There’s a few things I’d personally change if I was to grow fat Banana again. But this time round she was very resistant to high temperatures and humidity during Flower. She holds on to nitrogen so I’d definitely feed her less on the nutrients as she is a light feeder.

DAY 56 f: well here we are folks. The final week for these girls to impress and sparkle with the build up of their trichromes. The Six Shooter are the closest to the harvest time and i think i will be taking them out 1st. They have some beautiful purples and dark reds on their leaves and buds and the smell is so damn potent too. Very fuel terped so far but really potent to inhale. Both have different sizes but identical buds to represent the strain really well. I think their bag appeal will be top drawer. The Mexican airline are also close now and smell.so fruity fresh that it hits your throat with a sting. Lol not the biggest ladies for production but some beautiful looking buds on them. The Strawberry pies are another level altogether.... #1 is so fresh and vibrant looking with most of her leaf left on stil. I think she may go another week before her sweet spot is here though. She has a lot of good sized mains around the plant and they look and smell line fresh chopped pineapple so far. #2 has had her main leaf taken out for the past 5 days to encourage as much light around the numerous beautiful buds she has produces. I did supercrop her main to keep her from hitting the light and have noticed how floppy she is becoming from the weight building in the bud tips. I love how she looks now with the edible looking buds everywhere. Some of the best buds I have had the pleasure of seeing in these autos. Roll on harvest time. The soil has performed brilliantly throughout the whole grow this run and with a no-till method being used in the trays , I expect it to get better each new run. The organic/vegan soil also means any edibles are as clean as can be from home growing. The lack of harshness from using nutes is very noticable in my grows now and drying really is just about the moisture removal and natural chemicals so curing is a lot shorter. Instill get the gassy , initial conversion when using jars but it is more about the potency of the hit than the harshness of residual chemicals. While there is a slight loss in yield from soil , the smoke quality certainly makes up for it. So there we have it growmies. Two of the plants had little bit of powdery mildew so I defoliated those leafs. Also sprayed them with baking soda, liquid soap and water mixture. Hopefully we don't find any more of that. Otherwise everything seems good they are healthy and growing well.

So week 4 of flower is in the books and things are going well. Noticing a cal/mag issue in the jehovas witness but not the others. Growth has been strong and the fatality has taken over she has outgrown my five foot tent so am moving everything to a brand new 5x5 that’s 8 feet tall so I’m hoping I can spread them out some and allow light to reach the middle canopy because I have lollipopped all the lower larfy bullshit. 8th week of Flowering is over. Buds almost doubled in size except Lemon Orange. Smell is pretty heavy and frosting continues. Mimosa Evo and Runtz can not carry their buds anymore. I had to tie them up. Trichomes almost fully milky for all ladies but waiting another week to get 20% Amber. Target VPD is still set to 1,5 with 23 Celcius Target Temp. 156 days (22.2 weeks) from germination to cure. Baddazz og cheese is very resienous and sticky. She give high yeild of wax when pressed. This is my 1st cheese weed so smell is new to me, very pleasant, almost like the Fahrenheit perfume from Dior. I did smoke maybe a branch and a half while drying. As for the big budda cheese, she is almost finished with about a week or 2 again. Her buds are very big and she has lots of thricomes. The blue cheese is struggling as this one was transfered from soil to hydro.

She has shown herself! Definitely a relief since I was worried about the early use of OregonismXL. Took a little more time to break the soil than her closet-mate, but it’s also very likely I was just inconsistent with my planting depth. Worth mentioning: This plant is my summer outdoor grow, but it will do most of its veg stage indoors. The weather is dookie butt during veg season where I’m at.

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering.
