cannabisplanner Day 1 - Seedling PhaseWhite Widow by RQS is officially in the ground!Starting in a Solo Cup under the Viparspectra XS1500 Pro (24/0 schedule, 12 DLI).For this grow, I’m using my custom-built Cannabis Planner app connected to ESP32 & Bluetooth sensors to keep environment and soil parameters dialed in. Day 1 target environmental parameters are set to: 23°C, 70% RH, and a VPD of 0.84 kPa.

cannabisplanner The seedling stretched quite a bit early on, and after a water droplet bent it over, I decided to do an early transplant into the final 10L fabric pot. Buried the stretched stem deep to give it solid support. The living soil was pre-wetted to activate microbes, so the soil moisture is currently sitting at 40% with an EC of 933 µS/cm. Temps are at 23.7°C (74.6°F) and RH at 70%, keeping VPD around 0.87 kPa.
Showing a bit of transplant shock right now, so watering is completely on hold to let the soil dry out and allow the roots to breathe and recover under an 18/6 light schedule.

cannabisplanner Quick update on the White Widow for Days 8 through 15. The past week was a real battle for survival after some rough transplant shock early on. She had to sacrifice her first set of leaves to stay alive and build out her roots, but keeping things strictly minimalist with pure water and a stable environment pulled her through.
We kept ambient conditions dialed in around 23.6°C and 70% RH, holding VPD right at 0.85 kPa on pure living soil with 34% soil moisture. Now that the root system has settled and a fresh, bright green second node is growing fast, I’ve bumped the DLI up from 12 to 16 to give her more energy for early veg.
The shock phase is officially over, and she is finally ready to take off. Time-lapse tracking with live environmental data is running continuously.

cannabisplanner Quick update on the White Widow for Days 16 through 22.
Last week she was fighting for survival after transplant shock. This week the Phoenix rose. The root system has settled, and she has pushed out multiple fresh sets of bright green, serrated leaves with new growth stacking up at the top. The old, damaged first leaves are fading, which is normal now that the plant no longer needs them.
Still strictly minimalist: pure water, pure living soil, stable environment. No nutrients, no stress techniques, just letting her build momentum.
Ambient conditions: 23.5°C and 70% RH, VPD at 0.84 kPa
Soil moisture: 30%
DLI: 20 (raised from 16 last week)
Shock phase: over. Early veg: officially on.
The Day 9 to Day 22 time-lapse is attached below. This one is a pure growth time-lapse without the environmental data overlay.
