It’s my second run growing San Fernando Lemon kush, I had to repeat this lemony flavor.
Even though I’ve already grow this before, I’m still very excited to grow it.
Strain characteristics:
This strain is an amazing hybrid between two great genetics.
It crosses San Fernando Valley OG Kush which is what brings that lemony zest to the garden coming from the Lemon Thai which is crossed in that mix and then that’s crossed with Kosher Kush.
The aroma of this strain is pure limonene it’s quite pleasant and very intense. Hints of wood, cypress, a bit of spices and a solvent scent which combines it all and just smacks you in the nose.
The plant is a Indica-Sativa hybrid but it leans to the Sativa side, she’ll stretch on you quickly.
This cultivar develops lots of trichomes and has a strong presence of the limonene terpene being ideal for resin extractions, from personal experience I highly recommend making some rosin out of these lovely flowers. Very tasty stuff, I might just set aside one whole plant to press. …getting ahead of myself here, still have a long way to go before I see any buds.

Expectations & Training method:
As I’ve already grown this strain, I know what to expect so I’m hoping things will run smoother.
Last time I only topped her and did a bit of LST guiding the colas. That technique was great but she stretched much more than I was expecting which gave me problems but ultimately gave me a good yield which were 82 grams. This tent is taller so I have more space to work with, let’s hope things run smooth and I can improve the quality and yield from last grow.
Dropped 4 seeds but only 3 made it. One of the three sprouted 15 days later, while the other two sprouted almost over night.

We have had another very hot week. All my girls are suffering and display some ugly looking leaves. But so far the buds are doing well.
Both plants look good but I prefer the sturcture of the mainlined plant. It gets cleaner and longer colas,

WEEK 2 DAY 14
Since last week the babies have taken off! They didn’t have much light until yesterday when I added another 100w led and since then I’ve seen a huge difference ! They are looking super healthy the roots said fuck the pot and grew right through it I’m actually super interested in seeing how these grow up..
The 3 clones that were separate last week are now moved into one single pot to further develop the experiment.
They are on the same feed as the mother with flora grow/micro/bloom and cal-mag .
And In the last picture you can see my ghettos man way of cloning .. going to see which 2 out of 4 are better rooted and I will move those to a pot in about a week or so.

Well... I have some great looking buds happening by this point in my opinion. Unfortunately I didnt end up with a super red looking plant like I wanted but it is changing colours and definitely has purple hues at this point. The smell is getting thick, thank god I purchased the Can-Lite carbon filter or my whole place would be reaking.... I should be getting close to finishing according to Sweet Seeds website, but upon inspection there is still a while yet to go... They've been getting 24hour light the entire time and good airflow. The shorter plant seems to have progressed further at this point, trichomes are standing on end and I feel good about my grow.

7/29/24 week 8. Flipping is around the corner. I have to defoliate before the flip. I added recharge nutrient this week to help the ladies have a quick recovery. I'm only feeding recharge with a 3 gallon res fill. I usually fill up by at least 6 gallons. What are yalls experiences using recharge?

Day 78-
Still haven't got around to staking. Since both plants were watered last night, no more water till harvest on Day 82. Yellow Markers final weight after a week curing is 14.6 grams. I still have some medicine left so this will have atleast another week and half to cure some more.
Day 79-
I decided against the bamboo stakes. But will have them for future grows. I think I'm just going to ride it out till day 82. Hopefully a buddy comes through to help with trimming or my weekend will be very busy 😂

Day 82-
Harvest Day! I got started late in the evening and wasn't done till the morning of day 83. I'm beginning to think I should have waited on harvesting Yellow Marker but you live and you learn! These plants smell so damn good. The Runt I may end up getting an eighth to a quarter from. She only had 5 branches which were still pretty shitty but had surprisingly tightened up bud formations. But that's on me, not genetics. But the Blue Marker...her genetics were really on point. I'll atleast get an ounce...maybe two out of her. Both plants have a strong lemony-citrus/piney smell to them. Can't wait to try it out! While trimming I accidentally cut off a few pieces. Instead of tossing it in the trim bin (which is where most of the runt went lol) I left them infront of a fan to quick dry them so I could try them out. I will also be drying these probably 2 days longer before placing them in their jars. The other ones I had to take out multiple times to get the moisture correct. I will be back to post more journals (auto amnesia haze is next) and also post a taste test/harvest results as soon as I'm done drying. Overall for a first timer, I'm impressed on what I've learned and what I've accomplished. Kudos for the insight @NeedsMoreFans
As to not waste, the doggo is very happy with her fan leaves as treats. The sugar leaves and trim I will be making into a Green Dragon tincture with 190 proof Everclear. My goal is to be able to take one ml (an average eyedropper) and mix it in with something so I can dose during the day and have it on me, and to not have to worry about taking time to roll a joint or to carry anything on me. Or well...smell like I smoked. Will definitely let you guys know!

SUNDAY 5/19:
I accidentally left my UV timer in the "ON" position all night and half of the next day...fearing sudden death, I have moved everybody that was almost ready into the dark tent, including the Amnesia XXL Auto and will start harvesting them tomorrow..maximum UVB stress for about 20 hours...if it works out that they are even more potent than expected without turning brown overnight, I'll claim it was "intentional," and purport it as an "advanced technique" 😉
MONDAY:
She's still sitting in the dark. I flipped on the green light and went into the tent for a sniff test on everybody...wow...she smells funky! 😳

She was topped for the last time, 16 apical summits were born 😎. She has been under x2 MarsHydro PAR38 LED bulbs for a week, but I think she didn't like those. She developed some burnt spots, my guess is that IKEA bulbs are safer than MarsHydro ones. Plus, I'm getting sick of those pink-ish lights. I sold my x2 COBs to buy x3 LM301B PCB boards (QB-style, in my opinion one of the best ways to go nowadays). Otherwise she looks great, I'm having hard times trying to keep everything symmetrical but this will be easier as soon as I plug my new quantumboards in the tent. Stay tuned folks 👋

The girls are developing properly, frosting is beginning to be clearly visible.Also the smell has become clear and very intense.White Widow X Big Bud is the most noticeable.From today, the girls are switching to a different spectrum of light, UV light will be added.

Girl Scout Cookies# Day 56#
With a little delay because I'm a lazy stoned person, and in addition the responsibilities regarding the plants are already starting to grow, and I also have a lot of work around the garden and then I don't always arrive in time to release the update.
The plants are progressing well, but now they are already hungry, so the next watering is for food.
Two days ago they were topped for the third time, I also topped the two highest side branches.
Yesterday was the end of their eighth week, the pictures are also from yesterday.
Last night I sprayed them with SMC for prevention, but none of those pests can harm the plant outside as well as inside..first of all, the plants are much bigger, and therefore have much more leaf mass, and secondly, it is nature, there are many of them in nature, the only thing that can destroy them all are caterpillars during flowering and mold when the humidity is too high or when there are frequent rains, everything else does not worry me at all.
Tomorrow I will move them somewhere where there is a lot less grass because now they have already filled this space and they can't expand any further, so in order for them not to get too long and to go wider I have to move them where the grass and other plants won't bother them.

I just noticed my PH has been around 7, and a couple of the seed mothers are showing CAL/MAG deficiencies..
I use well water, and I don't have to adjust it in the summer, but around late fall the PH raises.
I forgot to get good pics of the seed mothers, since I was focused on the STS formulas at the time, but these are the Pollen donors transforming into male flowers. 5 weeks old.
The seed mothers are coming along nice with dime sized buds on them. I Topped them all at the 5th node, just before the cola, so the canopy would all be even under the lights.
I just sprayed these reversed buds 1 time only on day 17, after the first STS treatments, with 50ppm of Gibberellic Acid (GA3) to stretch them out away from each other.
Gibberellic Acid causes plants to stretch enormously, and PPM's of 50 to 100 can cause females to reverse to males.

Day 71. Girls just perfect ;)))
As any grower i would want, bigger, fatter, stronger, but they are in that range anyway, now main thing not to screw up ;)))
Girls on nute, water, water+calmag, water+silicaAcid, water+molasses rhythm and just love life !
Day 72. Got more presents, thank You Zamnesia ! Asked for 4 strains, got 2 ;))) Still 10 beans and full grow by one house, like i always try to do. Always wanted to try out Runtz, all grows that i saw - was sick ! Kalini Asia - new taste and strain for me 4sure !
Day 76. All is good , they are missing CalMag from those lights a bit and with such amount of buds, but should be fine. Todays watering was only with CalMag, ph 6.5. Next watering full nute blast, should be fun to observe, they are starving a bit , so i hope for huge grow rate after.
Tried 4 month cured weed at a friends, he had to chop girl on week 6 of flower, with nutes still being fed. After an hour head pain , ash was still black ...
I would never try not to flush ....

This week has been an interesting one to say the lease. It's been in the 100's in my grow tent even with air circulation. So I decided since my outdoor has been growing good I put them with um. Over all still watering straight well water 2 liters daily with no nutes. I do spray once a week for preventive maintenance with no issues. All in all Happy Growing.
