Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. 11/21/2022: plants are all still extremely healthy, and the buds keep putting on more weight. Only problem has been a small fungas gnat outbreak. So far it has been manageable with sticky traps, but I have some neem cake on the way. Also, top dressed all three plants late last week and watered again today 1 liter each. The fresh worm casting hold the moister more, so I lowered the amount of water today. Watered at 6.8 ph, using the normal ThermX-70 and coconut powder. Also added a 1/2 teaspoon of BuildABloom and 2 tsp of Yah-Whey Thrive, which is a probiotic whey made from fermented Kefir grains. Saw a lot of good reviews, so figured I'd give it a try. 11/22/2022: the fungas gnat issue is getting worse, so I made some neem cake tea and watered each plant about 1/3rd of a liter. We'll see how this works and how the plants respond. 11/23/2022: did a full watering today about 1 liter per plant. Made an alfalfa sprouted seed tea, and added about 1/4 cup of the Yah-Whey Thrive, and some ThermX-70. Fungas gnats are still an issue, so the jury is still out on the neem cake tea. Ordered some Dr. Zymes to change it up, but it's back ordered until Dec. Hopefully the neem cake tea is killing the eggs and larva. The sticky traps are keeping them under control as well. It looks like the Strawberry Gushers and Newberry are beginning to show the first signs of a fade. It's only on a few leaves, so it makes me think it's not a nutrient issue. 11/24/2022: made another round of neem cake tea. Added powdered coconut, BuildABloom, and ThermX-70. Added about 1.3 liters to each plant. 11/25/2022: I'm in an all out war with the fungas gnats and I seem to be gaining ground (for now). Wanted to switch it up, so I made mosquito bit tea and gave about .5 liters to each plant. Mainly trying to get the first couple inches of the soil. The sticky traps are catching the adults, so hopefully the neem and B.t.i will kill the eggs and larva. Buds are continuing to swell, and the aroma is amazing. The Strawberry Gushers is like a sweet funk. The Orange Bubblegum definitely has an orange scent, and the Newberry smells like fruity pebbles. All plants are still looking healthy and I continue to see some mild fading. The Newberry has one branch that is fading more than the others which is strange. Not sure if it has something to do with the super cropping, or something else, but there is a noticable difference compared to the rest of the plant. The leaves and buds still look healthy, so I'm not too worried for now, but will continue to monitor. 11/26/2022: DAY 60!! Decided to get a little crazy today. This will probably be one of the last times I add microbes to the plants, other than one more late flower compost tea, so I wanted to get as diverse as possible. Added 1/4 teaspoon of the BuildASoil Big 6 micro nutrients, Bio-Phos, TeaCo Super Tea blend, and Recharge, plus 4 ml of FishShit. There is definitely some overlap between these, but they each contained several microbes the others didn't, so I liked the extra diversity. I also added the coconut powder and ThermX-70, which I use for every watering at this point. Gave each plant about 1 liter of this microbe tea. I'm sure the extra watering lately is not helping my fungas gnat issue, but the plants are drinking it up. Avg. VPD:1.5 PPFD: 700 DLI: 45

Hello. I've harvested the Mega Mouth. WOW!!! I'm very impressed with this strain. Over 1.5 k for 5 plants. and it was finished by Aug 20 with the tents help. I'm trying some new (for me) categories to add to my report. Plant Stretch (PS) 1 to 5- 1 is hardly any stretch. Bud Mutation (BM) 1 to 5- 1 is a beautiful normal bud- 5 is big weird growths like foxtails. Trim- How easy or hard it was to trim up 1- you blow on the branch and hang it up. 5- Is very hard to trim takes a long time. About- Best guess on the THC % (I've been smoking a long time) Resin- 1 is super slippery 5- is very sticky like Gorilla Glue. Size of Buds (SOB) 1- is very small 5- is the biggest buds Dense- 1- is the lightest or fluffiest 5- is the rock hard buds your bud buster has trouble busting up. Plant #1 Wet Trim 1647 g PS. 3.5 BM 3.5 Trim 4 About 21% Resin 4 SoB 4 Dense 4 Finished Dry Weight 289.5 g or 10.33 oz. There was some pests around. I found thrips damage in veg and got some Spinosad to take care of that. Saw some fungus gnats around but they didn't do much damage. Easy to grow and trim. This is a recommended strain. Chuck.

Continuing to use nutrients from 9 days ago. Mostly added back water to the tank to reduce the EC, as it was too high in my opinion. Going to try and milk another week out of the nutrients in the tank at the moment, as there are no obvious signs of deficiencies to note. As you can see, I have opted not to defoliate at all for this grow. So far I have only cut off two leaves just so I can get to my filler cap easily. I am doing a little supercropping here and there to level up the canopy. In just over a week they have grown from 51 cm to 93 cm. So a good 80% increase in height. An average of 2 inches of growth per day. If they grow similarly to my last crop, they should have just under 2 weeks stretching left to do. Happy new year!

Last update before i harvest in a couple days - 1 week max, very happy with this grow the gorilla cookies is the plant i’m most looking forward to, it’s covered in frost and smells like berries while the orange sherbet has some monster buds 👌🏾 Think fast buds will be my go to for autoflowers from now on

Thank you to RQS for creating and sending me this girl. She's fat, full of flavour and a pleasure to grow! Highly recommended even for a beginner. Thanks to all that follow, like and comment. Without you guys it'd be pretty boring so I appreciate all of your input! She was harvested on Day 58 and left to dry for at least a week. I then gave her a dry trim and thrown the buds in a jar for curing. I put a couple of boveda 62% humidity packs in there too, to keep the moisture level correct. I'll soon be switching to Integra boost packs as they seem to get a better review and are purposely made for cannabis. Because I have 4 seperate plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 plants in total sharing same conditions). This is the fairest and only way to work it out on average as a full tent. Happy growing! 🐺

Hiya Day 40 today. 09.06. still some problems (as you can see on the most of the leaves). but we will get this to an end and the smell is already amazing. really sweet aroma in the tent and I´m already excited what the smoke will taste like. this week only water. and maybe the last PK boost next week. fingers crossed 😅 happy growing my friends.

Day 57: Welcome to week 9. I defoliated a bit again. Nothin else to do today. Day 58: Nothing to do today. This week I aim for a VPD of 1.1 kPa. Day 59: Time to upgrade. The new AC Infinity S22 has arrived. Now there are 2 of them and both should support her pretty well. Let’s see, how she will finish. Day 60: With the second light in the tent, the temperature is quite high and around 25° C and I was not able to get the humidity to 60 % because the fan was running to fast and I don't want to use a humidifier in the flowering phase. So I decided to raise the temperature and humidity max levels. Let's see, how she likes this and what the avg. VPD will be at the end of the week. Day 61: Nothing to do today. Day 62: I removed some fan leafs. Also I noticed some days before, that she needs a bit more nutrients, so I added a bit more today to the reservoir. Maybe she has a bit of light stress. 2 of the S22 and at the nearest point only 20 cm is maybe a bit too much. So I lowered them to 80%. I hope that helps in addition. Day 63: Last day of the week. I hope lowering the LED to 80% helps her during the next week. It looks like light stress. El cambio de fotoperiodo para el inicio de floración fue el día 18 de la semana anterior. Desde ese momento de han hecho riegos con vegetativo y floración. Generalmente en 3°o 4° semana de floración elimino el vegetativo. También se a regado estimulante de floración delta 9 de manera foliar aprox cada 10 días. Recordar que doy 1 riego de fertilizante cada dos de agua sin fertilizantes por semana, donde en los riegos sin fertilizantes añado microorganismos, enzimas y calmag.

Overall, the Bling strain grew very weird initially, however, it did suffer some trauma and grew 3-point leaves for awhile. Resistance to PM was not good, but was able to keep it at bay until harvest time by daily spraying of Athena Mildew Control. I prefer to use this as I was using H2O2 and it burned leaves because of the pH change. My other harvested plant, Mimosa did not do as good from that spraying, but more on her in my other post. Getting back to Bling - I felt the buds thickened up nicely in the end, with hues of purple calyxes coming out as well as with some leaves. Smells wonderful and looking forward to smoking some after the cure. More to follow...
