Again. Just watering this week. Had no time to do some maint. Next update, I will be topdressing for the second time. Hopfully I can get some defoliation done and clean up the canopy.

Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

Good Day! So this week has been another excellent one in regards to the weather and growing. The girl have been enjoying high 20’s from 9am through until 9pm. My ‘big’ super skunk is flowering really well. I’ve removed some leaves to thin her out a little. She seems to have taken to that ok. I think I did underwater her yesterday and late evening sun crisped a few of her leaves. A big drink tonight. I have to say I’m really happy so far with how she’s turning out. The other super skunk has outgrown the ‘big’ one by 15 cm now and she’s doing really well. I might start a seperate diary for her. Snow Ryder is also coming along really well with her flowering. PLanted at the same time as the superskunk but id say she’s 1 week behind but obviously that’s nothing to worry about. One thing i have been thinking is popping a couple more seeds and seeing if I can squeeze it in. The weather has been so good this summer I don’t see the harm in trying. Short and sweet this week.

My beloved Black cherry punch pheno 2 is looking absolutely stunning, those indica leaves makes me go nuts 🤪, absolutely beautiful strain not only for its grow patterns but also because her effects is really special to me, it's the perfect mix between sedative sleepy high but has a really mellow happy sensation, this is plant is the perfect choice for all of the people that consume pills that fucking kill you with overdose, cannabis is a miracle! Perfect strain to grow, easy, fast and sweet as sugar totally covered in trichomes. The plants showed a very equaled and stable genetics and are very generous with a little care, this strain is almost like walking directly into a dutch candy shop with all kind of winegum smells, simply perfect.

The girls continue to fatten. Way down on the base nutes, hard nitrogen toxicity is showing. 1. Nitrogen toxicity. It was commented on my last grow question that the leaves on my Gorilla Glue grow looked like they were heavy in nitrogen. I did the research and it looks like they were correct. Dry crispy leaves, heavy dark green. They and now myself blame the full strength Advanced Nutrients, noting they are high in Nitrogen. 2. pH issues. I also started noticing a lockout isssues, like red stems. I initially thought it was a strain specific trait, but again was recommended to test my runoff - it came out around 4.5🤮 (on all my plants). Ive been watering heavy at 6.7 now with lime on top (also a new ph meter coming today). Hopefully will help. Regardless, this girl is still pushing energy into the buds and making some nice crystals. The powdery mildew issues is actually going quite well. Not very invasive, no longer leaf stripping either. Im using Safers brand 3 in 1. Placing a wet paper towel behind the leaf, i carefully spray it and wipe it down front and back. 1 week later no reoccurrence on those leaves.

Day 58, 7th of November 2020: The 6th day since the lamp switched to be 12/12. I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plants remain in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... They look good and strech is on the way..... These Original Sensible ones are having really nice smell :) Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;)

Ladies are looking good, I’m liking not having to pull tarps to have flower this early…. But the quality isn’t quite there. My dad is flowering gdp auto and runts auto indoors. They are a lot smaller but a lot prettier. I’m sure my temps have been the root of all my problems. Wishing the buds would fill out, they are getting runny and larfy. Well I have a few more seeds for next year but I’m thinking autos are not for me. I have started to see some botryis and have been cutting it out. Mainly seeing mold on the two hermies, but also seen some aphids on one of the hermies I got mad and cut it down! Then I poured gas on the infested bud and burned it…. Growing is not for the faint hearted;)

It’s actually week 5 I use advanced nutrients and g.o. Bud booster! Looks great! Also unsulphured molasses

This past week has been a blast! After getting these ladies nutrition straightened out, they are thriving!💚🌱💚 I gave defoliated wayyy more than what I see other growers traditionally doing. After the "3rd and final haircut" I defoliated two more times 😅 Thank you the GD community for the support and resources along the way 🙏 My only concern now is the tent actually becoming too crowded.😆. Day 101, 12th of November 2020: All good. Poor girl too many buds lol some buds are bending too heavy for her haha.... Well, day 102 now so 3 days more and the 7th week starts. Harvest comes very soon I think in 10 days but may be earlier a bit trying to extend till the 8th week of flowering but she seeems to be ready but still giving some more time for sure ;)
