Day 28- business as usual. May top dress end of this week, not sure. But smells and trichs are setting up and no signs of deficiencies. I probably could push them more but it’s all good for now. Day 30- ditched the trellis and did a heavier defol as the humidity would reach 73 with lights off. See if we can get some better airflow and fatter lowers.

Very lite feeding this week on the first day. Then I finished the week with r/o water. She is going dark for about 60 hours then to harvest. The smell finally came out and it’s pretty normal and pleasant IMO.

All looking good, was looking like there was gonna be a few mutants but they seem to have sorted themselves out. Topped most of them now at day 22, will start spreading them out a bit this week and start training them up

The girls have grown so much and they already smell pretty good. I'm trying to decide if I should SCROG. I have a trellis net but it's just a net, not the boxy thing that I've seen others with. What do yall think, should I SCROG? GDP2 is in her 5th week. If she were the same age as GDP1 and BK, I'd flip them next week but I'll try waiting at least another couple of weeks to give her some time to grow a little more although she's catching up with the other 2 height. I'll be posting more throughout the week. 7/4/22: Defoliation... 16.2.25: I decided to check out the lower canopies of all plants to see if I need to get rid of any foliage. I did get rid of a few small branches and leaves. However, whilst I was doing this, I saw more garden pegs from my LST remaining. There were about 6 or more in Pink Mist alone. Additionally, on Watermelon, there were some left in, too. I'm so annoyed to see that because the plants are really stretching, and I could've potentially disrupted this by leaving the pegs in for all this time without realising it. 🤞 that I haven't compromised things too much. We'll see. I watered today with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing the following nutrients; ♡ .8g Green Leaf Nutrients PK booster ♡ .5g Ecothrive Biosys I ordered quite a few things for the garden. I got Greenleaf Nutrients Sea K(elp) and Mega Crop Parts A+B. To go with their PK Booster I got last month. I'm excited to try it all together. Next run, maybe just using these. We'll see how it goes. 18.2.25: The plants are going crazy for water! Everything is getting used right up so fast! Today, I decided to add some more Black Strap Molasses to add some carbs and other micronutrients. I'll add the jar with the label in the photos section above. I watered a very small amount to each plant. What I put in: ♡ Black strap molasses 150g ♡ 2g Sea K(elp) Greenleaf nutrients. I dissolved everything in 4ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. 19.2.25: I received the majority of the garden purchases that I made. I'm still waiting for the Ecothrive Life Cycle. I wanted to top dress, but it's been delayed unfortunately. I am using my Greenleaf nutrients products which I bought on Amazon. I got the Mega Crop 2 part system Part A and Part B. I have the Sea K(elp), and the bud explosion PK booster. I really wanted to get some of their sweet candy asking read many positive reviews. Unfortunately, for me, this is unavailable to buy currently. So that's a little disappointing. I needed to do a good watering so when my nutes were delivered today, I got excited 🤗 I watered 2ltrs of dechlorinated water per plant, PH'd to 6.4, containing the following nutrients: ♡ 1g Mega Crop Part A ♡ 1g Mega Crop Part B ♡ .5g Sea K(elp). The plants drank this up within a few hours. I'm going to try and hold off on watering in hopes that my Ecothrive Life Cycle will arrive so I can top dress and water it in then. 20.2.25: My Ecothrive Life Cycle arrived yesterday, and the plants are ready for their top dress and a good watering in. I have some Biobizz Light Mix, Canna Coco,and perlite. I'm going to use this as a base to mix my amendments in. I'm going to fill my 5 gallon bucket with about 4.5 gallons of my top dress mix. I will distribute this across 6, 4-5 gallon pots. Then I will water in well with Greenleaf nutrients Mega Crop Parts A+B and Sea K(elp). I've made a crude attempt to video mixing my top dress. Don't listen to the audio. lol, my YouTube didn't stop playing whilst I recorded this 😂 So anyway, I added the following amendments to the above base mix of 4.5 gallons; ♡ 3 TBSP Ecothrive Life Cycle ♡ 3 TBSP Vitalink Bat Guano ♡ 3 TBSP Ecothrive Charge ♡ 1 TBSP RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules ♡ 6 TBSP Ground Cinnamon.

So I finished my slow transition to flower yesterday, I increased “night” by 20 min everyday over 21 days to get from 18/6 to 11/13. She’s def stretching but less then would be expected with this strain if it was an abrupt switch. Enjoy and give me a like!!

🇺🇸 Grow Journal – Week 13 Week thirteen. The plant seems in good shape overall, even though it’s starting to show some light discoloration on a few leaves. I don’t really know what’s causing it. Maybe it’s because the plant is growing and needs more nutrients now. Or maybe there’s some kind of nutrient blockage starting to appear. The substrate has been running for thirteen weeks, so it could be getting a bit loaded. I’m thinking a flush might help — just to give the root system a reset before moving forward. This week I also worked on defoliation and topping. We’re now at sixteen apexes, and I think that’s enough. It’s probably the last topping, because if I wait much longer, the plant is going to get too big and it’ll be harder to manage once she stretches. Aside from that, everything looks fine. However, I did notice a big drop in pH in the reservoir, which is strange. I added Athena Balance, just like always, but the pH keeps going down. I don’t really understand why it’s dropping so much. Other than that, everything’s okay — nothing special to report. The plant looks stable, and we’re getting close to the flowering stage.

26.1.25: I have had a mistake 😕 i spilt some Fish Mix as I was experimenting with a syphon from some aquarium tubing I have. Unfortunately, I forgot to take the syphon out! Ugh 😣 However, it is fish emulsion and very thick consistency. Therefore, I was able to scrape it up with 2 of my business cards up off the counter. So added this extra into the next 2 ltr solution I mixed. All plants were watered with at least 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3. Containing the following nutrients;- ♡ 3ml Seachem Seaweed ♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 3ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag ♡ .25g Ecothrive Biosys. ♡ 2.5g of Bicarbonate of Soda as PH UP. Unfortunately I have broken my PH pen too. Accidentally submerged it under water, then the readings went crazy. I'm leaving it to dry by standing it up but I'm most likely going to need a new one, which is extremely annoying 😑 I'm going start implementing the Scrog net probably some point next week if I let the plants that are in flower to just grow up now, as I do believe that I stunted Watermelon 🍉 by using too strenuous LST. Hopefully the plants still are able to grow upwards at this stage during flower for all the Purple Punch P1, P2 and P3. We will soon see! 28.1.25: My PH pen has packed up 😣 I've got to wait to get another. It's super annoying 😑 so I'm just judging by memory how to regulate it. Unfortunately, that's my only choice! I'm also out of the dechlorinator 😕 things are not going very well this week so far 😅 I guess we will have to make do, until I can get replenished. 29.1.25: I removed all the plants, hoovered, and disinfected the tent. There were several accidents when watering, causing some debris and splashes. I decided to just go ahead and get a few other things done. It's crazy how quickly things can become neglected! 😣 So I defoliated moderately on all plants except Gorilla Cookies seedling. I have absolutely dropped the ball on my lighting situation! My light was much further away than I thought! I turned it up to 100% and dropped it down to just under 2 feet away. After I reset the tent, I set up my scrog net. I removed 80% of all LST pegs. I am planning on letting the scrog net take over the training from here. I really want to minimise the risk of mould, so I decided to start using my dehumidifier. It has raised up to 73% RH this week, so it's necessary. Hopefully, I will be able to get my dechlorinator and PH pen soon! That's kind of essential to me. It's been a little bit of a stressful day in the garden, to be honest 😅 30.1.25: So I am expecting the arrival of my new PH pen today, as well as my new bottle of Ecothrive neutralise. It is supposed to measure the TDS and EC in addition to the standard TEMP and PH, which I had previously. Obviously, time will tell if it's any good or not. I realise, much too late now, that my lighting is very insufficient for this many plants. I need double the watts at least, and coverage is very poor. I remembered I had an old LED floor lamp, which was in a corner being unused. I decided to take the stand off, and Zip tied the pole onto the tent pole at the back left corner. I have no idea what the wattage is, and it's quite pathetic 😅 but I mean, I might as well use it, being as I definitely cannot afford more lights! 😣 Next grow, I will probably only grow 2 plants, max 4, and just use larger 7-10 Gallon pots. Being as I ran out of dechlorinator, I only watered some plants properly because I only had enough to make 6 litres. When my pen arrives, I will get everything properly watered. 31.1.25: The leaves of several plants are showing signs of iron deficiency. This is likely due to my PH pen packing up earlier. I now have a new pen. Due to this, I decided to use my Seachem Prime, which I use for my aquariums. As I wanted to get them watered properly, and my Ecothrive Neutralise hasn't arrived yet. I watered each plant with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. I added .25g Ecothrive Biosys to the water. May give them a breather on the nutes and just use the Cal-Mag and Biosys. Being as I've just topped dressed with rich fertilisers, I'm sure that will be OK for the next several waterings. Bubble Kush

2 weeks into flower and you'd think it was more like week 4. I can already tell this is going to be a great yeild and great way to finish the year. So resilient. Despite high nutrient levels shes not showing any burn and stacking on the the buds. I've handpicked a few central leaves from around the more dense areas. The shorter more developed plant of the pair already smells phenomenal. Like rotten mango and orange zest. Already very sticky too. one thing I am suprised about is the lack of stretch. I really expected them to get much taller but it seems they are solely focused on flower production. That is something I will bare in mind on my next run. Check back for mid week updates.

Three large glasses full to the brim with the purest, sour and diesel-smelling sativa monster! What a tough passage this time. A few unpleasant personal events occurred during 3 months of the finest organic farming, some of which were in the battle with my motivation. A time full of happiness and a time full of sadness and compassion. I also learned an incredible amount once again. Everything all still going well was pretty worried about the LST incase made mess of it was freaking out incase I put plant under to much stress

The plants stopped growing in height and are now in FULL FLOWERING mode. Every day more and more flower clusters appear and start to build colas at the sidebranches now. The trichome production is also in full swing, the plants get stickier every day and smell DELICIOUS. The Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have a sweet sandelwood-smell like the AK-47 but also with peach undertones from the Barbara Bud in it. I LOVE THE AROMA!

So far my confidence in this next go around is very high! 😃☀️ Putting the seeds straight into a jiffy pellet is the way I am going to proceed with germination going forward. You are just adding extra variables to what should be a simple equation (seed in sterile medium + warmth + moisture = seedling) unlike with the paper towel method, where you need to transfer them to the medium. But this is just one opinion of a rookie grower.
