Week 9: Flower - The First Harvest & Final Countdown! ✂️🌿 THE BIG CHOP IS DONE! Gorilla Z #1 has been harvested, and we're officially in the drying phase. Meanwhile, the remaining ladies are marching toward their own finish lines. Gorilla Z #1 - HARVESTED! 🎉 She's down! After weeks of growth, recovery from overwatering, and pushing through to the end, this girl finally got the chop. Trichome Check: Mostly cloudy/milky (peak THC production ✓) A few amber trichomes starting to show Minimal clear trichomes Harvest Timing: Honestly? I was in a rush—ran out of flower to smoke! 😅 But the trichomes were in a good window, so it worked out. Sometimes necessity makes the decision for you. Could've waited for more amber for a heavier effect, but she was ready enough. What's Next: Drying phase begins now Aiming for slow dry (60°F, 60% humidity if possible) Then comes the cure—patience will be tested again! The Relief: Finally got some homegrown coming down the pipeline. The timing couldn't be better!

Update day 14 flowering: These two ladies couldnt be different. the Orange Sherbet is tall at around 28inches with golf ball sized buds from bract to tip and the Cookie is petite with airy little buds and a small frame. She had had to have a boost up on a block to keep up now. I wont expect her to yield too much but as a Kush she may sneak up and surprise me. I am happy with the O.s as she is so happy and healthy , she is also beginning to smell a little now too UPDATE ######## The Cookie is no longer in this diary. i will grow her out but want this Orange Sherbet to be able to enter the comps here. she is a beauty and deserves the exposure. lol

Real good progress this week. Shes looking lovely 👌🏻 Apologies for the lack of pictures through the week (and quality of what I did manage to get) it's been a mad one for me and I haven't had the time I needed to give full attention to the garden and someone's been tending to it while ive not been able to. She's absolutely loving the shogun range and doing real good on it 👌🏻 Really nice structure and seeing her get her stretch on now

This was the squatest clone and grows thick heavy glowing marshmallow colas. Smells so sweet too soon to tell final taste.

First off, I hope all who visit this journal watch the timelapse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The GSC is in the foreground. Comparing the beginning to the end shows just how dramatically my plant has grown in the past week. This plant now has a photo-period neighbor! I have changed the light schedule back to 18-6 to accommodate. Her chronicles will be in a separate journal. Towards the end of week two, I noticed the leaves were forming brown spots that I took as a sign of calcium deficiency. To treat this, I used a gallon of (hard) tap water, adding calcium to the reservoir. Luckily this seems to have done the trick! The spots have been absent on all subsequent leaf growth. Sometime in the middle of this week, I had to re balance the pH from ~7 to ~6. Perhaps this pH fluctuation came from the tap water transfusion. In an effort to raise the RH in the tent, I've repetitively spilled a small amount of water on the floor of the tent. Doing this keeps the RH around 45-50%. I've made some other small changes to my grow setup as shown in the pictures. Prior to this week, I'd thought my plant was hopelessly behind developmentally compared to other user's because I'd compare their week two plants to mine. Luckily, this week has seen some growth! It's crazy how fast they shoot off after their first three-fingered leaves form. The first "real" set of leaves to grow in (not three-fingered yet), seemed to take forever to grow into their full size while not much else (besides the roots) seemed to grow. This week's three-pointed leaves have practically fully formed already. Alongside them, are the beginnings of yet more leaves! I'm not certain what I will do this next week. I may start LSTing this plant, though I'm not sure when exactly I should do this. My original plan for my plants was to implement a screen of green using a trellis. I have sense realized this may not be the best approach while using a DWC, because water changed would be made much more difficult. Have any of you DWC growers experiment with this? Is it worthwhile? I will likely not replace the water for another week, though that's not set in stone. I appreciate any advise regarding the training techniques I mentioned, water switch outs and anything else that may be relevant to this grow. I will more than likely ask a few designated questions. Took some clones 1 week before flipping to flower but forgot to take pictures. The video of the clones are from oct 1st. The Turnt smelled like chocolate cover strawberries but now are smelling of garlic and pepper with a bit of undertone of strawyberries. The Diesel smelled like lemon pinesol but now smells of citrus mixed with gas. The Banana Clipz smells of berries mixed with skunk. Paradiso smells of citrus mixed with fruit. Lung Buster smelled lightly sweet at first but now smells like berries mixed with a undertone of garlic,funk, and gas . Spilt Paint smells of berries mixed with diesel and funk.

Hello,,, fin semaine 6, semaine de 2 floraison. Le plantes se portent super bien malgré le manque de place,, le stretch est vraiment impressionnant, plus de 20cm en 1 semaine! Aujourd’hui j’ai fait une défoliation pour enlever les parties les plus basses qui n’arrivent pas à accéder correctement à la lumière, et j’ai aussi retiré toutes les petites pousses sur les parties basses qui prennent de l’énergie pour rien, pour vraiment essayer de laisser que les fleures exposées à la lumière afin qu’elles puissent bénéficier de toutes l’énergie de la plante et aussi pour limiter le stress sur la plante. Les premières fleures commencent a apparaître tranquillement. J’ai augmenter doucement les nutriments. Pour le moment tous semble aller se dérouler normalement. Encore 5 semaines avant la date prévu. Voilà pour cette semaine. Happy grow... 😎
