Day 31 - 38 (Day 32) I’m going to lower the humidity in the room to 55-60. Still no bananas but I’m still quite worried about #3 fully popping and ruining my whole crop. Since there is a good chance it’s going to herm, I’m going to give it with a small feeding today and watch it like a hawk this week. I think the boost actually made a decent difference in #5 from last week. I’m seeing slightly fatter main colas but that could just be from less topping/smaller plant or less nitrogen. I’ve decided to push my luck and give a boost to each plant. These things just aren’t filling out like they should. They look like they are on day 23 not 33. I’m going to top dress 3 tablespoons of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and later tonight I’m going to water in a low strength feeding of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m going to give a final heaping tablespoon of nature’s pride bloom to #5 so it can stretch to the end. I’m also going to lower the lights by a few inches. The tallest cola is now about 13 inches away and the rest of the canopy is at about 18–24. If I see signs of light stress I’ll raise it back up but I’m sure it could use the extra light on the lowers. (Day 33) I’ve been reading that bigger plants just take longer to mature and that’s probably why my plant hasn’t fully filled out or is about a week behind. I still could have done a better job defoliating some of the smaller larf branches on the bottom which just robs the good branches of energy. The more I think about it, the more I think I did a very poor job of defoliating the middle canopy. I’m still seeing lots of larf and small buds on the inside not getting much light. I’m still really worried about herms after finding that branch so I don’t want to stress them anymore. Removing suckers now is pointless. I missed my window of opportunity and now I have to deal with it. I’m going to slide an old DVD player underneath #6 to bring it up to canopy level. It’s lower buds are definitely not getting enough light. (Day 34) Ever since lowering the light, the canopy has gotten a few degrees warmer. I’ve noticed the buds don’t feel as sticky on top compared to the lower tucked branches that feel almost wet with resin. Outdoor weed grown in my climate will never reach the temperature where it degrades resin luckily. (Day 36) The buds are definitely swelling but not to the degree I want. Call me picky but I prefer my nugs as chunky as possible. I’m seeing lots of pistils but not much nug matter. Ive heard too many pistils can be caused by the overuse of alfalfa, kelp and seaweed extracts because of the natural PGR’s in them. I’m definitely going to reduce the amount of that stuff I use next round. I hope I’m just wrong and this tent is going to really fatten up this week but I have my doubts. (Day 37) A purple fade is starting on the underside of every plant except the bush who still is super dark green still. Last watering I got a nice amount of runoff so I’m just going to leave her until the end. I’m seeing a bit of yellowing on #5. I’m going to give it one final full strength feeding plus some rock dust and oyster shell tomorrow and that’s a wrap for nutrients. I might as well hit everything else with a final low strength 0-0-15 too. (Day 38) I’m amazed at how much this stuff smells compared to my last round. It smells very earthy and floral with a hint of pine. Definitely not that gassy smelling pine but more of a sweet pine.

High GD community Week 16, Zuchinis all around, tomatoes getting ready on a daily. Cucumbers are getting almost mature proportions. Everything going well. Terra preta Location: center perma garden Surface: 125cm x 105cm Depth: 115cm The hole was dug out over 3 days, it were very sunny days. 😅 Theres mostly loamsand with a small sandloam bottom that was very hard. The sand was also very compressed and hard. The top layer is this grey dusty soil of about 40cm deep. At the bottom theres pure sand thats soft, easy drainable. First step is to fill up the entire bottom with fine chopped wood, progressively using bigger pieces of wood. I try to use some hardwood like oak to for its extra K (potassium = pot ash). A bit of charcoal to. This will take the entire first day, bcs it needs to have a minimal ticknes of pure ashes of around 5cm. Otherwise, after compressing it with the upcoming layers, the ash-line would almost disappear. Not all the wood needs to be burned entirely. Its a first layer with lots of N and K. Bones can be used to in the fire making the NPK complete. But it can be added also as a separated layer. I dont have that much bone material because my 2 dogs, or eating, or burry them somewere. Little warning at the end, be aware of your local laws applied to open fires. 😅😉 After a good burn ive got between 8 and 12cm of ashes in total over the entire surface. A small layer of soil (5cm) is put on top of that. Theres no need to harden out that layer, pressure will to the work and the layers will compress over time into ideal circumstances. On to the next layer!! Next is a layer of the compost, but the part that isnt allready decomposed. Its green/brown/yellow of color. And a bit of everything, grass, weeds, leafs and some thin branches. Another layer soil to cover that up. Now i formed a thin layer of chopped(10mm) wood(beech), just enough to make a thin,almost 1 piece high, layer. On to this i added a complete wheelbarrel of compost(black) with small pieces of still not completly decomposed materials. Lots of worms here. On that, you guessed it, an other layer of soil. I try to have both types of soil in that mix, the almost pure sand and the more grey type. Next, back to the beech. This time the rest of the bag follows. Theres a good layer of around 3cm deep. On this ive layed down some new small woodsticks to make a small fire again. Starting at the center and adding some last branches i found. It turned out really smoky!! Half way the burn ive opend the core of the fire, trying to spread the small pieces of char over the complete surface. After that, i added for the first time some water here. And an other layer of soil again, this is just covering up each time. Max 5cm!! Now we are at the upper half of the pit. Still 50cm to go. Now ive added some compost again, the green/brown/yellow one, with on top of that, a 15 liter bucket with compressed bokashi fermentated kitchen leftovers. Making a layer out of that and some fresh bokashi juice with 10 liters of water to drain those benificial bacteria into to compost layer just underneath it. This layer is almost 20cm tick. Again, yeah, soil, 5cm. Ive bought some blond peat to at to to toplayers. Last 25 to 30cm of soil, is a mix of the peat(20%) and the two other types of soil. First ill do tiny layers of each, last 10cm i try to mix it. And to finish the job, ive took some 100% reused and composed soil with some perlite in it from past use. I havent watered a lot, but the meteo predicts a good amount of water in the upcoming days. The soil that stayed and didnt get back to its original place, ive used to make a new top layer on the rest of the mini field. I havent used clay because it was hard to find or just to expensive. Beside the peat(250l), i didnt buy anything. So its labor intensive, but real cheap. Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music Videos Grow Diary update 27th Feb 2020 The preflowering Stretch has well and truly begun with every branch that wasn't tied down , shooting upwards a few inches. The plant itself looks very healthy and content. Once flowering starts I'll begin to add P+K to the feeding regime. We have had bugger all sunlight here for over a week and also we have had lots of rain and wind. Daily max temps have been around the 24-25 celcius range and the minimums around 15 c. RH has been high 67% on average. That is about it for this weeks plant update . Now for the weekly Music videos. ** Last week I posted the links to three different artists who were picked by fellow growers thru the Grow question that I posted asking for requests. ** This week is back to just the one featured Artist from Australia. This week's artist is Mr Paul Kelly who is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. He has worked with many other artists and groups and is considered one of the finest singer songwriters to have come from Australia. Once again I couldn't narrow it down to just one song as he's had many great tunes but I have chosen the two with the best Music video as that is the main criteria for my Diaries Theme. It's bizarre how tall one of the four plants is getting. The other three are short - about 60 cm but the one is a good 30 cm taller. Fewer buds too. The entire plant just looks like a different strain. If it is, then I hope it's feminized - I don't want to have everything go to seed!

From the 15th day I start adding half the norm of Hesi TNT Complex 2ml/L, we test with 210 ppm so as not to burn the roots. On the 18th day, I moved the plant into a larger pot and watered it with half the recommended amount of nutrients and of course, transplanted the plant into a larger pot. On the 21st day, I did LST (Low-Stress Training).

Doing well in the soil with top dress of organic nutrients. I may do a second week of the Grow version before the transition to Bloom.

As expected, the girl grows well, the flowers enlarge, the resin appears and the girl smells wonderful. I'm running it all the time, she still has plenty of time. 😉

In this first cycle published on the site, I did the ScrOG technique for the first time, and honestly I am quite happy with the final result😊 The plants performed very well both in vegetation and in the flowering phase.👌 The only "anomaly" was a beautiful flower affected by fasciation (called "Stewie" by me😄) I hope you enjoyed this diary and that it will be useful for you in the future!😎

The Sin insieme a White Runtz sono cresciute in maniera spropositata verso l alto, ora diminuirò l azoto perché così non so dove potrebbe arrivare 😅 Stranamente quando entrò nella stanza inizio già a sentire i terpeni, di solito non mi capita fino alla 4 settimana settimana di fioritura visto che poi ho anche sempre il naso chiuso 🤔👃quindi o è il mio naso che funziona meglio o sono le piante 🌱 che vogliono già sprigionare la loro vera natura ehehe e penso che sia proprio così..sono anche loro impazienti di vedersi crescere e maturare la loro resina che servirà per tante buone cose ❄️ Nel frattempo cerchiamo di tenerle sane fumo a quel momento!!! 7th of May Day 59 day 11 of 12/12 4 plants are looking healthy the stretch has started and and the canopy is starting to get a bit dense I may rom I’ve some large fan leaves on day 14 of 12/12 to give better airflow and allow for the lower growth to get more light, I can picture the colas already 😁🍁 ppm still going in at 650 ph 6.5, i top dressed each plant with fish blood and bone mean 3 table spoons to each 3gal pot on day 1 of flower

Day 105 approximately since seed touched soil. Last girl is running, got few bugs, a bit of WPM caught bottom leaves too. Think she has 1-2 weeks, but forecast is bad, rain mostly, so will visit next week, just to check is there any bud rot ... Eventually smallest, but best girl from all Zami run. Happy Growing !!!

Che dire questa è veramente la bestia delle bestie di tutte le autofiorenti!!!! Si vede già che sarà veramente enorme più tardi, considerato mi trovo solo alla 3 settimana...le radici hanno oltrepassato addirittura il vaso in tessuto geotessile 😂 la innaffio due volto al giorno in modo da tenere il substrato sempre umido al punto giusto, (non metto mai più di 200 ml di soluzione....ma lo faccio due volte al giorno)... Ha reagito benissimo ai 3 tagli di fila e si è appena ripresa del tutto, anzi in realtà non si è mai rallentata! Questa varietà di fast buds fa veramente paura! È la più grande tra tutte ora in grow, e mi sta regalando molte, molte soddisfazioni! Quando vedi un seme diventare così grande in solo 3 settimane ti rendi conto che la banca semi produce dei semi di qualità premium pro! Tasso di germinabilità 100% (non ho mai fallito un seme) e questo e veramente tutto, ma poi... vogliamo parlare della stabilità della genetica?!? Parleremo alla fine quando questo diario sarà al culmine della sua bellezza! Intanto ringrazio tantissimo i ragazzi di Fast buds per avermi inviato questa splendida genetica e spero di coltivare tante altre schiccerie per loro!
