I think there’s been some sort of salt build up / nutrient lock. The lower leaves have been turning a lighter green and some even yellow on SL plants. Most stems are red. Seems like it’s a pH problem. I flushed them with 4-5 litres of water to reduce the nutrient concentration in the roots. Going to introduce molasses in next feeding! Organic Unsulphered And also stop the Micro (nitrogen)

Well its was not the easiest cycle.I make some mistakes and cant deleaf plants as clean as i want cause scrog.so thats not the highiest result for this strain.

Buds are getting denser, some nitrogen deficiency started on lower leaves, a little mpk burn on big leaves , this monster is ready for harvest but I will give it another week or so coz budds are fattening quickly.

She's coming to an end, lots a cloudy trichomes, will be harvested soon

Day 49 - Had to put the 3 Girl Scout cookies on a 12/12 light cycle to get them to switch to flower for some reason, first time I have had that happen with autos but all the plants are doing good, 2 of my strawberry pies are showing a little calmag deficiency but overall they are doing great and getting extremely frosty! We’re now fully in production mode!🔥 The stretch is definitely done, and she’s putting all her energy into bud development. The trichomes are multiplying nicely, and the smell is becoming more and more intense, fresh lemon with a subtle sweet twist.🍋🍬 The bud structure is quite different from what I’m used to, more airy and elongated, kind of sativa-like. Curious to see how this one finishes up. Still healthy, still cruising, let’s see what next week brings!

These girls are staying happy yes they are!! Put them into 1 gallon on Saturday now they have slowed back to there water/ feedings every 3 days. Will let them get used to there new home and will top them before to long to make them bush out! Still just steady marching here. Much love

Day 72: 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off the same with ventilation. Ferilization is the same. Water intake also remains the same 200ml per day. Humidity approx 35 percent. Day 74: I just checked the trichomes OMG this is quick one it is done getting amber I need to harvest after tomorrow. So she wont get water today tomorrow and Friday is harvest.

Week Five and Flowering has begun Will fold in Bio-Bloom and replace Fix Mix with Bio-grow , may add some Phos via top dressing as well. Yellowing continues to recede just not fast enough for my comfort. Brandy has obviously stunted considerably and Maggie at least somewhat. Could not expect differently Moving to Flowering tent soon as its clear, couple of days at most 10/28 UPDATE Going to play on a couple of hunches at next watering. Need to get a TDS meter soon, got a feeling it would help. Ever since we went to BioBizz we have experienced a variety of oddness in the vein of this grow. Now long term since we are switching to coco and Flora nuet line that is solved but short term I am switching to Dr. Earth Flower Girl for remainder of grow. Every feeding/watering will be @6.5 PH to 20% run off and checking PH on that. Of course this will be modified based on results. Schedule is a single top dressing at 4 tbs (roughly 2 tsp per gal of soil) covering with 1/2 inch min of coco and 50% perlite as a mulch. Layla must go on her own feeding schedule as she is just so much bigger and drinking well. Will do the feed when moving to Flowering tent in a day or so as that will be about time to water. She looks good if a little darker green than I like. Were it only Layla I might not suspect anything... meh Here is where Grow Diaries saved the day , by going back and looking at past grows we came to suspect the nuet change although initially results were great problems always seemed to follow. In my reaction to that, not knowing, I may have made other mistakes, likely in fact. Its a solid organic and may head off some issues. Simplify As for Bandy and Maggie, still have that bottle of H2O2 on the shelf, need to see some serious improvement real soon. Getting to be now or never Later: Talked to the owner of a hydroponics store who is also a long time grower that knows these nuet lines cold. His take is that it is absolutely the Bio-Bizz nuets, seems they are hard to run alone as they have holes in their make up which will cause mystery deficiencies in some plants and soil mixes. That really pisses me off LoL , my fault though just glad I have partial explanation. Good thing is he was able to show me the CocoTek Grow and Bloom lines and that is going to be the choice, two part feed without complications. Simplify heheh 10/29 Confirmed the dye reading of pot PH on all three by another method. Took a handful sized soil sample from as deep as I could of each pot and placed into a cup, soaked with 7.0 water let stand 15 minutes to stabilize, tested pour off, all at 6.7 so that is NOT the problem. Damn it This is the reasoning: Water goes into the pot at 6.4-6.5 takes the entire system to that level temporarily, it then begins bringing it up to 6.7-6.8ish and that friends covers the entire range of nuet take-up in soil. Going to cheat a bit high and make it 6.5 solid as its good on acid content. Least thats how I see it, back to basics so may as well. Top dressing Layla today with Flower Girl, others follow when pots dry out a bit more. Moved to Flowering Tent , something came up and they still have not been feed will try and do it this afternoon. 10/30 Fed Recharge 0.5 tsp - Kangaroots 5ml - CalMag 5ml - PH 6.5 for one gallon over 4 tbs top dressing Dr. Earth Flower Girl and one inch of mulch (50% coco/perlite) 11/1 Defoliated Layla (about 3%) so the center of the plant gets good light, did a little training on Brandy to keep things dry, Maggie... man just letting it grow I am just flabbergasted at this yellow leaf thing Pics at watering tomorrow 11/2 No water today, they dont need it.

Die fünfte Woche startet mit einer (Teil-)Entlaubung, das Blätterdach ist wieder sehr dicht gewachsen. Die Blätter bekommen wieder ein satteres grün. Irgendwann innerhalb der nächsten Wochen sollten sie ihr Geschlecht zu erkennen geben, noch sind sie etwas schüchtern. Ich sehe die ersten Anzeichen, kann es aber noch nicht klar deuten - abwarten und Tee trinken. Ich habe dem Wassertank meines Autopot Systems einen Luftstein hinzugefügt. Wird das einen großen Effekt bringen? - keine Ahnung. Kann es schaden? - ich denke nicht. So langsam zeigen sich die ersten weiblichen Vorblüten, ich kann aber noch nicht bei allen 13 Pflanzen mit Sicherheit das Geschlecht bestimmen.

The two plants are growing very well! I'm happy with DWC. It's easy to manage and and small enough to fit perfectly also in small growboxes. 😉

Ginger Nut Cookies 23rd Jan 2020 Seems like I got another mutated plant to play with 😬 The top leaf which was the second set to appear is mutated and similiar to one of the Sour diesel autos Im growing which is apparently a polyploid. As you can see in the above pics I removed the weird leaf and I now have two distinct tops rather than the usual one forming. They do say two heads are better than one 😀 Anyway I gave this little ginger nut a weak mix of Superthrive and Seaweed solution plus a tiny bit of Great white Mycorrhizae powder. This will be the first documented grow of anything Ive created thru my "Fuck around experiments" I call them that because I really dont have any plans or goals as far as breeding is concerned other than learning how it is all done. When Australia finally bites the bullet and goes legal I want to have the basic skills needed to create my own seeds for my own use. Basically a strain that is well acclimatised to my environment with maximum potency , flavour and terpene profile. But most importantly for me is a strain that is a IBL and Homozygous, so that I get very similiar results every time I grow it. Anyway Thats enough of my rambling lets get down to the Music part of this weeks update. I hope you liked the AC/DC I played last week , This week is INXS probably our greatest export music wise other than the Beegees I suppose. Sadly Michael hutchence the lead singer of INXS died in an apparent accidental misadventure but some say it was suicide . We'll never know for sure. She has slowed her growth and begun putting on quite a bit of heavy buds. The 3 inches of growth is purely due to the increased size of the top cola. She has been drinking much more water so, I have reduced the nutrients per feeding since I am watering much more often. The plant doesn't give off much of an aroma but, if you rub a leaf between your fingers the scent smells similar to Garlic. I have reduced the number of large fan leaves so as to allow more light to reach the lower buds. My huge photoperiod Sativa is about one week away from finishing so, by next week I should be able to move this plant into the 8-foot tall tent. This will allow me more headroom as well as provide some side-lighting. That should help the lower buds to receive more light and hopefully bulk-up. Well, that is it for this week. I hope people are following this grow. I haven't heard from anybody so, it's almost like I am producing this diary for myself.

Welcome to Week 8! Both plants have been growing a lot lately! I started to bend the cola of Plant 7 because she is finally 10” tall 😁 I will need to be extra careful though! Last grow I accidentally broke a cola while trying to train it! Ended up fine, but don’t want to do it again on these!

All 3 zushi going strong. Gelonade to be seen sprouting. Moved them all to pellet and soil in the same time. Currently all of them are in small greenhouse 27 temp. Humidity around 70.

Cooled off, some strong winds and a decent amount of rain, but no structural issues at all. 98% Humidity at night, and most of the mornings. Nice upcoming weather for a week, planning a final compost tea, then the weather looks absolutely miserable. Still spraying BT and LCPT a few times a week. As soon as I start loosing the battle against budrot I'll harvest her early, can only fight mother nature so much. Fingers crossed on another 3 weeks, but I doubt it.
