very much for visiting and best wishes for a mould-free week! 😀

Week 5: Transplant Time & Root Power! Oh man, this was one of those weeks! We transplanted all five phenos into bigger pots, and let me tell you, they’re thriving! (Check out the complete video episode for all the details 😉). The girls are looking amazing, all pretty much the same size for now, so I don’t have any favorites yet—but let’s see what the future holds! For photos, I used both my Nikon P900 and Sony A6000, with a bunch of lenses and filters to preserve the true colors—these LEDs are powerful! Current Setup & Conditions This week, they’re still chilling with their sisters in the big tent, but in about a week, they’ll be moving into the TrolMaster ecosystem for even better environmental control. Watering: pH 6.06, EC 0.96 Temperature: A bit cold , but it is what it is. We’re facing some freezing outdoor temps (as shown last week in the frosty veggie garden pics!), yet these Runtz are holding strong like true champions. 💪❄️ Nutrition: Still on the Aptus Clean Program, with: Regulator System Clean RO Water Conditioner All-in-One Liquid Root Development: The Real MVP! Let’s go deep on roots! The mycorrhizae in the Pro-Mix soil has been working its magic, and I’m still boosting them further with a touch of Aptus Holland Mycor Mix. The root development on this transplant was insane—super white, healthy, and ready to explode with growth. What Are Mycorrhizae? The word “mycorrhiza” comes from Greek: • Myco- meaning fungus • Rhiza- meaning root Mycorrhizae are a type of beneficial fungi that form a symbiotic (mutually beneficial) relationship with plant roots. These fungi extend far beyond the root zone, creating an underground network that helps plants absorb water, nutrients, and improve overall health. This is not a single species but rather a whole category of fungi, mainly divided into: 1. Ectomycorrhizae – Live on the outside of plant roots, forming a sheath around them. Common in trees like pines and oaks. 2. Endomycorrhizae (Arbuscular Mycorrhizae, AMF) – The most beneficial for most crops and cannabis. These penetrate root cells, forming structures inside the roots that exchange nutrients. Where Are Mycorrhizae Found in Nature? Mycorrhizae naturally occur in forests, grasslands, and undisturbed soils worldwide. They play a crucial role in maintaining ecosystem balance by helping plants access nutrients from the soil. In a natural environment, plants are constantly forming relationships with these fungi. However, in modern agriculture, excessive tilling, chemical fertilizers, and fungicides have reduced their populations, making supplementation necessary in many cases. How Do Mycorrhizae Work? Once mycorrhizae colonize a plant’s roots, they start forming an underground fungal network called the mycelium. This network extends the plant’s reach into the soil, acting as a second root system. Benefits of Mycorrhizae: ✅ Enhanced Nutrient Uptake – Mycorrhizae help plants absorb phosphorus, nitrogen, and micronutrients that would otherwise be unavailable. ✅ Improved Water Absorption – The fungal network can reach deeper into the soil than roots alone, helping plants survive drought conditions. ✅ Stronger, Healthier Roots – They promote thicker, more robust root systems, reducing transplant shock. ✅ Better Soil Structure – They produce glomalin, a protein that improves soil aggregation and helps retain moisture. ✅ Natural Pest & Disease Resistance – Healthy plants with strong mycorrhizal relationships tend to be more resistant to soil-borne pathogens. How Mycorrhizae Help in Cannabis & Gardening In controlled growing environments, using mycorrhizae is a game-changer. Since cannabis relies heavily on phosphorus, the enhanced nutrient uptake provided by mycorrhizae is especially beneficial. Best ways to apply mycorrhizae: • At transplant – Dust roots with mycorrhizae powder or mix into soil. • As a soil drench – Some liquid formulations allow fungi to colonize even after planting. • Mix into your growing medium – Using pre-amended soil like Pro-Mix HP Mycorrhizae ensures roots have early access. Pro Tip: Mycorrhizae need living roots to survive! Avoid using synthetic fungicides or excessive chemical fertilizers, as they can kill the fungi. Think of mycorrhizae as a natural root booster. They’ve been around for hundreds of millions of years, helping plants thrive in all conditions. By using them in cultivation, you’re mimicking nature, ensuring your plants grow stronger, healthier, and more resilient. When used correctly, mycorrhizae can increase yields, improve plant health, and reduce the need for synthetic inputs—making them a must-have for any serious grower! Can’t wait to see how they’ll look in the next transplant! I made a few changes to my improvised photo studio, including a pink background for now—because why not? Let’s keep things fun and full of color! 🌸📸 Massive gratitude to all our sponsors and of course, a special shoutout to Zamnesia, Plagron, and Grow Diaries for making this amazing cup happen. 🙌 And to the community—followers, supporters, lovers, haters—I love you all! ❤️ Let’s keep pushing forward, learning, and making this grow legendary! 1st of December harvest 10 Days dry time 31 days in curing phase (as im writing this) Dry time was 9-10 days (Depending on the size of the buds) Humidity 51% RH Temperature 15C https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBNeJTwUOFY&ab_channel=MedicinalGenomics (Found a lot of good science to back up a dry and cure method) Curing is still an ongoing process and the bud gets better with time. But as in now, 31 days later in cure, the buds taste fantastic, smell amazing and the smoke feels smooth. I am still amazed how the ladies bounced back after a chaotic 2-3 first week of veg. Big thanks to everyone who have been supporting, a very good learning experience. THC 22%

day 73 I was not ready for all this! 🤣🤣 they literally exploded, even though the buds of El Patron are much thinner than the purple queen I have in my tent, I had to tie them up so that the weight of the flowers didn't break the branches. I have to say that 6 photoperiods are too many for my 1m x 1m x 2m tent. in addition to this I have noticed that they are very hungry. like me and give me some advice. thanks for stopping by, have a nice day and happy cultivation 💚🌳💚🌳💚🌳

It's time to dive into the exciting world of my Purple Lemonade FF in week 6 of vegetation. This gal continues to shine and perform like a true champion, making me proud with every passing day. Last week, I introduced the scrog net, and oh boy, did she respond with enthusiasm! It's like witnessing a botanical ballet, as her branches gracefully weave through the net, creating a lush and even canopy. I sometimes catch myself humming "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies" while tending to her. The scrog net truly is a masterpiece, guiding her growth and ensuring maximum light penetration. It's like a support system for her budding ambitions. Now, let's talk about IPM, or Integrated Pest Management, because every grower knows that prevention is key. I noticed some unwanted visitors in the form of thrips and fungus gnats, so it was time to take action. But hey, I prefer a natural approach, so I called upon some tiny allies to join the battle. I introduced nematodes to the soil, those microscopic warriors who feast on the unsuspecting pests. It's like having a secret army of predators ready to defend my precious plants. But that's not all! To further bolster the defenses, I invited some other beneficial insects to the party. Spical Ulti Mite and Swirskii, the mighty protectors, joined forces to keep those unwanted critters in check. It's like an epic showdown between the good, the bad, and the buggy. Who needs a superhero movie when you have a living ecosystem fighting the good fight? In a way, the scrog net and the IPM predators are like my own version of the Avengers. They work together, each with their unique skills, to create a harmonious and pest-free environment. It's a sight to behold, and I can't help but feel like the proud commander of this green army. So, my fellow growers, remember the power of the scrog net and the importance of an effective IPM strategy. Together, they ensure a thriving canopy and a fortress protected from unwanted pests. Let's continue this journey with enthusiasm, love, and a touch of humor. Stay tuned for the next update, where we'll unravel more tales from the flourishing world of my Purple Lemonade FF. Until then, keep dancing with your plants and let nature's superheroes be your allies! Expect an extremely enjoyable high that boosts your mood while deeply relaxing your whole body and getting rid of muscle pain. This meticulous cross produces up to 550 g/m2 of some of the most beautiful purple buds, with pinkish and reddish hues that will catch everyone’s attention. The beautiful purple buds are ready for harvest in 7-8 weeks and come hand-in-hand with unbelievably sugary citrus terps that are just as refreshing as a cold lemonade on a hot Summer day. It’s the ideal variety for the sweet-tooth stoner seeking strains that deliver both in quality and quantity of resin. Bud Description Purple Lemonade FF grows chunky, spade-shaped buds that boast a whole range of pinkish-purple hues with rich, dark orange pistils shooting out of every direction. This variety stands out for the, oftentimes, lilac trichomes that give them a gorgeous pink tint and make for outstanding purple concentrates. The buds give off a delicious tart lemon aroma that reveals a sweeter, more fruity scent as you break the buds open. Definitely a must for flavor chasers and those looking for pungent terpene profiles. Smoke Reports Purple Lemonade FF offers an effect that’s just as unique as the flavor. Expect a potent uplifting high that gives you that energy boost you need to get things done while 100% happy and stress-free. This is an excellent all-day smoke as it not only increases energy but can also help combat chronic pain, migraine and stress. Plant Appearance This feminized photoperiod variety develops a thick and strong structure, growing a medium-sized main cola with multiple shorter side branches, typical of hybrid strains. Purple Lemonade FF develops fairly short internodal spacing with gorgeous purple buds growing stacked on top of each other, making it the perfect choice for growers of all levels looking to get lots and lots of top-shelf purple weed, as this variety can produce up to 550 g/m2 in a 7-8 week flower cycle. Grow Tips This is a super fast feminized photoperiod version that takes approximately 7-8 weeks to flower with a 5-week vegetation cycle,, this means you can have faster harvests by shortening the veg cycle or have a longer veg cycle for bigger yields. Purple Lemonade FF (Fastflowering) makes for a great candidate for growers of all levels as it’s a vigorous strain that will thrive with basic maintenance both indoors and outdoors. This is a resin powerhouse so make sure to have your trim bin close by as all the resinous sugar leaves will make for the most mouth-watering hash and extracts. Flavor Expect a long-lasting citrus zest that taste just like it smells. Purple Lemonade FF reeks of a delicious blend of sweet fruits and tart citrus that’ll make your mouth water. On the inhale, expect sour flavors that taste just like lemon candy with hints of orange and a really subtle earthy background. And on the exhale, the citrus flavors open up, giving place to a more sugary berry fruitiness that leaves your whole mouth tasting like an extremely sweet weed-infused lemonade.

Still working away to fix the nute deficiency I came into just after new years. Dense buds are still forming and calyx swell is beginning on original internodes. The sweet smell is like a brick wall when opening the tent. Keeping humidity down by opening a port on the side of my tent and adding an extra fan works well. This has been a great learning grow for me. I'm amazed the number of tops this strain has been able to produce. Next time I will be using air pots or something similar.

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. Thank you so much for reading! Peace.

5/23/21 - First day of flower. In the pictures we did a flush on both plants and let all the runoff stop. We cut off the small, insignificant grow sites so the upper big flowers bud. We put the plants back in the closet after flush and changed the light to a 12/12 cycle. 5/24/21 - The soil is still pretty wet from the flush so I didn’t feed today. They are looking good! 5/25/21 - Watered with the nutrients today. They are looking good. A couple weeks and the flowers should open. 5/26/21 - Fed with nutrients as I will everyday until flush. They are responding to the bloom light and light schedule. 5/27/21 - Fed them today. See pictures. They are looking good! I might lower the light some more and see how they do. 5/28/21 - Watered with the nutrients. The plants are slowly opening up. It’s exciting to see. The smell is normal now. 5/29/21 - Fed both plants today. They are drinking a lot more. Tomorrow will be week 2 of flower :)

I saw lots of development this week. I've top dressed with bat guano and alfalfa meal this grow to fortify the soil. They seem to like the advanced nutrients so far as well. It's getting a little smelly in the tent💪🏾

01/26 No pictures this week because I'm doing multiple days of time lapse photos. Next week should have some yummy vids and photos. Plants have been doing well. Topped all of the plants between 01/20-01/23, except Berry, which will get topped tonight. Berry has had a very strong rebound. Still very pale in comparison, but is showing strong vertical growth. Vigorous growth of lateral shoots in most plants except for one of the WW. (iirc, it's WW 3) The tallest WW with the widest node spacing has had extremely poor lateral growth, even at the topping site. Likely another 2-4 weeks before mothers will be a clone-ready, based on observed growth. I prefer DWC and haven't done soil for a very long time. It's shocking how much slower growth rate is in soil. A good thing in the long run, because pruning a mother plant in hydro is a PITA. At the same time, I want these plants to hurry up so I can toss clones into a SOG test. My plan is to take 2 clones of 4 plants and flower them all in one 14-gallon tote. 01/28 I had some issues with the timelapse because I didn't set the intervalometer correctly and it eventually went weird after running for over 36 hours and started taking pics every 5 minutes. Things have been fixed and I have add a video from 01/24. I am going to trim some fan leaves tonight and decided to flower 2 cuttings each from the two Bananas.
