HARVEST DAY!!!.... What a beautiful plant.. I can't wait to give her a taste.. Was expecting to push her another week.. But a closer look showed that there were alot of amber already.. Kinda hard to see them against the purple calyxes along with with the Mars Hydro TS 1000 on as well.. But she should be perfect! Oh I cant wait!!! Will be updating with the drying and curing as I go!!! So happy!!! 😭😭😭 Drying - Day 4... Ok so humidifier is definately not needed this time lol.. For a couple days the room and box were at 70% so I took the water and filter out of the humidifier and just running it as a fan to help move the air around the small room its drying in.. The box also has a very small and weak computer fan which is just pulling the air out SLOWLY but SURELY.. Now the humidity inside the box has been reading 66% constantly for the last 2 days! This will be my first harvest that doesnt dry in 3 - 5 days without a humidifer! Maybe cuz I watered that morning?? Idk.. But this is much better.. Hoping for at least a 7 day dry.. 10 or 12 would be nice.. But I doubt that very much lol.. Anyways.. Will still be updating as I go!!! Drying - Day 5... So I went ahead and trimmed all the smaller nugs and colas.. Leaving the 3 biggest colas (back of the box) to trim in the morning tomorrow. I wish I would have lollipopped some.. Alot of larfy, leafy nugs.. But still gonna smoke that shit! Lol.. Took about 2.5 hours to trim what I did today.. Keeping the trim (duh) to make some bubble hash.. Or maybe just gather the keif and press it.. Haven't made up my mind on that yet.. Either way it's gonna be some epic shit! The smell is still so amazing! You could probably fuck up the drying and curing and still smell the citus! Lol.. But I will still keep updating as I go! Drying - Day 7.. I went ahead and put some smaller nugs into a jar to see what they were reading.. Still way too high.. In about 8 hours it was reading 84% RH so they still got at least a couple more days drying. Drying - Day 8... Ok so I was feeling the nugs I already trimmed and jarred.. They feel pretty crispy. So I'm jarring them again today. I have trimmed up 2 more of the bigger colas but I can feel that they still have some moisture.. So later today I'm going to finish trimming up the last one (which is gonna be awful lol it has alot of smaller branches that are gonna be very tedious) but that one is gonna have to be left out to dry a little longer than the rest. As of now, I have 3 jars filled.. I may even need to buy another jar.. I really wish I had some big mouth mason jars so I can buy those lids for curing! Those things look legit asf! Later that night... So I have now finished trimming.. The jars that I had already filled were reading 62% RH on the dot.. I like to have it at 65% - 68% RH to have some room to get it down to 62% after a week or two.. But this shouldnt be any issue.. Will add 62% packs when the jars get below 60%.. But since they are already at 62%.. I dont want to burp very often at all.. 62% RH is where I like my bids at. I have a sandwich bag FULL of trim.. That is gonna make some amazing bubble hash! Very airy bud.. But this strain is very beautiful.. Smells great.. Just the airy buds.. Will definately grow again.. Will update with a taste test in 15 - 30 days.. Would rather get the cure done before I taste her.

🌱 Runtz - Week 2 Update 🌱 The second week of growth is well underway, and so far, the Runtz seedlings are showing great potential, despite a small hiccup earlier in the week. 🌿 This week started with a bit of a scare when I noticed something unusual with my Root Juice fertilizer—it had gone bad, with white spots floating inside, resembling mold. I had already applied it a few times during the first week, which led to some concerns about the soil's health. I took quick action by removing the top layer of the soil and replacing it with fresh soil mixed with mycorrhiza. To combat any lingering issues, I watered the plants with a solution of Clean Soil and Cannazym to cleanse the medium and support root health. Thankfully, the Runtz plants didn’t seem to be affected negatively—they’ve maintained steady growth and appear happy and healthy! It’s a relief to see their resilience. Looking forward to wrapping up Week 2 with bigger, stronger plants and setting the stage for explosive growth in the coming weeks! We are now in week 7 (today MAY 13 2024 DAY 53) going into week 8 getting ready to turn off our veg stage and turn the flower on! We have introduced the next stage of nutrition for the plant ( Fox Farm Big Bloom next we start adding Tiger Bloom) we plan on doing our flower flip between May 16th and 17th and we are looking forward to a 8 to 10 week flower time frame for this strain. We are slowly introducing videos for our gross this will be the first strain and grow Journal of ours where we will be introducing a time-lapse video of the flower stage. This is my current plant running for the Growers Gauntlet 2024. If you have not checked it out I definitely would there's some amazing Growers and they're doing their thing. Follow along and watch us produce an amazing flowers with some pretty cool growing techniques.

Sooo, I'm not sure if I may have shocked and stressed this LSD-25 a bit too early because there's a ton of preflowers and she just had been lacking the growth I've seen when in comparison to my Strawberry Pie Auto. But with that being said, she does look healthy at least

Starting to really stink now the gorilla zkittles seems so fill out a lot earlyer than the purple berry kush will pics of each plant next feed. Also start the shooting powders next week witch will be 3weeks of shooting pwders then 2weeks flush cantbwaitbto see how these turn out as this is my 1st grown in around 8years

3/11/2019 All going well, Fed with grow,micro,bloom, + Overdrive. Calyxs really filling out nicely one more week of feeding them, then flushing for 1-2 weeks . In video of #2 i show where it broke, she healed and kept budding any way.😁

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . This girl is growing like a sword – tall, slender, and cutting through the canopy with style 😅 She's stretched quite a bit, and down below she’s rocking four tiny side shoots that I’m honestly not sure what to think of yet. But hey, I’m letting her do her thing. Stretch seems to be slowing down now, and I'm starting to spot the very first trichomes glistening under the light, always an exciting moment! Let’s see how she continues to shape up in the coming weeks. Staying hopeful!🌱💚

Unlucky but Lucky. Auto night queen DNF. After 9 days its time to go on. 1/5 seeds germinate from that package 😀 Luckily I happened to find treasure at Saint Patricks day 🍀 3 blue streak seeds. All germinate in 48h in same place than night queen spend that 9 day. In facts Aprox 10years ago i bought 5 of these seeds. Made f2 from them and when raised there was phenotype that was producing much more branches than others so i made f3 seeds from the bushy f2. Lovely blueberry taste and smell. Not feminised so i go with 3 seeds at beginning. Had once 6/6 Males. these seeds are 7 years old. Planted 20.3.24 Sprouted 26.3.24 Lets see what we got. To be continued...

New under canopy lights are here and finally in! I know it's a late addition to this grow, but cannot wait to see how this affects the lowers and yield!

Day 15 - Transplanted WWxBB 1, and SB 1 & 2 to Roots Organics Original in 5 gallon pots. It went smooth and they all perked up pretty quickly. WWxBB2 could use some more time to develop its roots but no more than 2 days until she gets transplanted too. Day 17 - Transplanted WWBB2 this morning so now all 4 ladies are in 5 gallon pots. Watering .5 L every about every 3 days but will need to gradually increase the watering amount with the root development. Keeping an eye out for topping time! Day 19 - Starting to see some slight discolorations on a few leaves. Seems too early for the soil to be running out of nutrients and my pH has been consistent as far as I know. Thinking about trying a light does of some FF nutes if it persists. WWBB1 is almost ready for topping.

Week 8 (4/11/22 - 4/17/22) Took 9 cuttings, dipped in Clonex and plugged into presoaked rockwool cubes. Once rooted, the plan is to take 6 cuttings into the flower tent.

8/23 Fed 2 gallons of nutes to the garden. I'm planning to increase feeding to three gallons as plants look hungry. Ice cream cake isn't as vibrant as it once was. Still losing leaves but I find that is consistent with others in my area according to the local growers page. The hurricane missed us but the rain and humidity are still a problem. It's not raining (plants were soaked so it rained last night) and rh is still 100%. It's outdoor so what can I do? What I NEED to do is spray BT and something to combat PM. Plants are flowering nicely. It's good to actually have some flowers to look at. The smell is great too. 8/24 Didn't water as it rained last night. Defoliated what was dead. Fog was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Everything is in flower. The little ice cream cake flowers don't look like they like this rain. I don't blame them. I don't remember the last time it didn't rain at night. I noticed more damage on plants or maybe old damage. Either way bud shoots are gone on a few lower limbs. I can't pull up my bags as the are firmly rooted. I checked under the five gallon buckets (which were also somehow firmly rooted) and found a shit ton of earwigs underneath. I killed what I could. I tried spraying a bug with dawn but it didn't kill it or at least didn't kill it right off. I stomped on them and tore open the earth. Logic dictates they are probably under the grow bags as well. I'm going to try Spinosid tonight. I'll look up some other methods as well. If anybody has advice please hit me up. UPDATE: Went back down at 6. Super sunny and humid today. Temp was 92 with humidity about 90%. I couldn't spray. I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Found four more moth leaves on the sick isolated plant. They must like the injured ones better. 8/25 Watered and defoliated what needed it. Buds are growing rapidly. Took pictures but have been unable to upload due to slow internet connection. Hopefully the weather will allow me to spray tonight. 8/26 Watered heavy as it's been in the 90s. Couldn't spray as it was to hot last night. Buds are tightening up. Ran out of LCPT so I need to find an alternative. Now that plants are flowering it's easier to see the damage from the earwigs. No buds where they should have been on some low branches. Not many and hopefully the few that got lollipoped will focus growth on the top. I hope I'm able to make it down late tonight to work. I was worried about my plants flowering late but that might be a blessing in disguise. I've seen lots of people losing plants to bud rot. Thanks for stopping by and please leave any thoughts or advice in the comments. 8/27 UPPED MY FEEDING REGIMEN TO THREE GALLONS AND USED TWO TBSP TIGER BLOOM IN PLACE OF KOOL BLOOM AND USED A WHOLE TBSP KELP FOR THE HEAT. This heat is killing me. Yesterday was over 95f with rh in the 90s. My medication makes the heat harder to bare. Defoliated what needed it. I'm in town looking for a fungicide. Planned to use apple cider vinegar this morning but of course I couldn't find it. Buds still rapidly forming. I'll update later. I picked up potassium bicarbonate and citric acid and have the recipe and ingredients for both diy green cleaner and green cure. Once the sun starts going down I'm going to use the potassium bicarbonate recipe. Bought a bunch of potassium bicarbonate and citric acid. I am now able to make diy versions of both green and green cleaner. I mixed 1tbsp potassium bicarbonate with 1/4 teaspoon dawn and sprayed two gallons on the plants last night. Leaves were yellowing more and traveling upward on the blueberry. Bleeding like nitrogen deficiency. I'll monitor. If plants don't improve I'll need to do a flush and an application of Spinosid. Wanted to take pics but the phone died. 8/28 Thoroughly watered today. I also had to defoliate a ton of yellow leaves on my blueberry's. I'm hoping it's not nutrient lockout. I still have three issues that could be my problem 1) the WPM 2) PISSIBLY ph fluctuation or worse w lockout and 3) earwig or inch 🐛/ moth larvae causing damage. I'm coming out of my funk so hopefully I can fix these issues. Smell is amazing and the buds are really starting to develop. They looked bigger in the evening than they did in the morning. It was over 90° f yesterday and I woke up to 50 this morning. I'm sure these big temp swings don't help much. 8/30 Rained last night but I watered slightly as there wasn't much rain. ADDED TWO MORE I.R. CAMERA'S last night. I feel more secure as the area is also protected with motion sensors and a whole bunch of other stuff I'm not going to mention. Anything bigger than a porcupine and things get bright and loud and signals get sent, roads blocked ECT. Not my first rodeo deep in the Maine woods. The grow will not be left alone and hadn't been for a few weeks. Anyway I lifted a 5 gallon bucket and found more earwigs. It jives with some of the damage I've been seeing. I'm thinking of spraying spinosid instead of BT tonight. At least the buds are starting to fill in. They don't seem to bother those as much. They did bite off a bunch of grow shoots though. Either way I have a few issues to deal with. As long as the weather stays alright until October I should be fine. My ice cream cake is barely flowering and it's HUGE. I have another seed that's in a similar state. Others are further along. We shall see how things go. The little ones could be transported inside at night if necessary.

8/28/2022 - 21 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The third week of vegetation of my Mandarina XL 🍊🍊🌻 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - I had to adjust the dosage, after the first dose of nutrients, the lower leaves of the plant lightened a bit, this was especially visible on her sister Orange Sherbet Auto, which burned the tips of the lower leaves - after this week I reduced the dose by half 🍃🍃 Hesi: Hesi Root Complex I give this root stimulator for root support, although Jungle Indabox also supports root growth, namely: Jungle Urban A - (N-P-K) - (2-1-6) Everything for healthy growth and formation of the root system Atami - ATA Calmag - I missed completely Advanced Nutrients - Bud Candy - I also adjusted the dosage by half 🍬🍬 Pre-flowering: This week the classic white hairs indicating the female gender appeared on the stem 👩‍🌾👧🏼 Light: Mars Hydro TS1000 - really great lamp with sufficient lighting and energy-friendly 💡💡 Training: Topping: I usually top in the third week of the plant's life, just like this time. However, now the girls are very advanced in growth, so they will have more main branches 🌴🌴 LST: Two days after topping, I anchored the lowest branches to the ground with metal clips, tied the higher branches with a string towards the edges of the flower pot, so that the light would shine on each of them 💡💡 Defoliation: In the next two days, I cut off all the large leaves that were shading the branches 🌞🌞 The girl is no longer a child, she is a strong young lady, full of branches and leaves. Its color has also changed, it is now deep green again. The stem is coarse, so I assume a strong root system. Alaskan Purple is growing great. She is in mid bulking under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She is developing some big colas. She has a fruity smell as well. She is eating and drinking a lot daily. Looking good beside some minor ph rises. I have addressed it and added more bloom booster to help stabilize the ph daily. Hopefully everything stays on track, and might get a awesome finish.
