12/4:
I planted a pair of seeds of each strain and they all emerged in about 72 hours.👍
Special thanks to Spliff Seeds for allowing me to test more of their killer genetics!🙌
12/10:
All 4 sprouts seem healthy.
12/12:
I added a few drops of superthrive to the feed water...yumm...
12/14:
I added a couple of teaspoons of bushdoctor boomerang to the feed water today..let's get this party started!
12/16:
I potted them up today and fixed up a DIY sugar/yeast CO2 generator.
12/18:
Not getting a good germination rate on some of my other strains this grow caused me to forestall giving nutrients to these guys so that the replacements could catch up, and now I've got obvious N deficiency going on with them..they'll recover, but damnit...
12/19:
They were dry enough today that I went ahead and fed them some One, Kangaroots, and Superthrive...comon girls, kick it into gear!
12/22:
I fed them with full strength One and some humic acid, then foliar fed with Boom Boom spray and Axiom Harpin proteins.
12/24:
I really soaked them well today with One, Kangaroots, silica, and Superthrive....about a half gallon each.
12/27:
I fed them each about a half gallon of One, silica, and added some ca/mg.
I set the timers for 12/12...they should be pretty perky after their first night of beauty sleep.💤💪
I am gonna continue the 460w of 5000k+ lighting treatment for another few days, then I'll remove the little lights and hit them with the whole 720w of 3000k plus reds.
1/3/2022:
I fed them One, silica, and gave them a little Open sesame so they've got plenty of P and K available if they want it. Also started adding a little signal and sweet & sticky.
Also started UVB stressing for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening.
1/4:
Today is the 31st day from seed.
1/6:
Fed them One, signal, sweet & sticky, silica, kangaroots, ca/mg, and open sesame.
Made a fresh batch of sugar and yeast for the CO2 generator.
1/10:
I fed heavily today with One, signal, humic acid, silica, sweet & sticky, and open sesame.
1/13:
I fed today..same stuff..
The slow Crystal White grew a little bit...I think..
1/15:
Ya, pretty sure I see a little new growth on the slow one.
Her sister is sprawling out nicely, as are both Afghani Golds.
1/17:
Fed today
1/21:
Fed today....switched from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz and increased carbohydrates/sugars and silica a bit.
1/23:
Definitely seeing some growth on the shortie Crystal White....FINALLY!!!
1/24:
I shoulda fed today, but had no time...
1/25:
I fed today with One, signal, beastie bloomz, silica, sweet & sticky, and humic acid... also foliar fed them with Microlife Maximum Blooms
1/30:
Fed today...same stuff, minus the humic acid, same amounts.
2/14:
Decreased distance between the lights and canopy. Let the maximum swell commence!
2/16:
Fed today..increased sugars/carbs. This was probably the last feeding with Beastie Bloomz..switching to Cha Ching at next feed and cutting back on the One.
2/20:
I fed today. Started them on a full dose of cha ching and liquidsoil, and stopped adding silica.
Turned on the dehumidifier.
2/21:
Increased UVB exposure by another half-hour per day.
2/23:
Fed today....reduced One....added 1/4 tsp/gal of Cha ching, plus signal, sweet & sticky, and liquidsoil.
Increased UVB exposure by another half-hour per day.
2/27:
Fed today.
2/28:
Fed today...man they are fattening up nicely...all of them!
3/3:
Fed today. One Crystal White and both Afghani Golds will be flushed at next watering, but the Crystal White that was last to emerge is still covered in fresh pistils.
3/7:
I flushed all but the biggest Crystal White today with 5 gallons each of warm water and liquidsoil. The one I fed got a full dose of cha ching, signal, sweet & sticky, and liquidsoil.
3/11:
Live trimmed all but the big Crystal White
3/12:
Harvested and washed all but the big Crystal White...flushed her today.
One plant was a bit smaller than the other in stature, but she produced very well. Very dense buds, and lots of them.
It didn't have much aroma while growing, but you can def tell it's got a skunk in the woodpile. Jarred up and curing for a month, it reeks like hell.👍
Plant A: 155g
Plant B: 181g
These plants grew almost identically. Very consistent cultivar!
I'll grow it again for sure. It's one of those throwback strains that seems "pure" for lack of a better word. No candy flavors, crazy colors, or hybrid buzz...this one is probably 95% Indica, at least. Short and stocky with very dense buds and that magical mountain incense.
