-Cotton Pad method - before putting them into cotton pads soak seeds in bottled drinking water - !!! DO NOT SOAK THE PADS !!! - just give them a few gentle sprays with a mist sprayer then put 2 seeds in 2 cotton pads like a sandwich and spray that sandwich again. - put cotton pad Sandwich in baggie with little opening for air circulation and spray into baggie one Last time - everything together in an dark medium warm spot and wait for about 24-48 hrs

I broke the mainstem performing LST😬🙄😳...Idiot 🎭... Repaired her with some tape, Guess no more LST training for her hehehe.. Actually, she started performing better after the break 🤷‍♂️...So perhaps it was a blessing 🙌. No nutes,No problems

New week, new growth.. Will hopefully start the LST and Topping in a few days. They are really starting to grow. Fan leaves looking healthy and big. Girls coming with vigorous growth now, everything dialled in and happy. Just adjusting the EC/pH as needed when the girls show me the relevant signs/deficiencies if any. D31/D35- Decided they were in a good enough place to start topping the girls, all 6 topped and just some defoliation of the bigger fan leaves that are shading the growth shoots some HST was also done. We were also due a water change, so I cleaned the whole system just to keep things extra cleanly, very important in a RDWC system. I also switched over to a sterile system instead of using beneficial bacteria so I will experiment and see how this goes. Time to let the girls ecover before the next training session. Cruise control for now.

Week 6 At the beginning of the week I simply finger pressed the new node growth to begin separation and branch direction. 3 days after the last topping, I set up the tomato rings and attempted to tie down train the branches. In retrospect I should have given another day of growth before trying to tie to the new nodes. One plant made the LST training without issues(green tomato ring), however I snapped 2 center colas on the second plant(orange tomato ring). From experience I know that these will not produce tall colas since it happened so late in Veg, so I decided to completely remove them and will monitor for any new growth on those nodes to remove it. So now Im growing an 8set Mainline And a 6/4 set Manifold: Mainline : is a planned topping and defoliation of every cola that makes all topped splits have roughly the same distance to the roots for water ways by removing all other growth along at the same point on any cola. Ideally this helps generate mostly equal buds along the whole cola after each topped split and then the whole plant without having to use scrog nets and just local support ties instead. In a Mainline you remove any other growth that would otherwise need those water ways to grow as well, so Manifold: is the same thing as Mainline but in Manifold you leave a few branches to grow from a lower start point on any cola and then remove everything else. Ideally this gives mostly the same benefit as Mainline but if planned correctly allows you to be finished topping in just 2 separate topping days rather than 3 separate topping days. (I am using it here to correct this late veg mistake in my breaks) The tie downs are positioning 6 of the colas to grow out flat until it can reach the outer bend of the tomato rings where I will allow them to stretch straight up in bloom. 2 cof the colas will have the lowest node of braches growing up in the middle for a total of 4 branches. However in the 8 cola plant I am also training 6 to the outer ring and 2 colas to grow up in the center of the ring. Feed this week was again an auto pot reservoir feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 360ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 40ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe above). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and ph balance this week was for 6.3. Next week will consist of more LST training with a simple move of the wires as needed. Feed will increase in total ppm and bloom mix and I plan to reduce ph to the 5.8 range slowly, so about 6.1 this week and 5.9 next before flip on week 9.

Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2 (Flowering Plants)- This week, I believe the stretch pre-flower phase is over for both of these Phenos! They are now begining to really stack on those nugs. Number 1 has been on its same purple kick and appears to be purple to it's core! Both Phenos are showing long pistils hairs and have already began to build some trichome shelves! #1 still prays very hard daily, while #2 holds its leaves upright but not over a flat plane ever. I gave another 1/4 cup of build a flower to each plant, and a 1/4 tsp of TM-7 today. Today I went through and defoliated some stray leaves and really underdeveloped branches. The smells while I was doing this, were fantastic; like a smarties or sweet tart candy, but not runtzy it's very hard to describe. Definitely excited for the upcoming weeks! I'll be pushing the lights to 100% this week, pulling 400w from the wall for the stacking/bulking weeks! Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2 (Clones)- This week the #2 clones were topped, so now all the clones in the tent have been topped once. The branch growth has improved and they took it well! The weather is getting warmer, so keeping the tent well ventilated is key. I did notice a few springtails walking along the edge of one of my pots today, so I plan to treat this with Wettable Sulfur tonight. I have read these are not the worst pest to have by any means, but you definitely want to keep the population under control at the least! I went ahead and put one of the #1 clones back in the mini tent to make some space in the 55 inch. It was starting to get a little crowded. Why hello, if you are still here thank you for the love & support. I cant believe we are already on the start to week 3 of bloom! This lady here has been streching the last 2 weeks! During the first week of bloom I gave her nutrients with both bloom a & b as well with bud candy! Then water in betwen watering. Shes been needing watered everyday in this 10 Gallon pot! So im very careful with the nutrients and keeping a close eye on her! Ive also used dried coconut powder with irrarated, ph balanced water. To help the roots absorb the nutrients and really up take! Im beyond ready to see what week 3 brings us! Ive been behind on defoilation only taking about 3 to 5 leafs a day just to try to get other coals light! If you have any question feel free to ask!
