One more week of veg then flipping the lights to 12/12. I've been so busy with work and the outside garden that I haven't had much time to maintain these plants but they are doing very well considering. I've topped all plants and pulled branches down to spread canopy. A lot of defoliation has been needed along the way and I've done some lst and hst also. Once I flip the lights they should fill the tent up nicely. Being conservative with the nutrients. I will bump up a little bit once they are in flower.

Helllooo 🌿 schönen Sonntag zusammen =) 🌱 Wochenupdate Eine ziemlich ruhige Woche alles in allem 🙂 Montags habe ich mich entschieden, auf 12/12 zu stellen 🌙✨ Ich hatte eigentlich überlegt, noch eine Woche länger Veg laufen zu lassen, nur wurde mir in den Kommentaren (wofür ich wirklich dankbar bin 🙏) dazu geraten, den Stretch zu respektieren, und das wollte ich dann auch besser mal machen 😄😄 Habe persönlich keinerlei Erfahrung mit den Genetiken, da freut man sich über jeden Tipp 🌱😊 Mittlerweile ist es auch nur noch ein Teppich =D.. Daher ist es mir leider nicht mehr möglich, jede Plant einzeln zu zeigen...Ab der Blüte dann wieder =D 🌿 Pflanzenstatus & Training Aktuell schiebe ich jeden Tag die Triebe, die über das Netz gehen, wieder drunter und lenke sie in die gewünschte Richtung =) Das Ganze mache ich 2-mal am Tag – einmal Pflanzen-Morgen und einmal Abend. Hab immer das Gefühl, dass sich überhaupt nichts tut dadurch 😅 Aber man kann schon einigermaßen erkennen auf den Bildern, dass sie sich langsam Richtung Ränder schieben 📈 Darüber hinaus entferne ich hier und da größere Blätter, die zu viele Triebe beschatten. Die Sides ziehe ich per Hand immer etwas aus der Mitte heraus =) 🔧 System Läuft alles wie gehabt =) Die regelmäßigen Top-Ups halten die Nährstofflösung auf Kurs 💧📊 Dabei lasse ich den EC um etwa 0.10 absinken, bevor ich ihn wieder hochziehe. Ich dosiere die Top-Ups aktuell etwas höher, da sich in den Messdaten ein erhöhter Nährstoffverbrauch abgezeichnet hat, was ja auch zum zeitlichen Entwicklungsstand passt 🌱🔥 Was meinen inneren Monk echt befriedigt, ist, dass es immer dieselben Intervalle mit denselben Werten sind – ich liebe so Shit 😄📏 Von der letzten Shift-Lösung aus arbeite ich aktuell mit Erhaltungs-Top-Ups, die den täglichen Verbrauch ausgleichen und den EC konstant im Zielbereich halten 💧⚖️😊 Theorie hat sich auf jeden Fall bestätigt: Ca/Mg ist durch und es läuft bzw. blubbert wie es soll 🫧🙂 Da ich schon auch ein bisschen lazy bin hier und da 😅, ist nur jede 2. Lösung eine größere Menge (20–30 Liter). Dazwischen gebe ich immer eine konzentrierte 5-Liter-Lösung, um den EC konstant zu halten💧 Ich denke aber auch, dass das so oder so ein guter Ansatz ist, damit die biologische Aktivität im System stabil bleibt und nicht ständig durcheinandergebracht wird =) Licht im Canopy ist nach wie vor 800 PPFD, 1.0 kPa VPD, und mit den zwei CO₂-Bags kommen wir im Durchschnitt auf etwa 700-800 ppm 🌿 🔮 Ausblick Training, Training, Training 💪🌱 Aufbau der Canopy, Füllen der Ränder + selektives Entfernen von größeren Blättern 🍃✂️ Freu mich auf die große Defo, wenn der Stretch durch ist – unterm Netz ist echt ein Urwald 😂🌴 💚 Special Mention Ich bin so froh, hier endlich mal reinschreiben zu können, dass sie sich gut macht 😄💚 Sie hat mir verziehen. Klar, sie ist nicht so groß wie ihre Schwestern, aber sie streckt sich auch Richtung Netz und sieht alles in allem wieder vital aus 🌿💪 – nur eben etwas kleiner. This week i start turn on dehumidifier to bring humidity 65% to 50-60%

I transplanted the Blackberry Kush a little early so it could start benefitting from the auto watering. For my grow set up I am not worried about overwatering, and I think the root development will be just fine in my tall, 2.5g pots. I will keep dialing up the nutrients carefully, as the Blackberry Kush is showing some minor development issues which I hope will self resolve (the Fastbuds Blackberry is doing great in the same conditions). I will have a lot more updates during the week, happy growing everyone and stay safe! 👍🌱 Day 10: started adding silicon and rapid start (and a little pH down) and upped the trio slightly. In case anyone is wondering if there is any perlite, there is! It's just chilling under layer of pure coco. Right now there is 3l of perlite per pot, with the highest concentration lowest in the pot where drainage will be needed the most. Day 12: I lowered lights to 20 inches which is my vegitative growth hanging height generally. Thanks to those who responded to my grow question regarding this plant's leaf deformaties, the general consensus was that if the other parameters are good and this is the only plant showing symptoms it is likely genetic. This is also what I have suspected, as the only other plant I have had display these characteristics was a Black Cream almost a year ago grown with a completely different growing style. That plant grew alright (although slightly behind it's peers) so I hope this one can do well once it starts taking off! Day 13: I am running low on calimagic as a cal mag source, so I switched out to Greenleaf nutrients cal-mag pro that I have a bag of (that will last forever!) It has a bit more nitrogen, which is good for the current plant stage, so I can save the calimagic for flowering if the plants don't mind the switch. I mix about .5-.6 EC worth of Cal mag, which is about .625tsp per 5 gallons of the Cal mag pro. I will have this reflected on tomorrow's diary entry.

ITA: siamo giunti quasi alla fine del viaggio. Ho tolto tutta la soluzione presente nel sistema e l'ho sostituita con acqua del rubinetto senza sali. Le piante resteranno così dai 2 ai 4 giorni per il lavaggio delle radici. Insieme all'acqua ho utilizzato Flora Kleen (ex flush kleen) della GHE, a concentrazione di 2ml al litro. La raccolta si avvicina!!!! edit: ho finalmente raccolto le piante ma che fatica ragazzi! In 4 ci abbiamo messo tutto il pomeriggio e le prime ore della sera per finire di trimmare!! Ho tagliato le piante ramo per ramo in modo che l'essiccazione sia più veloce. Ho appeso i rami in una box 80x80cm con all'interno un deumidificatore e un estrattore da 10mm. L'umidità oscilla dal 48% al 55%, direi ottimo! Aggiornerò il diario dopo aver pesato le cime secche e dopo alcune settimane di concia per la smoke review ENG: we have almost reached the end of the journey. I removed all the solution in the system and replaced it with salt-free tap water. The plants will remain in this way for 2 to 4 days for washing the roots. Together with the water I used Flora Kleen (formerly flush kleen) from GHE, at a concentration of 2ml per liter. The harvest is approaching !!!! edit: I finally harvested the plants but what an effort guys! 4 of us took the whole afternoon and early evening to finish trimming !! I cut the plants branch by branch so that drying is faster. I hung the branches in an 80x80cm box with a 10mm dehumidifier and extractor inside. The humidity ranges from 48% to 55%, I would say excellent! I will update the diary after weighing the dry buds and after a few weeks of tanning for the smoke review

(I’m starting to try timelapsed videos of growth so lmk what you think) So I’ve added a little lst to #1(the one I topped) just to capitalize on it I guess. But they’re all doing really well at the end of week 4. I’m trying to get better with photos and documenting so bare with me but as for #3, I’m really impressed with how fast she’s gotten bushy and with how she’s taken to lst. I’m doing different things to different plants to see what I like and what works for me. #4 is my control and I’ve done nothing but water and feed and honestly, she’s still doing just fine 💪🏻

First week of flowering. Girls are super happy. And drink a lot. I very much prefer the lower plant count with 8 plants. And I’m probably not going to go back to more than 9 plants. Perhaps will even try 6 or 7. 12 or 16 was a bit of overkill. Maybe with super short veg it has its place. 26.01 first day of flower.

Unfortunately, I had to correct the first week of flowering as the last week of the growth phase because I didn't reset my timer and the lamp therefore ran at 18/6 for another 5 days Some plants are a little lighter, some are a little darker, they all received about the same water I'm assuming it's phenos Otherwise they look really good and grow into the net. The growth is really satisfying especially for the one that germinated first…my first guess is that it’s a male. I should know in the next two weeks as they’re both regular seeds. Can anyone else guess the male?

Ordered a scale the other day so should have some more numbers tomorrow! Not going to sample anything until I get the scale, then I'll update with some more details.

The plant of course is much more smaller with the restricted root zone causing a bonsai effect. However, she performed really well under the circumstances with a relatively large yield all things considered. I usually smoke high CBD but was very impressed with this high. Let's see how it goes after spending more time under the influence. Review... Growing in the solo cup sized container proved to be much more challenging than a regular grow. The plant soon became stressed dealing with the tiny root zone making everything hyper sensitive. The first issue was showing as tip burn even though the ppm was kept in the 650-850 range. Then the leaves showed a general yellowing overall specially showing at the bottom fan leaves. At this point I was changing the nutrient solution every 2-3 days trying different nutrient brands and concentrations seemingly without much success. It was a nerve wracking period which ultimately lead me back to General Hydroponics with amendments. I did learn that the plant can weather the storm even with less than perfect vegetative leaves while she focuses all her energies into calyx production. It’s was upsetting to see less than stellar health but eventually all the leaves drop and the flowers power on seemingly without issue. The cascading diamond structure developed as a result of a couple broken branches that occurred during the training process in an effort broaden the plant profile with wider lateral spacing. Although initially upset when the fractured branches that withered after being bandaged up and . After removal of said branches it was exciting to see the new possibilities. The cascade formation called for additional side lighting to maintain uniform bud size all the way down the front lower end of the plant. I was looking to create a stadium like effect. The experience of operating the visual hydroponic unit called for a number of practical adjustments along the way. Although initially, very excited with the system concept as an integrated design with nutrient solution supply and gravity drain through the pump, with the air supply inside the pipe with the air bubbler acting as the drain/root filter... in hindsight, obviously, it would not work as the root mass became denser and denser. The first issue, as the path of least resistance, the air was forced back down the nutrient supply pipe. This prevented the pump from priming itself and subsequently no nutrient solution delivery was even possible. As a result, the original air stone was left in place to prevent the roots from entering the nutrient tank and a new bubbler stone simply added to the tank itself. Although the original idea was for the air to be continuously pumping directly through the roots, the flood and drain would actually be just as good when drawing the fresh air in and out with each pump/drain of nutrient solution. The ON cycle was initially set to 10 seconds which eventually became 30 seconds as the roots mass grew denser. This proved to be too unreliable as the fill level was no longer consistent which required constant monitoring to be sure that there was no flooding over and above the container lid. It which case, a simple feeder tube to the top of the root zone was the best option. The ON cycle was set to 5 seconds with a 15 minute OFF interval. Overall the biggest concern was the timer itself, which had several bad reviews for malfunctions with growers losing their plants. However, I have no choice as this was one of the few timers that was capable of cycling down to the second but it all workout fine in that regard… no problem. Was it a perfect grow?... no, definitely not. However, as a relative beginner, it was definitely a great learning experience. Mostly, I need to work on the nutrient blend and concentration. For more control, a backup tank with float valve delivery to maintain the water level for this particular system would be a good idea as well.

Growing nicely. Not the tallest, not the shortest just somewhere in the middle. Looking healthy & happy. I've read great reviews on this strain, I hope it lives up to it.
