Chonga is doing nicely at 7", Cheecha still a little behind. The soil has been staying moist for awhile, even with light watering and I was worried about root rot. So, I let them go about a week without watering. After a light watering with the remaining 1 ml/2Qt nutrient/water solution (about 1 cup each plant), I took the plunge and decided to try Topping (or FIMing), which I did a few days after watering. I'm also concerned about soil PH. I've been testing it with the 3-in-1 tester, but it always reads about 7. I tried the thing out in pure vinegar, but it gave the same results. So, soil PH is anybody's guess. I eventually bought a digital PH tester for liquids. BIG CHANGE: On Day 27, I switched over to a new, 1200W LED grow light.

19.1.25: I have watered all plants with 300ml of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3, with 1/3 jar of black strap molasses with Ecothrive Biosys-1g. I am looking to increase the sugars for microbial life and plant processes. It'll also add some extra Calcium, Magnesium and trace elements. I also, watered all plants with Bloom nutrients. Using dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients: (ml/l) ;- ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 1g of Ecothrive Biosys I watered around 1-3 litres per plant. Depending on size and requirements. I'm still spilling water containing the nutrient solution. 🙄 I am using this to rub into the leaves. I think a nice foliar massage won't do any harm, make the most of the situation. The plants have become very hungry and thirsty. Increased the water by double. I ran out of my TNC cal-mag. I decided to order the Xpert Nutrients brand, as I like their products. It isn't organic as far as I can tell, but I don't think it matters too much to me, to be honest. I also want to top dress this week, so I bought some Green Leaf PK bud Booster dry amendment from Amazon, too. I'll mix it with canna coco, perlite, worm castings, and Ecothrive Life Cycle. 24.1.25: I went ahead and top dressed all the plants with 4.5 gallons of my supersoil custom mix. This consists of the following substrate and dry amendments: ♡ 60% Canna coco ♡ 20% Worm castings ♡ 15 % Perlite The remaining 5% consists of the following dry amendments;- ♡ 10g Ecothrive Biosys ♡ 1 Tsp RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules ♡ 3 Tsp Vitalink Bat guano ♡ 4 Tsp Diatomaceous earth ♡ 8 Tsp Ground Cinnamon ♡ 10g Green Leaf Bud Booster PK booster. ♡ 3 Tsp Ecothrive Life Cycle. •Worm castings for some all round nutrition. •Cinnamon for mildew and bug repellent. •Canna coco base substrate. •Perlite for adding oxygen to the root and soil system. •Green Leaf Bud Booster PK Booster for blooming. Flushing looking a lot better than I thought

Grow diary 11 Stage 4 Days 31-40 Day 31 Turned power up to 85% on the mars hydro ts1000. Mines one of the old ones you need to stick a screw driver in to alter it. Day 36 Removed the single finger fan leaves and the 1st 3 fingered leaves. Day 39 Removed the 4 fan leaves from where she was topped last week. The start of this stage we hit a heat wave, day after day of heat. I had my humidifier on most of the 9 days. The tent didn't hit the temps I thought it would so that means I have my loft under a bit better control. The plant really kicked into gear this week, around day 34 she started to explode in growth. So far I have only done some lite defoliation by removing some of the 1st leaves that weren't getting any light anymore. The Bruce banner was probably hit the most with over watering but is bouncing back. She is the ugly duckling of the grow. Plants 1 & 3 are doing good. #1 is a beast so far. I will probably start flushing plant #3 here soon, she got stunted and I don’t think she’s really packing on weight anymore. So part of plant #2 was dry enough for jars after 5 days. Dry trimmed about an 38g. Still have about 2-3x as much left to trim. I think I’ll wet trim the other two it seems way harder to dry trim. I’ll have a total dry weight for plant #2 tomorrow.

So over the last seven days I did a lot of low stress training. Since my tent is very small, I start very early and often a little bit too aggressive. But it's weed, it's strong, it can handle it. CnW seems a little small, but there are just not so much leaves, which is a good thing. BM on the other hand seems complete out of control, but will be fine in a couple more days. And I put my net in, around 20cm above the soil. I will flip to 12/12 in the upcoming week.

Week 6 has brought about the slowing of vertical growth and the flowers starting to put on some bulk. Each time I have run this cut the top leaves will start to come in lighter than the fan leaves below. At week 6, so far they are maintaining a lime green color with some discoloration. This is not a cause for concern. Flower formation is on track and everything else looks healthy. I basically have to ride with whatever happens because I use the BeanStalk line of products for fertilization. They are a single application, controlled release formula that feed the plant over the course of approximately 90 days. This means that I never have to mix nutes. Water only and I set it and forget it. I mix in a known quantity of the product at transplant and that’s it. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is interested in simplifying their grow. The upfront cost is a little steep, but I purchased 3 pound bags of all 4 products in February 2021 and still have a ton of it left. Last time I grew this cut, I observed many of the ‘sugar leaves’ turning yellow and dying prior to harvest. That plant was grown in a 5 gallon pot, with a much longer veg time, much more vegetative mass, and was much closer to my lights. I am hoping to get different results in a smaller pot with shorter veg time and less leaf growth. When I harvested that plant, I noticed that on most flowers this was not a big issue, but over time I have found that when sugar leaves die on the plant, this is the most likely avenue for mold to develop in my room.

Flowering day 44 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey everyone ☺️. It gets more beautiful from week to week 😍👍. As usual from this phenotype, everything is black / purple again on this beautiful Pheno 😊. The buds are getting thicker and thicker and already smell extremely tasty 😍. A little PK 13/14 was added, increasing the Ec to 1.4. But that only remains for 1 week before it goes down again because plants are very small :-) Like every 12-15 days, the water was completely replaced and all electronic devices checked for safety 👍.
