Ok, so I forgot to take any pics on week two and holiday time week 3 came up real fast. so we are going to skip over any of the week two details. just watered em and they grew. This week we did a nice little transplant into their final 2gal pots. Fortified with a bunch of amendments and Acti-Sol, everything is listed in the video. Any question just let me know. I don't age my medium at all and I think I should start doing this to avoid some other things, I just find it hard to do it in winter time indoors as soil can be stinky with amendments and I like it to stay in the tent under the carbon filter. Medium I used is 40% coir, 30% perlite, 20% compost, 10% vermiculite and 10% worm castings. Then the amendments are added into that at the rate of 30-60ml per 1Gal of medium. This batch has Gaia 4-4-4, Gaia Insect Frass, Giaia Diatomaceous Earth, Gaia Rock Dust, Acti-Sol Seaweed Meal, Acti-Sol Shrimp/Crab Meal, Acti-Sol 4-3-2, Acti-Sol 4-6-8 and Bokashi. Nice little mix, water it in with a bit of magnesium and microbes dissolved into the water. The bokashi should help break everything down and make a bit of a acidic environment for all the meals and rock dust to become available. Roots looked good, not a dense as some runs but still nice. I feel the soil might be a bit hot so will expect some burnage on them hopefully its nothing to crazy. Will ph down with a mix of citric, malic and ascorbic acids. They are in a rate of something like 50-60%/40-30%/5-10%, its written down in my of my notes just can't find the pad ATM. Also more videos vs anything this week. I like em more but processing them is annoying AF. Side note, my lights timer was on 12/12 not 16/8 so it explains why they went into bloom, switch it back and will top the plants next week one they start to reverse their ways and get comfortable in the new pots. Also got ride of the chive seed start as it was looking sad, plus I got a bunch of European chive varieties in the mail yesterday and want to try them out. see if they really have any different taste and what ones I like better. Till next week.

no big changes other than lower humidity. took some more string to unruly stuff, to get it on the edges of the tent. plants seem a big hungry, stealing a bit from the leaves downstairs. could be PH issue too, I know it was running a bit acidic already. Will do some investigations/tests and try to improve this situation.

I'm back from vacation. So far, everything is fine with Lady Runtz. She looks great, and I think I'll be able to harvest her in a week and a half. 💚💚💚

Hey everyone! Here's the Week 6 update! 😀 and I had some issues! Nothing too serious but still worth mentioning! I had some kind of algae growing in my medium so I stopped watering the plants for a while (I used to feed them twice a week) and I just did it once this week to wait for the plants to use more of the water inside their pots and I think it did work! I also removed most of the soil on the top to avoid spreading anything dangerous to my plants! 😭 Besides that I started doing a more aggressive LST and I also pruned some of the bigger sugar leafs 😲 My plants were also somewhat overfed (or I was close to nutrient locking them) as some of their leafs were quite dark (you'll be able to notice the difference from the color of the new leafs vs the old ones) so for the next schedules I'll just feed them once per week or feed them once then go only with pH'd water and then go back to fertilizers to avoid damaging the plant! 💀 On another note, the smallest plant has grown quite well so next week I'll be swapping her to a new por! I think she deserves it! The 3rd plant now has a name and it's "Boomer"! 😍 I also decided to go for 4 colas instead of 8 because the size available in my tent is small and I don't want risking my plants fighting for light in such a small space! 😢 Anyway, thanks everyone for reading everything so far! Take care! 👽

She did well but the main problem was under feeding. She just wasn’t getting enough water from which she suffered tremendously as the growth through the vegetation was almost at a standstill. The plus side is that she is quite resilient.

Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! Under the ThinkGrow Model 1 LEDs, they’re thriving, leaves praying upward, soaking in that optimized spectrum. 💡 ThinkGrow Model 1 LEDs – Why They Work • PPFD of ~400 µmol/m²/s at their level, running only on Channel One • Full-spectrum lighting tailored for optimal vegetative growth • Passive cooling design, keeping temps stable while saving energy Environmental Conditions (Measured on the TrolMaster Tent-X and the AMP-3) • Temp Max: 26.6°C | Min: 16.2°C • RH Max: 77% | Min: 52% • VPD Max: 1.65 kPa | Min: 0.43 kPa • Solution pH: 5.8 • EC: 0.96 • Water Temp: 16.3°C Why These Numbers Matter: • Keeping VPD in check ensures efficient nutrient uptake • pH and EC levels fine-tuned for maximum root absorption • Water temp stable to avoid root shock and slow growth Autopot System Prep – Getting Ready for the Next Phase The week wraps up with us cleaning and preparing the Autopots for their next phase. These self-watering systems will allow the Runtz girls to access water and nutrients at their own pace, optimizing growth as we head into pre-flower soon! Hella dear growmies! 😁 Our little Hella girl is sooo pretty, sigh!!! ❤️ I spray the babies with Fast Plants Spray every 3 days, dim down the LED until they are dry again.. 💦 It gives them a lot of attention and nutrients until they have grown a sufficient root system. DAY 9 Watered for the first time 💧 DAY 11 Watered with nematodes 🐛 just 100ml of water each plant because the soil was still damp. Thanks APTUS Holland for the amazing goodie pack, I'm already having lots of fun with the product line!! 😍💚 You guys rock! __________________________________________________________________________________ HELLA JELLY SATIVA (30% INDICA 70% SATIVA) | AVG. Oh girl oh girl, these ladies are having a good time. Switched the light schedule to 12/12 on 13 nov (21 days after germination) Steady growth on all plants still. I haven't switched the LED lights to flowering mode yet because there's no sign of flowering growth yet. By doing this the plants will stay nice and compact. Last watering was on 15 nov (5 days ago). I will water again tomorrow. This is my second indoor grow ever (and my first serious attempt), and I refuse to make the same overwatering mistake again ;) I removed 2 big fan leaves on the top of every plant. My theory is that the soon to become colas will get a bit more light and reach to the canopy quicker, let's see what happens over the next week. One of the cons of using seeds for a sea-of-green is the possible difference in growth. Luckily not too much difference in height between them so far (please note I corrected their height differences last week by raising some of the plants. I noticed a glassy, weird look on some of the leaves in the far left corner of the grow tent. After contemplating I realized that my fan was aimed in their direction and the issue might be wind burn, so adjusted the direction (see first photo) I noticed slightly higher humidity, around 60%. I will keep close attention and take action to lower it if needed.
