WEEK 2 DAY 14 Since last week the babies have taken off! They didn’t have much light until yesterday when I added another 100w led and since then I’ve seen a huge difference ! They are looking super healthy the roots said fuck the pot and grew right through it I’m actually super interested in seeing how these grow up.. The 3 clones that were separate last week are now moved into one single pot to further develop the experiment. They are on the same feed as the mother with flora grow/micro/bloom and cal-mag . And In the last picture you can see my ghettos man way of cloning .. going to see which 2 out of 4 are better rooted and I will move those to a pot in about a week or so. ***Update*** have switched 2 of 3 to 5 gals will do the other one as soon as I get more coco..looking to veg maybe another 2 weeks then going to flip. Recently acquired LED light for my veg room so have 250w hps n 300w LED..ladies seem to be loving it.

Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Due to the different genetics not all plants wil be ready at the same time. I do my best to keep RM and RH as low as possible and i give medium to high dosages of nutrients. Once a week i administer amino acids. The plants are realising really strong aroma.

So far so good. She seems to have survived the short drought and is standing up straight again. She hasn't really grown in size, so I'm still a bit worried the tap root might've suffered some drought stress or even got damaged. But other than that, she looks good - healthy and vital. I've added some mulch (finally!!) which, besides benefitting the microbes in the soil, should also slow down the evaporation process and help with moisture control. Topping her on Day 15 is a bit of a gamble, maybe it was a little early - removing the sun-sail fan leafs is quite a risk as well, so I'll have to observe her even more cautiously than I do anyways. Hope she bounces back alright!
