******Week 5 Veg - Jan 6 to 12, 2020 This was a week of growth. She grew up and did very well with a couple of her side branches thickening up. She is a very healthy girl but she is not flipping. I wrestled with this weeks journal because I wanted to get it started to show her great growth but all along I was not sure if I call this week a flower week or not. In the end I waited and I am calling it a Veg week😥😥 She is not flipping......freaking wants to though by all signs.......I got a suspicion but I hope I am wrong......I don’t want to run two flower cycles! IPM spray with Lost Coast Plant Therapy.......recent thrips experience and staying with a preventative cycle💀👻 Some branches are stiffening since the introduction for silica but others are still very pliable. The main stem is still very “bendy” and perfect for LST right now. Too soft for entering flower given the silica. Why? She has handled the light intensity fine.....she has not been going to sleep early. She has handled the nutrients well given the amount being put in anticipating her switching and wanting the flower dosages. She is beautiful little girl at first glance but she has some oddities in her growth......keeping the grow interesting she is young Skywalker😎 👍 More detail: Jan 6/20 - Day 29 - 2L RO water pH 5.7. - Run-off: 1150ppm, 6.1pH in try from last. After feed 800ppm, 6.0pH - Pot light today. Wanted plain water but she is feeding Jan 7/20 - Day 30 = life was busy........nothing done today for watering. - Pot was the heaviest of the bunch......enough to wait. - She was more droopy today.......cold in the tent though....75 degrees????? Jan 8/20 - Day 31 - Feel she is hungry so fed in AM today. - AM: full feed except no CalMag - AM run-off 900ppm, 6.2pH - PM: full feed with CalMag. - PM run-off 430ppm, 6.1pH - No time tomorrow morning and pots were not heavy so decided to feed again in evening. - She is green and happy.......no bud sites though? Jan 9/20 - Day 32 - Life busy......noting done......heavy feed yesterday. Jan 10/20 - Day 33 - Water only. 1L pH to 6.0 = IPM tonight so keeping it light today. Hit her tomorrow with full feed. = She is looking AWESOME today. Up and happy and still no buds😨😕 - Spray with Plant Therapy from Lost Coast for bug prevention. Fortunately no signs of any issues.......and this will keep it that way😁👊 Jan 11/20 - Day 34 - 2L feed. Upped the base nutrients, Dual Fuel, today to 2ml/L. Wanted to break 1,000ppm and see what happens. - With Advanced Nutrients I am usually over 1100ppm at a similar stage. - Played with light intensity in the tent today by giving them all more. - Pulled 2 fan leaves today. - Limbs are growing funny. Soft and narrow and not typical symmetrical pattern of growth. Jan 12/20 - Day 35 - huge growth night....side branches bushed out and got taller!! - Supplemental focus on this feeding.......help root zone again. - Voodoo and Piranha for two weeks again at the start of flower and promote growth. Sensyzime to help clean up the roots for better uptake. - she is 13" tall and 18" wide now. - 4 large leaves removed and two smaller nodes. So it has begun... I've had to start utilizing string to hold up branches by tying them to the ceiling rods and surrounding equipment. These plants are healthier and happier than my first grow, so I wasn't quite expecting them to blow up like they did, therefore my single-layer screen was not enough to support the branches. Not to mention the net used was store-bought and kind of sucks. I prefer my double-layer from the first harvest. The Mimosa is packing on some major frost, followed closely by the Glookies. American Pie trichomes seem to appear and ripen much closer to the ending stages of flower.

So I am entering week 2 of the 12/12 flip, the ladys are showing sex so hopefully later in the week I will get actual pistils so I can start counting down flower days. Day 9 seen pistils but I had to perform a major defoliation as under the canopy was bad and I didnt want powdery mildew due to leafs sweating ect. Day 10 24 hours after defoliation, you could not tell I done a thing to them, im hoping its just a odd leaf now and then thru the rest of the flowering period. Any advice is welcome guys 🙏 I will be adding more fans for airflow. Day 12 of the flip and the girls are on there way to becoming ladys lol I think there's going to be a few nice kolas in there when done, ordered the new box fan for the floor to create more airflow to reduce the risk of pm and mold. I need to top up soil as roots are showing so under the net I go again. Wish me luck.

Chopped on day 133 - trichomes look swollen and ready - leaves faded out. Cut this according to the biodynamic moon gardening calendar and the dates did seem to align with the plant aromatics being more noticeable. Very excited to do the smoke report on this one - focusing on 60% humidity @ 60 degrees for 21 days to retain terpenes and quality.

Week 15 / 6th week in bloom :) One more week done, and even closer to harvest! Both my girls are looking great and starting to smell quite strong, I just love it!

Ha sido un grow muy divertido, me ha gustado como ha quedado finalmente, una planta bajita, con muchas colas, algo finas pero bien prensadas y con mucha resina. Ha sido una de las plantas que mejor ha consumido los nutrientes durante todas las fases de cultivo. El aroma es bestial, tonos cítricos y a hachis . Pronto actualizo con notas de humo.

Flower41, riego con EC 2.6 y pH 6.3, los cogollos están muy gruesos y densos, definitivamente este cultivo debería ser mucho más productivo que el anterior. Flower44, riego con EC 2.5 y pH 6.2, a un par de días de terminar el proceso y cosechar.

Phenological stage: the plant has entered pre-flowering. Structure / LST: adjusted the Low-Stress Training to keep the canopy open and light spread even. Leaf appearance: leaves are drooping slightly downward with a very light green tone, likely due to slight overwatering and previous pH issues. Feeding: 800 ml nutrient solution 0.4 ml/L Biobizz Grow 0.2 ml/L Biobizz Bloom (to support early pre-flower development) EC/PPM reading: ~430 Runoff observation: no runoff was produced with 800 ml, so next watering I plan to give at least 950 ml, possibly up to 1 liter, to ensure at least ~10% runoff. Environment: Temperature: min 24 °C – max 30 °C (average ~28 °C) Humidity: 60–65 % (planning to gradually reduce to 55–50 % over the coming weeks) Ventilation: installed an automatic oscillating fan to improve air circulation. Notes: despite mild chlorosis and the downward leaf posture, the plant appears stable. Main focus for the next weeks: correct pH, careful watering, and progressive humidity adjustment.

First auto grow and she’s smelling super good, like candy. Got a lot of tricombs but I’m not expecting much from this plant in regards to yield but still I bet the smokes gonna be really good :)
