Starting to get a bit hot in my area so I'm not sure if the autumn hues will show up as prevalent as before. But she's still kicking ass, doing her thing. We'll see.. I've just been feeding her liquid seaweed and molasses. I plan on throwing in 1 more dose of recharge by the end of the week. That should supplement the microbe content. I'm also planning on using overdrive on her the last two weeks. So two weeks from now. Other than that, I've been feeding 2-3 times per week with 1 pH 6.5-6.8 watering on in-between days. I also wanted to mention that I'm a little worried one of my Banana daddies infected this girl with pm. So I'm keeping an eye out for that. Read on an article that spraying the spores with pH 8+ water kills and prevents it from forming. So I've been spraying her every night when the lights are out, then pumping the fans on high. Seems to be doing the trick, haven't seen any spores on her yet... but I digress, 👀 on her til' she's for sure in the clear. I'm so glad i got my perpetual grow dialed in. I've swap outs well-vegged and ready to go when the time comes. Blessings on everyone who stumbled upon my garden. I hope you all have dope harvests 😎

Chemical reactions in which, a single substance splits up into two or more simpler substances are called decomposition reactions. These reactions are carried out by energy, supplied by different sources. The required energy can be supplied by heat (thermolysis), electricity (electrolysis), or light (photolysis). Let’s talk about photolysis reactions (not photosynthesis): Photolysis (also called photodissociation and photodecomposition) is a chemical reaction, in which a chemical (an inorganic or an organic) is broken down by photons and is the interaction of one or more photons with one target molecule. The photolysis reaction is not limited to the effects of visible light, but any photon with sufficient energy (higher than the dissociation energy of the targeted bond) can cause the chemical transformation of the said (inorganic or organic) bond(s) of a chemical. Since the energy of a photon is inversely proportional to the wavelength, electromagnetic waves with the energy of visible light or higher, such as ultraviolet light, X-rays, and γ -rays, can also initiate photolysis reactions. Like all other peroxides, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) also consists of a relatively weaker O−O bond, which is susceptible to light or heat. The net equation for the reaction is: 2H2O2⟶2H2O+O2 The step-wise reaction mechanism is suggested as follows (Ref.1): H2O2+hν⟶2HO∙ HO∙+H2O2⟶HO−O∙+H2O HO−O∙+H2O2⟶2HO∙+H2O+O2 Using isotope studies it was confirmed that the O2 formed is cleanly derived from H2O2 (Ref.2). Notes: The rate increases rapidly in the presence of catalysts such as MnO2 and KI (Ref.2). The rate of decomposition is slow at room temperature, but it increases with temperature. However, alkaline H2O2 is well known to be less stable than acidic hydrogen peroxide (Ref.3) even in absence of light exposure, which accelerates its decomposition (which can involve radical pathways) liberating oxygen! Day 43 - growing very well, preflowering a. defoliated some of the under runt growth b. bumped up the nutrients to my preflowering blend, 850ppm in DWC now, offsetting the measurements based of what is already in the res. c. PH is 6.5, the plant is liking the dwc, very similar growth to West Coast OG d. Fastbuds specifically recommends 6.5 PH for this strain, we are following directions e. performed some very light LST to the outside branches Day 44 - the very light LST is great a. the plant is really stretching out b. there are going to be many colas Day 45 - drinking alot of water a. growing very well, vegging hard b. added 4L to the DWC, 1000ppm Day 46 - she is stretching upward a. everything is going great, I love Fastbuds! b. when all other breeders are failing us, Fastbuds shines through Day 47 - growing well a. all is well in the world with our plant! Day 48 - growing well all over a. she is stretching upward, lowering the light a bit to encourage even more growth, 45cm away Day 49 - what a monster! a. all is growing well, in Geneva for the week, my grow partner is sending photos to me!

Day 63 Shes getting a bit of cannoning at her top leafs, probably from the light intensity. Her bud size isnt great either but shes putting on the trichome coverage now.

*Week 5 of flowering *Increased PPM from 850 to 950 * 2 plants are very late into flowering. * Nuggets looks a little big bigger but do see yellowing even with stronger nutes.

This week is pretty chill, I'm letting them do they're own things. I'm fairly new to growing, so I'm doing different techniques with each plant. I topped one of the alien Moonrocks, leaving the other and letting one go just normal. As you can see from the pictures, they responded REALLY well from LST. I've heard nothing but solid things from Twisted Trees. Some are planted in a 5 gallon bucket, and some random sizes. I got my 7 gallons too late, I don't want to risk shocking them when I transplant as they are doing fine. I'm really just testing the waters, see what works for my indoor grow. Also added humidifier, running around 45-50 percent humidity.

Started week 7 with another topping. She looks a bit of a mess ATM as I have had to bend some of her arms a full 90degrees and do some funky leaf tieing to keep everything in shape.. Nothing snapped and she seems okay. I will see how she recovers in the next day or two. Re introduced grow to her feed. I shall check back in after a few days of recovery and try to get a better pic then the blurple ones I managed earlier. Day 48 She is so strong. The topping did not bother her showing 3 cm of growth the night I topped her.. I have cleaned all old fan leaves and defoliated the mainlines. Just have 8 colas atm. I attached a ring from a plant holder to try and hold the shape. 7 of the 8 colas have grown exactly where I wanted but 1 has taken a funny turn and as a result it's grown a bit short of where I need it. I shall try to bring them all to a uniformed height then I think I'm going to let 2 more nodes grow out and if that looks like it's given me enough space I will do the final topping for 16 colas. If she looks like it will be to busy I shall stick to 8.. Thanks for looking stay safe and happy growing.😁👍🤘

Day 52 - before pic/vid pulled em both out scrubbed tanks..... moved em into a different tent, with a different light.... did up completely different solutions, and currently still building it all.... Day 53 - still buildin... vids of new home... Nutrifield, Rock Nitro, 1200-1500 ppm and 6.5 PH.... see if we can give em a good boost.... left em in pure water before puttin em in new solution.... Day 57 - pics vid.... been adjusting ph... down to 5.8.... they are just growin along nicely in the new home... got a fan for the tent... looks good tho... solution temp is abit high, fan will fix that..... changed just the tanks to 5lt Cereal containers, they are alot taller, more room below the container... fits perfect.... Que hay de nuevo familia, mis green ak xL están dando sus frutos, no veas que bonitas que se están poniendo, floración algo lenta y variedad difícil de cultivar pero que si sabes realmente merece la pena.

Chopped on day 76 from when it was planted into soil. It was always scraggly and would remind me of the gimp hand dude in scary movie 2. It pushed along. It's aesthetically pleasing and a smooth smoke but I won't be growing it again. Not a fan of the high or anything else. Will sit on the shelves in grove bags until smashed into concentrate. I ended up with roughly 42 grams dry weight.

Heeeere we go! Sorry for the late update! This is when I start the flush! I believe the plants are pretty much ready at this point and doing this will just improve the final product! Doing this took me a good chunk of time, mostly because I didn't know exactly how much of water I was going to need (it was a loooot 😫) and how hard/tiring it was to pH it as well. In the end my calculations were off, as I needed far more water than what I had (lol) so I didn't manage to do a full flush... but I still managed to lower the amount of salts and residues to a "decent" level (around 850 to 1500 ppm). I also used flawless finish so I suppose than even when I didn't use enough water that solution alone was enough to help! Besides that the rest of the week was quite calm and relaxing. June 1st A lot of indecision regarding when to take her down to begin drying, so I haven't updated for a little longer than usual. I thought I'd be updating this grow with drying/harvest photos by now, but the trichomes just aren't there yet. The plant is beginning to look a little worse for wear, especially thanks to the main cola drying out and dying after being found to be full of mold. That's another reason I've felt ready to take her down, but after some thought I realise that just means I'm ready, not that the plant itself is. We're still turning final, but I'm dialing things in for the final spurt of trichome development. Light schedule is now 11 on 13 off. Watering is still frequent, which apparently indicates a plant in full production. I'm going to take care to let the pot dry out completely while avoiding a big droop, and I've also decided to remove nutes and water without anything other than pH amendment. According to a little research larger plants operate slightly differently when it comes to the maturation process, meaning a longer term to fully mature. While the RQS data sheet suggests something like 65 days for flower, in reality it might look something like 90. Patience is the thing here, so it's all down to the trichomes at this point, which are still mostly clear, with a small percentage of cloudy/amber. As soon as we're in an obviously milky majority, she's coming down. Fingers crossed as always!

On the final few days of a 10 day flush. Will be chopping down this week to harvest and hang dry. Really excited to try this one. The smells in the room are unreal.
