Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Buds are starting to stack up, increased PH to 6.2 for a better Kalium Uptake, lowered the nitrogen to 100ppm since the plants seem to be slightly high on it.

I can see the finish line. I started the flush this week 5/2/19 nothing but Harvested Rain Water 25 PPM filled both 5 gallon pots nice and slow to saturate the coco until I had runoff. I checked the drip pan PPM was 1986 I'm sure the residue from the other feedings were still in the pan from weeks past. I collect a clean sample of runoff today 5/5/19 with a 5 gallon flush on each pot and check that. 1100 ppm I used the Flawless Finish on the 5 gallons to clean out most of the salts let the plants slowly eat up the reserves in the fan leaves. I am seeing the yellow fade of autumn now. will let dry out for 2 more days and Flush again with the Flawless Finish on 5/7/19 PPM 390 I am seeing the fade to yellow on the shorter one the tall one is still green but the PPM on both are at 390. another 2 day dry out last flush 5 gallons of R/O WATER. on 5/9/19 The time-lapse files got corrupted 😥 but I shot a live video of some close ups. Cut of the SCROG and wow are they sticky. the smell is really strong now. Thanks for all the support and advice on this grow. I have to have patience for the chop, all most there.

One week of 12/12 and there stretching out nice I've defoliated the central cola to allow the side branches to catch up. Will start to feed soon

Aug 9: Lemon Cream Kush is doing fine and is starting to stretch a bit. I’m surprised how much it grew last week. Got the UV led lights from AC Infinity going. The sunlight gets weak here quickly starting in mid-August and the UV helps form trichomes. Used it last year and it seems to help. Nice weather days only as these lights are not intended for outdoor use.

At the end of Week 3 this is how things are looking for the Alien OG, could be looking alot better. I will give them time to fully recover from the transplanting and topping and see how they get on in the next few week's.

In general, similar to the autoflowers, we collected at most a quarter of the total volume. We'll take it back and do the trimming on site. Of course, you're interested in the numbers. In total, there were 14 trips to the plot. Mostly, we focused on weeding and foliar treatment. We harvested approximately 15 plants (10 autoflowers and 5 early bloomers). Altogether, we filled 4 containers each holding 6 liters. Each container fits 350-400 grams, which means there's about 1.5 kg in all the containers, plus a 2.5 kg bag of good trim. Approximate yield per plant (inflorescences with a small amount of leaves!): Early bloomers: around 150-200 grams per plant (we didn't collect the fattest buds because, unfortunately, they got moldy, so the numbers are approximate). Autoflowers: around 70-90 grams per plant.

Growing right along. I've got the carbon filter working overtime because these ladies STINK. as soon as the reservoir is empty I'll be pulling them out of the tent for a super heavy final defoliation. Top colas seem to be combining for some HUGE nugs. They are drinking an insane amount of water every day. My 15 gallon reservoir lasts maybe 3 days. Can't wait to try some blueberry headband when they are done.

Day 40 of flower and I'm pretty impressed. Once again I wish I had trimmed the undergrowth more. I can see light through the canopy so it's far better than last run, but there's going to be a good amount of LARF down there. When I'm done working in the tent the trichromes are visible on my gloves like sand so I'm getting really hopeful it'll be a good washer.
