Wk 4 flower is almost done. I’ve made a slight change to the feed schedule this week. I’d been giving around two litres twice per week but it was looking slightly over watered afterwards , so now adjusted to 1.5 L 3 times a week. The plant has reacted well and will hopefully cope with a higher dosage of feed over the next 3 weeks.

Pheno hunt is rolling along smoothly. Gave the plants their first feeding. Top dressed with coast of Maine lobster compost cut with Stonington blend to give a little aeration. 3:1 ratio coast of Maine plant food 5:2:4. Roughly 1 tbsp per pot. Mixed in with compost and soil and scratched into top 4 inches Watered in with a blend of Neptune harvest liquid fertilizer in ratio 1:2:1 (npk) watered down to 1tsp/gal in this order: Fish: Crab: Kelp The ZB is definitely a shorter stockier plant with short internodal spacing. Originated from very tiny seeds which might explain the smaller plant form at the start. Once it puts in some biomass it might pick up the speed. HP seems to like to stretch a little more. Growing like crazy Rainbow belts looking like the model freak of nature that it is. Near perfect. 18hrs post feed/ top dress and the plants are recovering beautifully. Liquid fertilizer is not ideal as it's expensive and you're paying a lot for water. But for my grow it's very necessary to lower solution pH into something acceptable. Next week I'm hoping to harvest some young plants in a nearby forest to create a brown sugar fermented plant juice in order to get away from the high nutrition of emulsions. Update day 19 Seems that ZB HATES having it's roots dry. Really needs to be watered almost daily to keep it happy. Strange

Similar conditions as last week, but the plant is getting bigger, so is drinking more, I was finally able to feed the plant 2 times in one week. This week I also introduced a foliar spray. I applied the foliar spray 1h after the lights turned off, next time I need to give it a bit earlier, right after the lights turn off. I also used Mycorrhizae this week as well I feel that the initial problems that I had been solved, the plant is growing at a normal pace now. Plants look,smell, and feel amazing. I think they've put on most of their weight now and the buds are starting to get really cloudy! I started the slightly older plant in the front on her flush at the end of this week. I believe the one in the back seems to be a week or 2 behind.

Final veg week

We’re in the second week of flowering, and the plants are really starting to stretch! 🌿 They’ve gained good height, especially the one without LST, which has grown tall very quickly. It’s been exciting to watch them reach upward as they prepare for the bud development phase. Everything is looking good overall, and I’m happy with the progress so far. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the buds will start forming in the next few weeks! 😁✨

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Right so now I flushed the hell out of this lady and the runoff now is the exact same as what's going pretty much. Also I'm super happy to see the purples coming through and also the smell has changed drastically and started smelling more like Mimosa than it did pre-flush. Going to do one last flush now and leave it 2 or 3 days then leave her in the dark for 48 hours then cut her down!

Great! - [19:39]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. --- Another grow week done! --- Need to still decide which clones to transplant. --- Currently between the 4 phenos, plan to transplant Gorilla Goat #1 and the original Garlic Budder #2, but this may change. --- The Gorilla Goat #1 (currently at ~5 month cure) is by far the loudest pheno of the lot and has a lemon chem gas profile when has made her a keeper! --- The one I’m still deciding on are the Garlic Budder phenos (also at ~5 month cure). Both are unique in their own dank way. The #1 pheno has a smooth sweet ‘purple’ terpene profile with a hint of fuel while the #2 is more earthy and gassy. --- Anyways! --- Onwards to next week Ensign! [END OF WEEK 20]

It's time. The trichomes have clouded over, a milky haze obscuring the clear heads. The smell is faint. Very herby of thyme and salvia. The buds are small and round.

7 Woche

5/31 Week 6 Finally she is no longer growing vertically. The bulking up is starting as she now has much more space and thus light at all levels of her growth. She will continue receiving the occasional shot of PK when it looks needed.
