Week 8 Veg – Go Big or Go Home! 🌱💪 Hey, Grow Fam! 🌿 What an intense week it’s been in the grow room! This was one of those “go big or go home” moments, and I decided to take it to the extreme. I’m holding off on flipping to flower for just one more week because the plants are filling up the space beautifully—I can’t help but push things to their limits and see just how much these ladies can give! 😎✨ This week was all about maximizing growth and creating the best canopy I can. I did a light defoliation, just here and there to open things up a bit, and then came the bending—LOTS of bending. 🌱 I’m working hard to create an even canopy, though with all these different genetics, we’ll see how close I get! 🤞 Regardless, I’m giving it my all, and I’m super pumped to see how everything will respond in the next stage. The final touch this week? I ended it with a bold 36 hours of darkness to prepare for the big flip next week—flower mode, here we come! 🌸 What Went Down This Week: 1. Canopy Work – Bending and training all over the place to try and keep things even. It’s a real challenge with different genetics, but the payoff is going to be worth it! 2. Defoliation – Just a little bit of leaf removal here and there to help with airflow and light penetration, prepping them for that final veg stretch. 3. 36 Hours of Darkness – Closed out the week with a full day and a half of darkness. The 36 hours of darkness is a technique I like to use to help signal to the plants that it’s time to transition from veg to flower. 🌒 By giving them an extended dark period, I’m mimicking the natural shift from summer to fall, when daylight hours start to shorten. This kick-starts the plants’ flowering hormones (phytochrome), helping them shift into flower mode more smoothly and quickly. In my experience, this method helps speed up the flip, reduces early flowering stress, and often leads to a more uniform bloom across the canopy. It’s like giving the plants a little nudge to let them know, “Hey, it’s time to bloom!” 🌸 This technique is especially useful for growers like me who want to maximize the efficiency and performance of their plants. 😊 4. Lost my notebook with all my notes on this grow. All I have are the pics which I'll post. The dates of the pics may not correspond with the weeks in the diary. Keep up to date if you are going to keep a diary online and keep a written one. I definitely learned my lesson. Several weeks of notes on 5 different strains lost. Well enjoy the pics at least.

So far so good, I guess. I think magnesium deficiency in some plants but I’m not quite sure yet. I have plan to feed some nutrients in next few days. And I’m really looking for some suggestion and that would be my pleasure.

bueno en esta cuarta semana el olor se deja dominar ya dentro del espacio de cultivo cada día se le ajusta mas el lst a cada una para que los nuevos brazos con flor vallan recibiendo la misma luz que el resto de sus brazos mas grandes , llegamos al acuerdo de que el filtro de carbono es necesario así que instalaremos dentro de unos días mas para esconder olor dela plantación te de plátano para el crecimiento delas flores y engorde de flores durante su periodo de floración y misma dosis de riego cada 5 días j-12 dos dias para su 4 semana se apretan y ordenamos las ramas mejor para su efectividad S-14 ultimo.dia de su cuarta semana y cumpliendo un mes de vida y crecimiento ya bien acomododados y estructurados y floreciendo con fuerza mañana comenzamos la quinta semana esperamos unos dias para volver a amarrar ya es nevesario gias pa

Day 14 - Everything seems to be going great, not much to say right now! Will be feeding tomorrow! Happy growing friends!✌️🏼🌱 Day 15 - Feeding day, started a nutrient comparison test between fox farm & technaflora which is why I have both of them listed but I am not mixing them! I have 2 plants on the fox farm & 1 on technaflora! We shall see which comes out better! Day 16 - Ladies are looking great!✌️🏼 Day 17 - Got watered with PH at 6.4 today, all 3 ladies are coming along nicely😍 Day 18 - 🌱✌️🏼 Day 19 - Ladies got watered again today with PH at 6.4, will probably be starting some LST in the next week sometime! Im coming closer to the ✂️ time, i tried some pics without the lights on to show a more realistic approach of how plants are evolving besides al the self inflicted plages and nutrients burn , i can wait to the plants mature while im searching for the 🕵️‍♂️to check if thricome ratio should be mostly amber ... Because fuck im such a sedative whore, big gaz leaks homies!!!!

End of week 5 bloom has been the same. One day full nuts from go box as recommendation, base nut doubled plus: GH silica, AN bud candy and FF Cha Ching at half dose. The Next day full base nut, full dose of Cha ching and beastie bloomz just below half dosage. Plants seem to love it. It does get warm when lights turn on so I have the door open while lights are on. Smell is lovely. Can still smell it even with the carbon filter at full speed. Its a mild smell. Getting very happy with the out come for being my first grow. Still too early for the final out come. Wish me luck.

Few buds but fat and deep purple💜

Still no major problems so im very happy. Theyre all continuing to fatten up and i took the first microscope shots this week and they look amazing. much more dense than any of my previous. Gorilla is behind still, guess i got a slow phenotype but its still moving along at its own pace. Starting to see amber on the others so i reckon its right at the start of the possible harvest window. I have taken off a couple of small low down popcorn buds to see how they are. I am just very impatient haha. Hopefully it continues well for the next 2 weeks!

These two are looking like their gonna be different pheno types cause Grapey Walter #1 has remained short and wide af but Grapey Walter #2 is towering over all the others in height which shouldent be a problem, also Grapey Walter #1 is flowering a bit slower than the rest 👌🏻 Still looking good, starting to frost up now also added an 4” air intake and hung it up to blow air across the canopy.

This was a really easy strain to grow!!! I had some personal problems while I was doing this diary!!! So didn’t update as much!! But so far this is my best one yet and best strain I have grown and the best harvest and yield I’ve had to this day!!!!

I’m loving these yellow training clips I bought off Amazon. Super easy to attach and adjust. Seems to be less hard on the stems vs. the wire I’d been using. Starting to node out big time!

Se trasplanto de maceta 0.5 a maceta de 1 litro para poder ir colonizando el sustrato de a poco. El tallo que se está formando va bien, no se han espigado tanto, sus nodos están muy cercas uno del otro. Luego del trasplante se aplicó foliar Insta-Green de Grotek

9/7 Day 7 Things are ok watching Jen closely and dropping PH slowly from 6.8 to 6.0 by the gauge (no more dye... yea) to see if its a lockout. Lowered lights to 24 inches as I am seeing a bit of stretch. Just learning how to use the light in absence of anything approaching instruction :) Folks I like this light, so far... awwwwright Transplant time coming up in a week or so, be getting the pots ready with a full wash of nuets just to get things rolling in the soil. 9/11 D11 Transplanted to five gal pots, soil is mix of 707 with 1 tbs Recharge , 3 tbs Dolimite lime, and 5 tbs Happy Frog Guano Culture , Watered with feed of Kanga/Fish Mix/Big Bloom 0.5 gal each Staying on 24 hr lights till end of week 9/14 D14 Finishing the week up with a feeding Fish Mix 1 tsp/gal Big Bloom 1 Tbs/gal for 2.0 liters Lights now on same timer as the CBD - 20-4

4/4/2022 After being gone for 2 weeks on a vacation with the family! I came home to an out of control jungle! These girls exploded with growth! I had to do a heavy defoliation and lollipop! I turned the light to 80% and it’s about 26 inches away from the top of the tallest plant.
