"And God said, Let there be light, and there was light." Genesis 1:3 Inhale for 13s, Exhale for 13s, Inhale for 8s, Exhale for 8s, Inhale for 5s, Exhale for 5s, Inhale for 3s, Exhale for 3s, Inhale for 1s, Exhale for 1s, Alignment. 1.618 More energy, more blueprint. Electrical Conductivity refers to how easily a material or solution allows electrons or ions to flow continuously when an electrical potential is applied. Electrochemical Reactance is the opposition to alternating current (AC) caused specifically by the temporary storage of energy in electric or magnetic fields, rather than energy being lost as heat. Reactance does not directly alter a material's intrinsic electrical conductivity. Instead, it dictates how the system stores and releases energy over time, which creates a temporary barrier to current flow in AC circuits. Together with resistance, reactance makes up total impedance. Electrical impedance (the combination of resistance and reactance) in the rhizosphere dictates how easily ions and water move into plant roots, directly impacting the Electron Transport Rate (ETR). High impedance restricts ion mobility, leading to nutrient deficiencies that decrease ETR and stunt overall plant growth. Using copper and zinc plates in the plant medium to form a natural earth battery to assist with Electrochemical Reactance. The moist soil acts as an electrolyte, while zinc serves as the anode and copper as the cathode. Zinc is a highly reactive metal and oxidizes, losing electrons into the soil. These electrons travel through an external wire to the copper plate. The moisture and dissolved salts in your plant medium allow charged ions to move freely between the plates, completing the circuit and generating a small direct current (usually between 0.8 and 1.1 volts). This micro-current subtly alters/the Electrical Conductivity (EC), allowing more effective breaking apart of chemical bonds in the soil (electrolysis), making soil nutrients like phosphorus, calcium, and potassium more accessible to roots. Buried the zinc plate on one side of the plant’s root zone and the copper plate on the opposite side. Ran an insulated copper wire above ground to connect the zinc plate to the copper plate, creating a closed loop. Make sure your soil remains moist and contains natural mineral salts; entirely distilled water or bone-dry medium will prevent ion exchange and block the current.

The girls are just running on autopilot the past week. Have done nothing but give them a feed every 2 days, now increased to 5L ~1.81 ec 10-20% runoff, lights 24/0 50% veg channel only. lights fixed 1.5m from top of pot so still plenty of room to grow. They all look really healthy. 2 typical phenos here, 2 @ 16cm, 1 @ 14cm, then the other 3 are 20, 21, 22cm. Expecting to see 3 tall stretchy plants and 3 compact at the end will be introducing 15% bloom channel today to start the full spectrum and preparing them for bloom when it happens. I am not expecting to see pistils for another 1-2 weeks because of the pot size it will take a bit longer for the roots to hit the edges Week 3 day 2 update: well I was wrong. Noticed tonite we have pre flowers forming, I guess in a few days we will have pistils. Have kept veg at 55% and increased bloom to 25%. Once pistils have started to emerge will transition canna bloom into the mix

Day 61: For this week I needed to do some adjustments. Because of not having much time for 1.5-2 weeks and the beautifull weather I kind of lacked interest in them. So I didn't notice that the fresh air flow didnt reached a corner with plants, which resulted in them having heat problems and therefore falling behind. You can see this in the last 2 pictures. The buds stretched and didnt swell. It looks small and silly. Lets hope they will get better but I won't expect them to be as nice and thick as the others. Since I grow alot of plants, I do not mind, it doesn't harm me. I lifted a fan up and changed some plants location.

First 2 weeks only give light watering every 2 or 3 days, kept the lights on 24hr, kept humidity to 50% with average temp being 23 Celsius. Canna coco professional soil meant I didn’t have to introduced nutrients until roughly day 15 - 20

Starting to really be thirsty. Soon as I started the nutrients they started drinking almost twice as much water. Did some low stress training this week and probably continue tying back and levelling through the next two weeks. Since it’s an empty tent right now really letting them stretch out ;p

8/31/2024 Both plants getting their first day of bloom spectrum lighting, red spectrum dominant. Already seeing signs of flowering on Plant A - the transition into flower must have been perfect. Otherwise, this plant might be an autoflower? DLI on canopy top around 30-32. Lights set to 70% intensity. Reduced lung room humidity to 50% target. Lots of rain lately and the dehumidifier is working hard to keep up with 60-80% outdoor humidity. Tent humidity is hanging out around 60-65% 9/2/2024 Checking over both plants and doing light defoliation of larger fan leaves. Looking for more pre-flower signs on Plant B. Small nodules appearing on plant B. slightly odd formations compared to plant A. I will be keeping a close eye on this over the next few days. Water level issues from last week are well within control. Since the fix was implemented the system requires about 2 fewer gallons to keep the system cycling as intended. Continuing to top the reservoir with fresh nutrient water with about 1 gallon of water per day. Still have not conducted a water change from the system. I will be planning one here closer to the end of this week when I have a little bit more free time at home. 9/3/2024 Plant A has a few signs of natural varieagation on fan leaves. Also found this cool leaf formation on a few of the larger fan leaves (see picture above). Plant B pre-flower signs still look odd, but monitoring closely. 9/6 Plant B still unconfirmed as a female. Preflower expressions are looking slightly more female, but no hairs yet. Both plants are looking healthy and doing well! The flow issues with the return line was due to a root mass making its way into the line and getting stuck. I was able to pump it out with some suction. Flow is completely returned and both buckets, back to stress free hydro for a few more days :D
