No problems to report, fantastic grow, girls full of life. Lots of work to bend and rearrange plant's shape every day, sometimes twice a day. Defoliation. Plant is responding fantastically. My Royal Gorilla has one branch with an uncommon mutation. The stem from 4th internode is flat and not circular. From the 7th node, although now plant shows alternate growth, two perfectly identical branches are growing closer to each other, a twin bud mutation. Precisely for this mutation I decided to apply a little supercropping by bending the branch with a flat section at 90 °. I hope it wasn't late and the double buds will recover. #update August 6, twin buds perfectly recovered from supercropping so I can hope for a monster bud!

Built a new small veg setup for my clones that I took off my Blue Dream... likely running other strains next time but I wanted to test my cloning setup, and ended up with 100% success rate on them. Every plant is happy and growing well! I'll be pushing my nutes to the top of the recommended feeding chart to try and get as much out of the plants as I can.

Hello fellow growers👋, 5th week for the Double Grape. 🍇🍇 She is still doing great after the topping, healthily branching from all sides. I have to adjust the wires every day (sometimes twice a day). She is growing fast. Can't wait to see her develop her colas and bud sites. Otherwise, nothing much to report, I am still sticking to the HESI feeding schedule. May9 May10 - growth around where I topped is flying - i've raised up the light another bit May11 - 250ml water May12 May13 - 250ml with 0.5ml of biobizz grow, growth was mad there around the 10th, but its a bit slower now May14 - took out all of the bigger leaves, removed some of the smaller leaves along some of the stronger looking lower branches to try to encourage more growth at the end bud site and used some flexible garden wire to do some LST May15 - watched a video about topping... decided to have a go

Well i broke a branch right off Bubba Cheese cake #2 stem by slightly trying to move a 3 gal pot lol ouchie They will both need supports fyi. Anywho, I either out did myself or these are the longest trichomes I've seen. #2 is bigger n frostier. #1 smells like freaken candy...and i mean the good colors you save for last lol. #2 is more muted but creamier and maybe hopefully some cheese. Increased exaust fan speed, Increased oscillating fan speed. Reduced lights to 11/13. Adjusted far red, adjusted morning to come on later at night and turned off the heat mat (yes i had a heat mat lol). That should hopefully bring out any colors but it seems this one may stay green af. Another grower is going to week 20 i think in flower and still no color change....in my experience that means this wont taste anything like earthy wood anthocyanins.

Water only! Except for the dry mother in the back 😂😂 I did eventually water her by the way! Harvesting is coming soon, just waiting for more amber trichomes. The large pot really takes long to mature 😂

Day 125. Chop day. Report will follow, maybe smoke quality will be that only positive thing in all dirt that this strain brought me .... Dry triming chosen. Plants where such crap that never got names even, so Smaller and Taller plant is chopped. Other two went hermie.

As you can see, I don't do heavy defoliation on my plants as I think it's not natural to shock them like that. I don't give a flying f@ck about yield. My philosophy is turned towards good flavors before all and I like to follow plants development in more natural way when comes to defoliation. I believe that plant will always adapt and focus on where energy comes from, and in indoor grows we all know that bottoms will get bleachy as we enter late flowering. On the other side, nobody wants mids and small buds, so yes, of course I remove bottoms, but only first few nodes and not in a way of lollipopping or something like that. I'm just trying to be in balance with natural process of plant development at all times. I'm not saying defoliation is wrong, but since I never grow the same cultivar twice, it's way safer to observe their natural behaviour, instead of forcing techniquies other growers are claiming to be "the best". With that being said, my plants are exploding from happiness, as you can see. I got two of more indica leaning phenotypes and two taller - more sativa alike specimens. But all have a distinctive OG structure and smell is getting super intense. It smells diesel and chem like no run before. It's the reason why I'm growing it in the first place. And what better way to try out the true OG than from the original creators of White Fire OG. Yes. If you didn't know Terence and Philip, in collab with Rascal, the real OG's, also known as Payaso and Cannabis Gardener, are behind the legendary OG cross and all the rest are just white labeling this famous cross. Know your genetics, brothers and sisters. There are too many copycats out there, so try to show respect to the origins. Noone can make a patent on a certain cultivar, but we as consumers, need to know who are we going to support in the future. Breeding is art and I like to pay respect to those who actually do the work of breeding. Just look at the Blue Dream for instance. Do we actually know who stands behind this cross and who has the original tissue of this genetics? Ask Google a little bit, dig in, and you'll be shocked. Show respect to those who truly deserve one. So, my "Skunk" puppies are always curious to see what I am doing when I am gardening. They are mischievous and would destroy my plants if I didn't have a fence around them. Miss Skunk grew 4 inches this week! And my two new branches grew a lot, too. I took a picture of my hand behind one of the lateral growths. I think it is doing very well. They grew about 1 inch this week. I started nutrients this week.

Here we are with the 5th (and last) week of veg! Finally I transplant the Queens in their definitive home. Queen #5 wants to be different, so she decide to top herself in a particular way. I really like her shape and all the branches all around! I have to change the light setup for the flowering stage, but I don't know if the box will be able to hold up two cooltube reflectors: I hope it won't implode for too much weight. These are in good shape, the purple candy paint is short but bushy I might have to give her a booster seat. The mac x's are the biggest and most promising.
