The pistols are turning a brown colour this is the end of week 2 going into week 3. Does anyone know if this is normal with LED lighting? I have put a close up on the video.

I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring yhe ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. Both Opium’s got blown over Auto Opium is thin and spindly and before I could save her from the winds and rain, she got whipped side to side. The top 2 feet bent hard one way and the top 6 inches bent the other direction. The pics show my attempt to bandage the damage 😟 to her top cola with chopsticks and electrical tape. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. Beginning of week.. No more Floralicious Plus.. It just makes the water very nasty. She is drinking like fucking crazy. She keeps drying out pretty quickly so I've been leaving some water in the runoff cup for her to have some extra on days Im not gonna be aroun till lights out.. We will see how that goes.. The leaves are still slowly yellowing.. I guess rOoTbOuNd is the issue?? Maybe?.. for once lol.. I understand tho cuz it is just a 9oz cup.. But she will make it! Got some slight red colors coming through on the tips of some top leaves (see last pic in Beginning of week) and the tips of a very few top calyxes.. Last time this plant was pretty colorful.. Hoping to get even more out of her this time around.. So I'm chilling the water.. Not just in the PM but every watering will be chilled. AM and PM.. About 35°F, I believe.. My PPM/EC/Temp meter doesnt show the correct temp.. Everything reads 50°F.. But it does great reading the TDS.. So it's still a keeper in my eyes lol. Mid week.. The bottom set were pretty yellow and were easy to just tug off.. So I did.. Colas are starting to swell.. Under my 60x loupe, it seems like damnnear all the trichomes are cloudy.. Not many amber just yet.. And I'm not checking the leaves.. I'm checking trichomes on the calyxes.. Like you're supposed to lol.. Alot of people dont seem to realize that.. They see some amber trichomes on a leaf and think its time to harvest when you still got 2, 3.. Maybe even 4 more weeks to go lol.. Just what I've seen alot of.. But I know I'm on the right track.. She is pretty healthy for the most part.. Her clone is getting thick asf too! Lol.. Just 3 little nugs hahah.. I only water/feed it with runoff from her morher that has been a little watered down.. So far shes happy and loving life as well.. Not a bad strain for buy 10 get 10 free.. I wanna see how the White Widow Photoperiod turns out.. May throw one in under the 320H when I get all that set up.. Just waiting for this girl to finish for the most part.. Then I can get started on that. End of week.. Lookin gorgeous asf! Calyxes are turning a little red toward the very tops of the colas.. Leaves are slightly doing the same.. Still some slow yellowing.. But the buds are super happy and healthy.. Still waiting of more pistils to turn.. But she is starting to swell nicely.. I love these girls... Lol.. On to the next...

Hmmm. Was overall a very hard plant to grow for me. I hit a hard road on her & she's very difficult pheno to grow for me. I HST'ed her as her tops stretched really far away from the bulk of the foliage at the bottom. Was really weird. So, I had 4 top bud sites that were 20cm away from the bottom after her flip stretch before pre flower. So, HST'ed the tops and they gave back rock hard buds. At the end. That all finished really well.

We have 18 strains running with 2 regular strains, I want to be sure we can fill up the whole SOG. 9/7 - Just to recap last week. 9/5 I transplanted from the 16 oz solo cups into a one gallon 8" tall Active Aqua 6" x 6" Square Pots. Today, I topped and defoliated. Everything is looking good, now just waiting for them to bounce back. Hoping to be ready for flower within next week or two. This is my first run using a modified SOG method, and not sure how long it will take for them to be ready. Ideally I'd like each main growing shoot to be about 12" or so before sending to 12/12. BAD NEWS: Half of the blue diodes have gone out in the TMLAPY light. This light was actually gifted to me shortly after a friend purchased it from Amazon and realized it was too small for their space. It seemed to be serving it's purpose well for vegging photos and running bumper crops of autoflowers but it failed only four months after the warranty period ended! Weak-Sauce! Welp, looks like it's time to upgrade the 24"x48" tent to Samsung LM301H boards. I ordered a 320w straight single piece heatsink with 3 boards from Geeklight. I went with the 3k spectrum and switchable UV/IR since all my autoflowers bloom under this light. Plant seems to be growing well, she’s has some nice fans. I’ll be transplanting some time next week. Topped her this week too.

So happy with the result of these gals. Harvested at around 15-20% amber on the tops of the colas, will be pressing the lower buds and trim with less amber into rosin :) They really grew into massive hulking monsters with colas the size of my forearm :0 I am so impressed and proud to call this my first ever grow. I learned so much and I am so hyped to put all this knowledge into the next grow.

All plants growing well , buds developing well. Fat banana much stronger against the feeding then the Bubble Kush Auto, but still both growing well and dense buds .

This solocup grow is moving along nicely. Shes flooring and starting to want to stack. Smells very strong of fuel. HOWEVER I did catch 4 different pollen sacks this week. I was able to remove all of them before they ever opened. I kmow the correct move would be to eliminate the herm. But, I would really like to make this grow work! I'm gonna sew if she will get thru another week without causing me any more problems.. if it herms any more, I will have to execute her! I have another of the same strain running in a 5 gallon pot without any sign of herm. Id definitely say this is streas induced from the tiny pot. These are big plants with big root systems regularly. Fingers crossed I can keep her going! Of course I xould have left this part out, but its the real world. And im trying to bring it to you like it is! These things happen sometimes!. Moved her to the HPS light this week from the T5.
