📜 Rambling - With week 9 here, the ladies are about 2.5 weeks into flower, they are stretching nicely.

▶️ Monday - 03.08.21 / Fed the ladies tonight, I am just blown anyway - I will have o get in there and defoliate these girls in the morning! They are super stretching!
▶️ Tuesday - 03.09.21 / Started the defoliation - this will take parts of 2 maybe 3 days, once completed I will add another SCROG net and spray with Green Cleaner. Fed the plants each with 40 ounces of Advanced Nutrients,
▶️ Wednesday - 03.10.21 / Finished the defoliating tonight - fed the girls 40 Oz each - will add the second SCROG tomorrow.
▶️ Thursday - 03.11.21 / Checked on the girls this morning the day after defoliation was completed they are loving life - praying 🙏 up and just looking awesome! - This was a very busy week, a lot of work has been done, should be fairly maintenance-free, for the next 6 weeks!

Weeks has been good. its really week 5.5 half way though but wanted to do the update today.
The one THCv plant is having some issues flipping back to veg after the mix up. Its really getting weird AF. and I think next week is when I will be flipping them to bloom so IDK how that one is going to react. I have more seeds of that one so if it fails its ok I can grow it again. the CBG's are the strongest in the tent.
Added their first feeding of the Acadie fertilizer, low amount. 5ml/1gal its recommended rate is 30ml per 1L seems crazy high but that's what the label suggests.
Herbs also doing well, gave them a feeding too and last week I added in some Nematodes as I saw a gnat, but have not seen any other ones since applying. so that's a bonus. Again a bit to much N in the mix, I did not think I added that much but guess I did. Looks ok on all the other nutrients.
Also a nice little shoutout to IZI, they sent over a strain to try with some cool stickers and a leaflet of all their strains. I got the Lemonade Kush, This was stuck in the mail for a month or so, I think they sent it out just before the strike in Nov and it arrived in early/mid Jan.

this is my first time transplanting from hydro to soil due to room/spacing issues, and let me tell you, this is NOT an easy task, and should be avoided at all costs, especially the bigger the plant. it almost seems impossible to remove all the clay pebbles without damaging some of those 2-3week old baby roots around those pebbles. i gently picked out as many clay pebbles as i could with my hand and then had to cut the plastic net pot to completely free up those roots without shocking the plant too much. the transplant was a success into soil 5gal, although I expected worse, and am expecting to be a few weeks behind to let her system reset/build. to make matters worse, its been VERY HOT in the midwest (90-100f). and here we go, later that same week, i accidentally left her overnight, and into the morning sun on a 100f day. as you can see from her burn marks, she clearly wasn’t able to defend herself against that type of extreme heat yet, and i was blessed to catch her before the afternoon heat, otherwise she’d be toast, lol. just a few of the upper leaves turned crispy. i know she wasn’t happy so i put her under more gentle conditions, now let’s see how she comes back

Harvest Report – Cutting
The cutting has now reached harvest time, and the final impressions are very positive. Compared to Phenotype #1, the aroma of the cutting is noticeably sweeter—a more pronounced fruity profile with less of the earthiness or pine noted in other phenotypes. The buds are dense and sticky, reflecting the successful flowering process despite lighter nutrient feeding.
Key Observations:
Aroma: Sweet and fruity, an improvement or variation on #1.
Bud Quality: Dense structure and well-formed trichomes indicate good resin production.
Nutrient Management: The lighter feeding schedule led to some yellowing leaves early, but the plant still delivered a satisfying yield.
Performance: Overall, the cutting performed as expected, showing consistent traits and no issues with hermaphroditism despite being feminized. This confirms that previous issues were likely due to the genetics of other plants rather than environmental factors.

The buds start to swell extremely .
The trichomes mature day by day.
This week she was given a very light flush with Clean Fruits so that she can use up her remaining nutrients in the coming days 👍.
It will be harvested in the next 10-14 days 😍.
I can't wait to try them all :-) .

Plants still looking good from last week, Run off was a bit high for my liking but only seeing minimal signs of nutrient burn. Still watering once with feed and runoff and then later in the week with water and no/little runoff for my watering cycle.The number in the nutrient section are wrong but the EC and ratio are correct. sucks this thing is an auto and not a fast version, I dilute the feed down to 1/2 as the other photoperiods, its in its end of life now and kinda of a waist of space. Not impressed with this plant. might steer away from fast flowers because of this.
Lights doing well. The V1 spectrum is good on the medic grow mini sun-2's 240w. No issues so far, dimmed at 80%

I am watering them a bit more than 1L f water every 2 days and allways adding nutrients, I give them Fast food + Shogun + Auto Stimulator + Calmag and 2 days after bio-bloombastic + calmag. Once every two weeks I also add bloombastic in both feedings since it is a low PK (1312, funny number though 👊😋) due to its organic procedence.
The LSDs are the taller plants in the back and in the right wall of the grow tent and the ones in the center are blueberrys
Overall I am very happy, LSDs are getting really mean main colas and it seems to me that they are not going to be ready this week, which is not what Barneys said but is better for me in order to get a greater harvest, and to be honest, me being a first time grower might have also played a role on the process lasting a little longer since I slightly overfed them the first week of flowering. I must also say that this is an exceptional genetic, I mean they are sooo sticky and have such a nice smell that I am crazy to try them once I finish.
Also, I am going to try and get a narchotic effect on these LSDs by harvesting them when all the trichomes turn brown after a 5 day root washing

Granddaddy plant in week 6 of flowering. She is in full bloom.
Bugs Issue:
There are some old caterpillar holes on leaves but I think bugs situation improved. The smell from plant dropped last week after first round of insecticide spray. Smell is like plant crying out in pain after being attack by bugs.
I sprayed spinetoram one more time in the beginning of the week. Late in the week, I used a USB microscope to check. And there was a Protoss tank patrolling a leaf on plant 2. On the bigger plant, I just saw carcass of dead mites strewn around.
Prepping plant 2 for an early harvest. I am always happy on harvest day. Trim her and let the pot dry out for a couple of days.
And plan to spray my garden with third and last round of spinetoram. Next week, I am going back to microbes.
Plant 1 is doing fine. She is bigger and handles pests better. Her flowering cola’s also smell nicer. Plant 1 phenotypes is much better than plant 2. And I removed some leaves.
This past week, I fed both plants with half strength potassium based orchid fertilizer. Plant 2 shows slight tip burn. So, this is the feeding limit. Plant 1 leaves are nice and green. A few leave started to yellow but I am not bothered by that issue at late flowering stage.
Next week I’ll just give plant 1 a dose of yogurt and start pre-harvest preparations. Trimming, flushing, and all that.
Transplanted a clone to 25-liters basket. She started to put our pistil. This is one issue with Mycorrhiza. It over stimulate the root. And root tips put our too much cytokinin that signals flowering.

One plant showing moderate magnesium deficiency.
The other 2 plants are looking good, with one other plant also have slight magnesium deficiency. I will up the cal-mag for them next feed.

Plants start to pre flower, everything is going good, few nutriments fails but overall it's pretty much ok
Pretty sad about the Zake and the Shimo in the front that pretty much had no stretch 😓
Cant complain since im working from seeds !

Getting close to the end here. The good news is there are no new signs of bud rot, yay! I'll start chopping the first 2 down this weekend and cut down the 3rd in another week.
I plan on making CBD capsules with these girls. Any comments or advice on the best process for making capsules would be appreciated! 🙏
