Que pasa familia, vamos con la octava semana de floración de estas Black muffin F1 de Sweetseeds. Vamos al lío, me quede con 3 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros y el trasplante se realizó correctamente. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Tienen un aroma bastante fuerte, las flores parece que están prietas y están repletas de tricomas. Las jodidas han estirado bastante, ya veremos que ocurre como termina todo. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Day 65, 17th of November 2020: Welcome back at the beggining of the 3rd week of flowering. They seem to be stopped streching and now concentrating on buds. All of them are gorgeous..... The 2 Zamnesia genetics Gelato and Kalini Asia are pretty and buds are forming nicely. Kalini Asia might strech a bit more but not long. The Sweet Seed ones are really nice and I am so happy because Red Hot Cookies is already getting red.... pistils and around the leaves.. I hope the same happens to the Red Mandarine and Tropicanna Poison also. They are so gorgeous. They calmed down I don't expect more strech. Fertilization still the same every 2nd day with the ratio and mix above. Some lollipopping (Defoliation) is also done. I removed all the LST the plant remains in the same shape from now. The lamp is on 11.30 min and off 12.30 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -30 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.30 pm.

Week 2 of flowering phase Critical royal queen seeds Hallo fellow growers here we go Day 8 flowering phase looking good amazing to see them developing up close day by day . Today no watering maybe some defoliation below the net but that it cool beans 😎 Day 9 Flowering phase Didn't see the plant for 20hours and jebus they grew over night they went up 15cm . But they are looking healthy Gave them almost 1.2L nutrients was getting dry that was it . Day 10 flowering phase Today adjust some things in the tent it didn't feel a right not to happy with tents quality 🤔 also it's very challenging to get to back corner plant. I need to fully open the tent. There are no peak holes ore other opening to get to the back . And it feels unstable. The Plants i only did some final defoliation and gave 0.5l normal water Day 11 flowering phase Plants looking okay to me. Didn't water them today want to let them dry out some . I think because of all the watering i am Struggling with the humidity in the tent . It is around 80% and that little dehumidifier don't do jack patetoe . Def need to think of a solution for later in the weeks Day 12 Flowering phase Gave nuts water and put a 2nd ScrOG up a little higher . But it's seems to be oké i got still some real estate left. I think that i am not giving them any water what so ever . I need to learn to let them dry out some . Also a bit struggling with humidity in the tent . I am trying to give them water right before light on ore right after light out . Day8: First day of the new week. I assume still pretty much focusing on roots, as the top didn't really do much today. Day9: Nothing special. But she's growing Day10: Still roots, it seems. Very little happening up top. Day11: Effort being put into growing the top leaves. They increased in size. I assume that the next node will start tomorrow - kicking off the switch into Veg. Day12: Next node already showing :D Day13: I put in a humidifier and changed the cycle of the extractor to keep more moisture in the growbox. My humidity was way too low. Day14: This time the humidity was too high. It was sitting at around 95% when the lights went on.

Pretty simple first week! Seed took 3 nights for the taproot to pop and it was planted in its final pot on day 4. On day 6, it finally popped through the soil and on day 7 the little sprout is starting to grow up. There is a small piece of seed casing left attached. Going to leave it for a day or two. The critical soma looks very healthy. I think she will be ready in 2 big weeks. The two Dinamed look also good but may be a few days more. Trichomes are clear, aren't it? Thx Edit: a little bit to much nutrients for the critical but it's now OK.

This was an interesting harvest. Everything was going great and the buds/trichomes were still piling on, when suddenly almost overnight plant "C" shifted to about 20% amber trichomes. So I harvested it, and because the other plant wasn't ready yet I decided to try water curing the first one for 7 days. Then at the end of the 7 days, I figured I'd hack down plant "D" and dry them both on the racks in the tent at the same time before moving into jars. The water curing was a huge success! After the first day, the water was cloudy with a slight green tinge. Second day was about the same. Then the water was just a little cloudy each change, no green tinge. Compare it to the diary I just opened around water re-curing some cannabis I bought from the government store, where the water is diarrhea brown :O On day 7 of my water cure, the water was perfectly clear so I decided to hack down plant "D" and get them both drying on racks in the tent together. While water-curing plant "C", I had its trim sitting in a bowl in the freezer. When I hacked down plant "D", I put its trim in the same bowl. After my typical wet-trimming, I hung up Plant "C"'s water-cured buds on the top rack, plant "D"'s buds on the 2nd rack for an old fashioned cure, and random trim from both plants spread out on the bottom 2 racks. The water-cured buds dried within about 24 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack. The buds are SUPER dense and potent! Nice clean high, doesn't kill my throat. The downside is that the taste is really weak and not that great. But everything has pros and cons. Almost no trichome loss in the bucket during the water curing as well -- I was really worried about that! The other buds dried in about 36 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack, where I burped it many times a day for a week. The smell and flavour are much more potent than the water-cured bud and it's a little harsher on my throat, but otherwise I'm not sure there's a detectable difference. However, you can SEE there's a sharp visual difference between the water-cured buds and the jar-cured :) Of course the jar-cured will mature more with time as well. Once the trim was completely dry, I put it in a bag in the deep freezer and dropped it to about -20. I didn't need to use a grinder this way -- I could just mash it all up in the bag with extreme ease! Sifted it through the kief screen, and pressed down 17 grams of lazy-man's hash! After processing the trim through the kief screen, I decarbed in the oven at 200F for 1 hour (this converts THC-A into THC or something to that effect -- if you don't do this, the edibles won't get you very high). I put the trim into a big mason jar and back into the freezer along with my bottle of Everclear. Once they dropped somewhere down around -20, I poured in the Everclear, put the lid on, and shook as hard as I could, as often as I could, for 5 minutes or so. I noticed that as I shook it around, the contents inside would alternate between solid and liquid which was kinda cool :) Shake it one way and it freezes, shake it the other way and it thaws... or something to that effect, anyway. I was able to use a double-coffee-filter to extract about 2 cups of dragon tincture! I threw everything in the coffee filter out -- next time I'm going to do a better job of it as there's a little pile of trichomes that forms at the bottom of the filter which I could put to use. Once I get that down next harvest, I'll have around 99% efficiency milking every last drop out of my harvests! White chocolate is so yummy, as are candy canes... I wanted to combine the two to make some edibles. Looking around for candy cane crush, I decided to check out Amazon. They had the same candy cane crush I was looking at from popular stores, for only a couple dollars more, so I figured sure why not have it delivered. I was planning to get some white Baker's chocolate, but on checkout of the candy cane crush I got a deal for adding on white chocolate Lindt bars for $1.25 a piece LOL! So I bought 10 of those. When the Amazon package arrived, I slowly boiled down 1/2 cup of my dragon tincture in a pot, then used a double-boiler setup to melt down 4 of the Lindt bars in the same pot. Once it was mixed well with the hash oil, I set it aside to cool for about 3 minutes before stirring in 1/8 cup of candy cane crush (plus I ended up adding maybe like a tablespoon more), pouring into a pan lined with parchment paper, and putting in the freezer for 30 minutes. So now I have a nice big chunk of white chocolate candy cane crunch stuff where a piece the size of my thumb gets me super high for like 8+ hours; 17 grams of lazy-man's hash; and 88 grams of bud :) And still enough dragon tincture left over to make 3 more rounds of edibles -- not sure what I'll make next! From now on I'm going to water cure a large portion of all my buds -- not just the ones I grow myself, but ones I buy from the Gummint too!

UPDATE: Day 2 of week 10; Friday 23rd October: Nutes in with some LST and defoliation again. Diatomaceous Earth going onto the soil tops today to beat this thrips problem.. Sticky traps to catch the live ones. Glad I caught them fairly early as the girls still look ok. Raised my LED slightly today to give the girls a bit more room to grow and tonight I’m making my dehumidifier in a cardboard box solution to get the dehumidifier out of the tent to bring down the temps to a sensible level to deal with these thrips. I had no probs with thrips until the dehumidifier went in and raised the temps too much. So hopefully these small tweaks with get me back on track. Update same day: dehumidifier in a box method built, my handy work is in the pics, will update again tomz with humidity and temps checked to see if this shit worked! 🤞🏼🙏🏼 UPDATE: Day 4 of week 10; Sunday 25th October- Dehumidifier in a box idea was total shit lol but... I found that just rigging up the ducting to the dry air outlet and leaving the rest of dehumidifier in the open rather than in a box and then pumping that into the tent works much better than having the dehumidifier inside the tent. The plants have soooo much more room, fresh air and temps although slightly higher are not as crazy.. After careful inspection, I couldn’t see one thrip today and my sticky traps have lots of little bugs stuck on them 💪🏼🙏🏼... I’m pretty sure I’m not out of the woods yet, so to not disturb the Diatomaceous Earth in the soil bed I’m going to water them via the bottoms of the fabric pots for a few waterings to really ensure I cut those bad boy thrips to shreds 🤞🏼😎 Nutes will be going in too late tonight when I water them via the bottoms for the first time.. UPDATE: Day 6 of week 10 - Tuesday 27th Oct Girls looking good and the watering via the bottoms went better than expected.. So the Diatomaceous Earth can still do it’s job. Can’t see any thrips but I know they’re still there but no way near as many as before. Buds are still really small and in some areas look like they are beginning to turn orange already, I hope my LED is not burning them. I don’t think it’s that as some of the lower buds under foliage seem to have the same. Will keep an eye! Happy days 💚🍃🌱🙏🏼
