Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Hoy es el día 1 (día 35 desde la germinación) de floración de nuestras 3 plantas de Tropicanna Poison XL AUTO. Las plantas han sido sometidas a un entrenamiento LTS con piezas 3D para ver cómo funciona este tipo de entrenamiento. Los 3 fenotipos se diferencian claramente a simple vista, dada la diferencia de portes de cada una. La primera planta es la más alta y tiene un porte muy abierto. La segunda planta es más baja y tiene un porte más compacto. La tercera planta es de tamaño intermedio y tiene un porte intermedio. Esperamos que este entrenamiento ayude a las plantas a desarrollar su máximo potencial. Seguiremos publicando actualizaciones sobre su evolución.

Buds swelling and frosting up! Since she's been on mineral fertilizers, I've given her just plain water for the past week. Will chop her down next monday.

Happy to see the plants taking off. Watering has not been an issue with the hot weather. Give them as much as they will take every 2-3 days. Gave them kelp meal (1tsp/gallon of soil) and some worm castings this week--about a handful worm castings per pot--dry amendments are very gentle and forgiving in soil. Fems: Both identified growing solo in 30 gallon fabric pots. Not pulling the 1st female much. I did gently set her under a small tomato cage slightly. 2nd female is growing regular--no pull--no pinch--nada!--just straight up. Males--As far as the male count--currently 6 males have been removed from the grow area.
