🇺🇸Week 3🇺🇸 – Growth Explosion & First Training Back again for this week’s update! The Mother Gorilla is going crazy—she’s growing at an insane pace, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. The plant is super strong, and the leaves are just massive. Some are reaching up to 21 cm long, which is wild. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. And honestly, I have to say—I’m seriously impressed by Formulex from Growth Technology. I’ve been using the same nutrient solution since the start, and the results are just insane. It’s such a simple product, but what it’s delivering so far is absolutely incredible. I’ll be switching to growth fertilizers soon (they’re on the way), but for now, I’m sticking with Formulex, and it’s honestly blowing my mind. Environmental Conditions Not much has changed on that front. The environment is still dialed in: • Temperature: ~22-23°C during the day, 18°C at night. • Nutrient solution temp: Holding steady at 17-18°C. • pH levels: Hovering around 5.8-6.0—had to adjust it slightly during the week, but nothing major. It’s stable overall. • VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit): Still around 0.6, which seems to be working well. As long as it stays below 0.8, I think we’re in the sweet spot. • Humidity: Holding at 70%. Everything’s been pretty stable, and it looks like the plant is loving it. Major Work This Week – Defoliation & Topping This week was huge in terms of plant training. The foliage was getting super dense, so I went in for a heavy defoliation, removing all the big fan leaves. On top of that, I topped the plant—cut the main shoot to redirect energy towards the secondary branches. The goal is to push those side branches so they can take full advantage of the SCROG I just set up! Now, it’s all about recovery. Hopefully, she bounces back strong, and we can really start working that SCROG. Alright, that’s it for this week! Let’s keep an eye on things and see how she responds. La Mother Gorilla part en vrille, elle pousse à une vitesse folle et franchement, je suis super content. La plante est ultra vigoureuse, et les feuilles sont juste énormes. Certaines atteignent 21 cm de longueur, c’est complètement dingue. Je crois que je n’ai jamais vu ça avant. Et franchement, je dois le dire—je suis vraiment impressionné par le Formulex de chez Growth Technology. J’utilise exactement la même solution nutritive depuis le début, et les résultats sont juste dingues. C’est un produit hyper simple, mais ce que ça donne pour l’instant, c’est vraiment incroyable. Je vais bientôt passer sur les engrais de croissance (ils sont en commande), mais en attendant, je continue avec Formulex, et ça me bluffe complètement. J’ai aussi topé la plante—j’ai coupé l’apex principal pour rediriger l’énergie vers les branches secondaires. L’idée, c’est de booster les secondaires pour qu’elles profitent à fond du SCROG que je viens d’installer ! Maintenant, elle doit récupérer. J’espère qu’elle va repartir de plus belle et qu’on va vraiment pouvoir bosser ce SCROG. Voilà pour cette semaine ! On garde un œil sur tout ça et on voit comment elle évolue. We have been introducing some nice cold temps at night, which is bringing out some autumns colors and extra frosty buds. Will continue to get temps as low as possible when lights off. We will give the plants about 36 hours of darkness before harvesting on Sunday. I will take photos of all the individual pheno's as we harvest :)

Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis Jour 31 arrosage avec 2 litres d'eau ph6.3 à laquelle j'ajoute 4ml de rootboster cellmax, 3ml de cellmax bio organic bloom et 3ml de cellmax bio 8-2-2 par litre d'eau Jour 33 pratique de la technique du topping (voir video) je précise que si cette pratique simple combiné au pinçage d'apex (voir semaine précédente) est faite au bon moment peux offrir un très gros rendement même si le rendement n'est pas mon but principal ma curiosité me pousse à essayer ces deux techniques combinées. TOPPING (ÉTÊTAGE) Les plants de cannabis poussent verticalement. En le faisant, les feuilles nourricières et branches se mettent à pousser horizontalement ou en diagonale à partir de la tige principale. Le topping ou l’étêtage implique de couper la tige principale de la branche verticale entre les nœuds. Essayez de le faire avec des ciseaux ou une lame de rasoir stériles. En coupant la tige principale, deux branches secondaires vont se développer en devenant des tiges principales. Elles pousseront à la diagonale au lieu de pousser vers le haut, ce qui rend le plant plus court et plus facile à gérer. L’étêtage évitera au plant d’avoir une croissance ressemblant à un arbre de Noël. Cela aidera à donner au plant de cannabis une forme plus adaptée aux environnements de culture en intérieur. Vous pouvez continuer de le faire au fur et à mesure de la croissance des branches. Vous pouvez tailler la partie supérieure de chaque branche et faire pousser un plant bonzaï dément. Assurez-vous simplement de ne pas aller trop loin et de ne pas vous retrouver avec quelque chose d’incontrôlable. Certains cultivateurs recommandent d’attendre environ 30 jours dans la vie du plant avant de procéder à l’étêtage. Il fait subir beaucoup de stress et un jeune plant pourrait ne pas pouvoir le gérer. Nous vous recommandons aussi d’attendre une ou deux semaines après votre première session d’étêtage avant d’en commencer une autre. For my first legal grow, I was gifted a giant Sherbert Creamsicle (Clone of above): This is a positively delicious and unique herb that I have fallen in love with. Additionaly, handed 2 bushes of my first cross BMX(Clones of the small one above) which turned out to be better than I expected by far. I have Transplanted all three into 7 gallons of Roots Organic 707 with 2tbs per gallon Bio-Live. Because she is so hungry, I applied 2 doses of 7-1-1 grow terp tea. Once before and once a few days after transplant. They are looking pale but coming around soon I think. Then it's time to flip my first big one. Sherbert Creamsicle is in the back and the 2 BMX are in the front in the pics. There are some small BMX testers around the sherbs too. It is done. Light cycle switched. Now just water and wait. Day 5: I fertilized lightly with a 1 tsp/gal tea of 50/50 Roots organic Grow/Bloom. I hope that from here I will be able to rely on all that soil to take her at least halfway through flowering.

[ Information ] For all grow information, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] (Flower) Day 1 - Light intensity increased to 65%. C02 increased to 1300ppm average. Day temp/humidity 85/70 (1-1.2VPD), night temp/humidity 75/65 (.8-1VPD). Fed a diluted compost tea mixture before lights on. Base water was R/O and tap water mixed lightly with silica and Tribus microbes. Tea was a mixture of Fish Hydrolysate, Bat Guano, Molasses, Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, and Earthworm Castings. 8 gallons of tea were added to 72 gallons of water mixture for an 80gal batch total. The batch was mixed for a half hour before feeding to the room. I did not PH or PPM test the mixture, organic material is hard to get an accurate PPM reading so the numbers are useless to me. I will be working to bring the lights to 100% power over this first week of flower. Day 4 - Light intensity increased daily, currently at 90%. Will raise to full power tomorrow. C02 increased to 1800ppm average. Temp and humidity for day and night are still the same. Lights were raised slightly to maintain 12 inches from canopy height, and a few growth nodes that were above the canopy got topped. Watered today with an 80gal (1.25gal p/pot) mixture, 10% tap 90% r/o water. 6.8 PH, 2.2ec. Foliar sprayed yesterday before lights off with a neem mixture for weekly IPM. Canopies are stretching relatively evenly, though I will be adding in support nets within a few days to help maintain the even spread. I've run this strain before so I'm fairly confident that I know what to expect during these few stretch weeks. Day 7 - Lights have been at 100% since day 5. C02 still 1800-2000ppm on average. Plants are stretching quickly into the lights, I have yet to readjust their height. The best growth usually happens when I do nothing, and I've done almost nothing the past couple days besides enjoy the unusually warm spring weather my area is currently experiencing. Watered today, 100gal (1.5gal p/pot) mixture, <1ec. Mainly an organic feeding for microbe health, also wanted a bit more runoff than normal due to the high ec feeding previously.

Week 2 into these babies, as you can see the seedlings had a bit of a struggle, however they are bouncing back real quick, iv been foliar feeding with a solution of 100ppm and they are eating up all they need, watch this space!

Even with the heat she has given me quite a big yield and that's with lack of watering and also training badly so I could have got a better yield if I have had paid more attention to her so until next time ✌️ out my fellow Growmies
