Also got more self-tapping screws. --- For the netting, using mason string. Usually use the braided nylon, but the twisted variant is a lot cheaper. --- To build the frame, I cut the 1in PVC pipes down to two different lengths: ------ [» x2 @ 42.5in «] – Front / Back ------ [» x2 @ 44in «] – Left / Right --- This makes the frame slightly thinner from left to right. --- Saving the extra piping for future projects. - [+04:04]: Okay! The new frame is built and looking sturdy! --- Did not use any glue and simply dry fitted each component. --- For easier fitting, smoothed the ends of each pipe with sand paper. --- Also marked each pipe to indicate the front, back, left, and right sides. --- For the fittings, used corner fittings and have open slot facing downwards. This way I can add the legs. --- After the frame was built, marked and drilled screws about 3in apart (self-tapping). Removed over 75% of overall growth leaving several branches and nodes. - [19:44]: Done and wow what a difference! --- Pretty much removed all growth leaving a few nodal growth sites to heal. --- This is my first time going this heavy and am hoping that they recover. --- If this bonsai defoliation heals up with healthy growth, this can also be an alternative to a full plant cycling. --- Anyways! - [19:46]: To preserve the genetics, made sure to cut clone cuttings from each mother plant. --- To ensure successful rooting, took several cuttings. --- Made sure to clean each cutting by trimming most of the branches off leaving the top one or two nodes. --- Did not cut any leaf fingers and made sure to cut the tip of the stalk (about 45°) before placing into the cup of aloe solution. - [19:55]: Placed the fresh cuttings into the 3x3 veg tent. --- Have each cup resting on top of the corresponding mother plant. --- Okay! This may be my solution to maintain mother plants longer between cycles. --- Mother clone cuttings are also looking healthy and ready to be rooted! --- Was originally planning on rooting all of the cuttings, but since the mother plants are recovering better than anticipated, just going to plant one of each pheno. --- Let’s go! - [21:23]: Filled a measuring cup with 1.5 cups of RO water. ------ Added a pinch of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] ------ Added 1/64tsp of Horticultural Aloe ------ Added 1/32tsp of Mycrobe Complete --- Mixed the solution thoroughly. - [21:26]: Dropped 4 Coco Coins into the measuring cup. --- The coins immediately started to expand. ------ [» ~10 MINUTES LATER «] --- Placed each fully saturated Coco Coin into half-cut solo cups. - [21:41]: Using a squeeze bottle filled with Clonex, --- Gently filled each pre-made hole with Clonex rooting gel. - [21:43]: Time to plant the cuttings! --- Using a pair of clean trimmers, made a final 45° cut. --- Also stripped and scrapped some of the stem’s outer membrane. --- To help with planting, gave each Coco Coin a squeeze to loosen the coco. --- Made sure to insert each stem straight and snug with the tip about a 1/4 inch from the bottom of the Coco Coin. --- Also secured the stem by pinching and pressing in the top of the Coco Coin. --- Once each cutting was planted, - [22:11]: Placed each pheno into the propagation dome’s tray. --- Made sure to keep each clone properly tagged. --- Added 1/4 cup of RO water to the bottom of the tray. --- Placed the side extensions onto the tray. - [22:15]: Misted the top of the propagation dome before covering the cuttings. --- Vents are fully closed. --- Also lowered the intensity from 5 to 1. --- At the current light intensity (LV1), the PPFD is around 110 μmol/m²/s which gives a DLI of 7.13 mol/m²/d under an 18/6 light cycle --- Will check back daily to cycle the air under the dome. - [22:17]: Placed the extra mother cuttings back on the rack. Will try to keep these cuttings alive until the planted ones root. --- Will need to change the water every day or two. --- Also need to water the Heady OG and TKO clones. --- Ca-Caw! Stay lifted! - [19:19]: Filled a pitcher with 16 cups (1gal) of RO water. ------ Added 1/8tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] ------ Added 1tsp of Stash Blend --- Mixed the solution before pouring 6 cups straight into a pump sprayer. --- Gave the sprayer a good shake before spraying the entire solution onto Heady OG’s straw mulch. - [19:52]: Repeated this process again for TKO. --- Depending on how growth develops, may start feeding these ladies weekly. --- From personal experience, the veg phase can easily be grown with straight RO water. --- Flower is probably the most important time to feed because there are more roots and the plants are trying to produce more biomass. I think. --- Anyways! - [20:10]: In the veg tent, repeated the watering process for all mothers (1 cup + 1 cup RO each). --- Focused mainly on the straw (2 cups each). - [20:13]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. --- Wow what a grow week! --- The difference in growth from Monday until now has been incredible! [END OF WEEK 16]

(Days 21-28) (Day 23) I like the amount of stretch I’m seeing on practically all the plants. I'm going to lower the light at the end of the week to stop the stretch. The more stretch they get in veg the less I have to lollipop or prune down the road. Makes lst easier too. I’m going to try topping this week. Last time I topped at the 7-10th nodes and didn’t get the best horizontal growth. This round I’m ready to give everything 3 or more toppings, stay on top of training and defoliate much less. This soil looks insane. I should have added a thicker layer of oats because it’s starting to look proper. (Day 24) Got my stuff from the hydro store today and amended my soil again. Next visit I will be grabbing a P booster like bat guano before I enter flower. Today, I got the 2gal pots, some primo worm castings, 5-2-4 insect frass, 0-0-22 langbenite, 1-0-3 alfalfa meal and an exhale co2 bag. Guy at the store said it gets his 4x4 tent 1000ppm+. It takes a few weeks at least for it to start putting out any amount of co2. I got the room sealed and two fans bowing. I fed a compost tea with a little bit of each dry amendment, BSO dry compost, boogie brew base and worm castings aerated for 24h. I diluted it to about 850ppm which still might be a little high. (Day 25) Opened a bottle of EM1 that was improperly stored and it exploded all over me and part of the tent. I wiped off the plants but there is still specks here and there. Cleaned it off and sprayed with method1 pps. (Day 26) Topped 9/15 plants. Will do the rest next week once I see a little more growth. 5 of the bbb’s I started 6 days after everything else so they are still quite behind. I’m going to push the transplant another few days until they recover. Going to start lst after transplant. (Day 28) Transplanting into 1.6gal pots that I thought were 2gals tonight... Depending on how many females I get, they will be going into either 3, 7 or 10 gallon fabric pots. Growth is looking solid so far, zkittlez and the 3 WW’s are leading the pack in terms of growth speed and cotes are yellowing out. I’m pretty sure what I have is a zkittlez bagseed but there is also a strong chance it could have been from some shitty Canadian biker weed. I accidentally misplaced the seed so it’s possible it got mixed up and I germinated the wrong one. Judging by the rapid growth I’d say that’s a fair bet. Biker weed is notoriously fast growing. Either way it won’t be hard to tell once they’re in flower. The white widow is probably going to be a breeze. I’ve heard that’s why it’s so popular too. It’s just a hardy rookie strain with good resistance, decent quality and above average yield. A sure investment. The blackberries are lagging behind but I’m sure they will blow the others away in terms of quality. One of the tunas looks great and the other is a stubby runt. The stubby runt I currently have in flower is killing it right now so I’m not writing it off yet. Can’t wait to see if the tuna god produces some nostalgic smells. Tuna strains are still super popular on the Canadian black market. I plucked the first set of leaves that were starting to appear on each plant. These branches almost always turn to larf and they're so small I can't that stressing the plants out at all this early. If anything, the zkittlez and white widows need to slow down a bit anyway. I’ve been doing a shit ton of research over the past year into what causes weed and cigarettes to have black ashes/poor fire holding capacity. Smoking black weed drives me crazy because it’s all the legal and black market have nowadays. The cigar industry has numerous studies on the cause of ash color and burn rate and apparently it has to do with the ratio of mineral content in the soil/water. Soil/water that is high in phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and other heavy metals will burn poorly and reduce to flaky black ashes. Whereas soil that has higher levels of potassium and calcium carbonate have thick uniform white ashes with no streaks. Calcium carbonate (wood ash, biochar) can also prevent heavy metals in the soil making them unavailable to the plant. I’m discontinuing my “Organic cal mag” as it is full of chlorine which I did not realize when buying it. I’m going to be pretty cheesed if that stuff ruined the burn of my current flowering crop. My dog also found and destroyed my Alaskan fish fertilizer so that’s being discontinued for now too.

Really starting to frost up and beautiful smells ranging from sweet earth to danky dank. Struggling 2 keep humidity down and had 2 cut a small amount of mold from Finnish frost:( added trays of moisture crystals 2 combat but need a dehumidifier.

The buds are getting bigger and icy, it seems Delta 9 did its job good. You can smell the fruity odor coming from the bubba buds. I hope they get a little bit fattier to compensate the short height. Can´t wait to taste them :))

19.9 5th flowering week done. Healthy girls growing nicely. All got used to new homes pretty fast almost instant. Also growth is good after topping. I'm happy how these plants look. I think I might just fit them in there. It's gonna be a jungle tho 😂 I think I'll put net in to help spacing... Strawberry Lemos are almost same looking just few cm diff in height and one is little smaller than other two. Cbd Shark is wide and green looking really good . Day 61 - 24/11/19 Stopped adding nutes a few days ago and decided to flush. only feeding pure phed water now for roughly the next 5 days or so and then harvest time! Smell is insane! buds look a bit small but full of green/purple colours. so excited to be at the finish line for this one :) all the gear i need for harvesting, drying and curing is on its way so all i have to do now is keep watering and waiting :) Night 61 - Update pruning shears arrived! I decided to snip one of the side colas to dry and cure. the smaller bits of buds came off the stem while trimming so i cant hang them up to dry like the bud in the video i added. ive stored all the trim from the Dwarf diary and the side cola for making edibles this week. got a nice collection going now. and i added pictures and a video to show harvest and my temporary drying solution. Next update will be the full harvest so keep an aye out for that. Happy growing!

At this stage, I’m using the full lighting setup I have available: 730 nm far-red — 5 minutes at the end of the day. 450 nm blue — 4 hours during the peak light period, starting 4 hours after lights-on. It was originally meant to help control stretching, but it arrived too late, so now it will mostly be used to support terpene production. There are some studies around that. 40 W lower canopy light — no idea what the result will be, first time trying it. Main 320 W light with UVA. UVB — 1 minute every hour. You can tell the light is a bit too much. The leaf color on #4 looks slightly faded, especially where she got too close to the lamp. But it does not look critical yet, so I’m not backing off for now. #3 and #2 have some marks from UV burn. No big deal — they should adapt. I’ll try running UV every other day for now, since I still can’t control it remotely. I finally found a 20 L reservoir for a reasonable price — just a plastic barrel. I installed it, it fit into the old spot, but I didn’t notice one important thing: the water level in it ended up higher than the pots and drippers. The result? 1.5 liters of runoff, plus another liter on the tent floor. As they say: “Physics, you heartless bitch.” Other than that, everything is fine. Runoff is different for every plant, of course. The girls turned out very different — each one doing her own thing. One has 6.8 pH in runoff, another has 4.8, but visually they still look strong. They are growing every day and already starting to smell, again, each one differently. My favorite is #3. At first, she gives off this minty, floury smell — not exactly cookie or dough, but slightly sweet. Then, if you touch the trichomes with your nose, it feels like falling straight into a berry smoothie. Literally gives me goosebumps. But she is the only one like that. The others are more like sweet, earthy cookies, with a distant mint/eucalyptus note and some gas in the background. The first little frost of trichomes has started, and judging by that, the finish should be pretty snowy. Basically, I’ve now brought my whole arsenal into play. From here on, it should be calmer: just watering and watching the buds swell. As for the nutrient mix: potassium is around 150 ppm, phosphorus around 80 ppm. I reduced nitrogen as much as I could — now it’s around 100 ppm. Calcium was lowered to 100 ppm too, mainly to bring nitrogen down even further. Magnesium is around 80 ppm. Plus monosilicic acid and Hesi SuperVit.

Yeah well this orange cookie is a beast , stretched like a beast and full of bud sites she’s smashing thru her feeds and loving the Plagron feed you could fill a 4x4 with just this girl . 2/19 Week 8 Controlling the stretch somewhat by keeping strong blue light in the spectrum. Wont start flower under HPS again, will wait till stretch has finished. The FFt-7 seem to respond most to this, the FFt-5 not as much but still slowed down. Major day coming Saturday everyone back into one tent and that undergrowth is getting trimmed! Driving me nuts Wont need to worry so much over height at that point. Adding that small amount of PK has really spurred a lot of bud growth, looks like the guys knew what he was talking about. 2/21 Could not wait so... Lower End Defoliation Day! Cleaned them all up for their last day in Moya (veg tent) before moving to Enterprise (Flower tent) ... heh Walking nuets up 2/22 in the new digs Both the 600w HID and 150w LED are now in the tent = 750w Everybody is on the Enterprise now. 2/23 white tips back dropping back down to 4ml/gal on the CT 2/25 Cutting back PK to 2ml/gal Pics for Fast Buds on leaf oddity Raised HID a couple of clicks getting some praying leaves underneath it.

Yoyo 🤙🏽 I've been away for a while, but the next update of the project is coming, after some minor problems with the lamp settings, I gave the bushes a little over 2 weeks more veg to regenerate and recover, which made my veg much longer, but oh well... the selection is over was also done and only the prettiest and strongest plants remained, already 11 liters of pots, it's getting dense, so today I change the light to 12/12 and let them start blooming. Apart from that, everything is fine, the girls are nice and healthy.
