So I found this elastic SCROG wasn't doing for me ... so I just took it off . Lucky I'm working with a VERY resilient strain as it was cloned from a mother whom in which was the survivor of my 75 plant loss. So this this was burnt to a crisp without water for a little over 14 DAYS . So I wouldn't try this with anything I wasnt sure could "take the heat" . With it off the buds just kinda flopped a bit but still retained alot of resilience; the beautiful things . Now I could name about 100 things I could have done better . But if you think your "the best grower ever " that's a pretty used minded way to look at it . But am I proud of myself . Yeah :) - slow down feed to leave terp at end . Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

Flipped to flower this week. Experimenting with the short veg from seed. Fingers crossed they bounce.

Saturday, 12-02-2022 Plants not looking too bad at all. #1 Is smaller than all others but still looking ok. No visible ill effects remaining from DE treatment on all plants. Rain and cloudy conditions throughout the week have limited my feeding. Was only able to feed today since last week. Mix was runoff rainwater with 10 ml/gallon C AB Beta 3.12 and 7.5 ml/gallon Cytokin. Also foliar sprayed with same mix. Runoff water has not insignificant amount of "sand" from waterproofing membrane applied to roof last week. Need to monitor for effect. I cut back on nutrients to 10ml/gallon because the feeding charts of the nutrient I am copying has 10ml/gallon as being the appropriate heavy feeding rate for this stage of growth. Want to start incorporating humic acid to account for the reduced potassium in my nutrient mix. I noticed what appeared to be whiteflies escaping when I LST'd the two plants. Cotyledons seem to have disease. My IPM plan needs to get going next week. I need to remind myself that this Grow is a true trial for me. When growing other plants in the the past, I have sometimes been too "precious" or cautious or lazy. I have loved to death countless plants. I want to to try new techniques I have never done, feed on reasonable schedule and just live in each moment of the grow. I am binging Dog Whisperer now and one of the biggest things you can learn from that show is the benefits of just living in the moment. Forgetting the past, prepare for but don't stress about the future and just enjoy right now 😄. The plants are too underdeveloped to do the topping techniques I want to try but my urge to just do something on them led me to try LST on the two most developed plants. I was in two minds about this. The guide I am following about LST (https://www.420magazine.com/community/threads/the-quadsquad-thread-a-community-for-quadlining.464769/), recommends topping first then training. But again, the urge to just do something to the plants after a week of mentally refining 😅 my techniques was just just too strong. Now that I actually did it I don't feel too bad because I see that nodes 1 and 2 are below my first tie downs so I am interested to see how that will work out. That said, I only have three plants left to grow the "documented way" so I need to control the urge to just act for action's sake without a clear goal from that action. Sunday, 13-02-2022 LST'd plant tops straightening out quickly, less than 24hrs after first tie down.

Well what a week lol. Noticed brown spots and yellowing of leaves on lower branches, progressively got worse and higher up the plant. Repotted to a bigger 5 gallon fabric smart pot at the end of week prior to flushing plant. Added in some Dutch Treat soil. Finally got my digital pH and TDS meter. As I suspected, high ppm and low pH in the run off. Had to flush plant with 20L of 6.8 pH water over the weekend slowly. Suspected nutrient over feeding (1840ppm) causing low soil pH (5.34pH) and nutrient lockout. Got levels to 6.25pH and 814ppm. Carefully fluffed soil to help dry out faster. Reduced light to 80% to let plant recover over the next few days. Will start with just water at 6.8pH and resume feeding after at 50% depending how things look and ppm runoff readings. Overall the plant looks decent for all things considered and just got the SF-1000 grow light last week. Was just using 2 Amazon basic LEDs before from seed. Dozen or so node sites with new growth, FIM'D last week and now seeing 4 new nodes with new growth on top and FIM'd a few outer nodes on the branches that were ready. Hopefully with better monitoring of feeding and pH levels will be ready to flip to flower in a week or two. I want the plant to develop to good size before flowering. Starting with poor lighting and this week of Nutrient lock out has stunted growth speed, still good size for age, just need to correct lock out and low soil pH

Day 14 flowering: A great week for stretch among all the ladies this week. The Banana mash got a clean out and minor defoliate as they desperately needed it. They can now breath a bit better and airflow can get around the bases far better. The #1 isna nice size and looks very happy tonget in with growing unheeded. The #2, #3 and #4 are not so grown up and need Daddy to keep helping out !. #2 is not a happy girl from being overfed. She has a nitrogen claw around the bud sites and has now been given plain water to relieve the toxicity hopefully. The others have absorbed the feeds and not shown any signs but sjebseems to need less food. The #1 and #2 Purple Monkey are really focused on their bud growth now it seems while the # 3 is still stretching and sharing the energy around I have had to supercrop a few of her bigger mains to stop them touching the lights and her node distances are still widening with the stretch. 2 differently structured phenotypes are at play now and clearly different. I am very impressed with these genetics and wish I had a room full of them now..... The mimosa x exotic crosses are doing well too with the Mango X Mimosa gaining some speed now and definitely a lady. Exciting to see what she buds like now. The Exotic ? is starting to lengthen her branches finally. I have moved her to the end to encourage the gains upward. she isnt in female mode yet but is showing some signs of a reveal. The heat waves we keep getting are driving temps up to the 30° s. Thankfully running with the doors open helps as does having the exhale bag to offer more co2. I have a new viparspectra xs1500 to add to the room now too but it is a 150w and a really neat little unit so should be easily to add. plans afoot on this one.... Week 9 - Day 58 - 02/23 to 2/28 2021 All phone pictures. New lights killing it. Great Candy/Citrus smell to it / Very similar to the Dark Devil beside it in profile/build structure. Gave all the plants mostly water feeds this week in order to avoid salt build up. Some staining on the bottom of the fabric pots from the bottom feeds so just making sure the soil is fine for the final major nute feeds before flushing in a week or so. Made some caps with homemade thc olive oil from a friend that sent me some "Intergalactic Cable" viewing materials as well 😎 Have to use them fast but been stable for a week and not just starting to come through the gel caps, will have to get something harder next time still a lot left in the bottle. Still clear signs of the Tobacco Mosaic/Genetic issue in the leaves but clearly not affecting anything else, might tip the top of the bud when i start the flush to have it back build on itself and see how dense I can make it once it's dried. Other than that, the new @MarsHydroLED TSL 2000 and @ViparSpectraLED PS1500 for veg definitely made a huge difference and the buds on the Dark Devil. Slight over nuting prob. Leaf distortion. Dropped dosage and hope for best. No issue with colour. Growth is steady: she is a short stocky plant so far in comparison. Stem thick.

This grow is going to be testing my coco based auto watering setup. The plants will eventually be going into 2.5 gallon airpots which I cut to be very tall and narrow which I hope will give great performance for this grow style. Nutrient solution will be pumped from a 5 gallon bucket to halo-style drip emitters 4 times a day for 5-10 second intervals. I am going to try to use inline flow control knobs to dial in the watering and allow for slight runoff every fertigation. For lighting I am using my HLG 100 watt lights, one per plant. I am a big fan of these quantum boards, they have given great performance I. The past! Thanks for reading! 🌱👍 May 13 day 1: the Blackberry breached after germinating in a rapid rooter for 2 days. I am impressed with how quickly this seed popped! It had a stuck seed that was gently removed, and will be falling off the rest of the way shortly. May 16 day 3: Seedlings planted with their rapid rooters into coco filled seedling bags, and given first nutrients. They are remaining under humidity dome. I have also started running the drip emitters to test them and dial in the amount of runoff. It is also continuing to buffer the coco so the medium will be well prepared for my seedlings when the time comes. Day 4: the seedlings are doing well so far, so I will keep them domed for a few more inches of growth. Then I will switch to a humidifier to maintain acceptable RH.

Doing good so far no signs of deficiency or nutrient burn that I can see. Nutrient change on day 58 Had the ac go out for about day so had one day around 80-82 degrees F. Other than that being doing good so far this week

First week of flower is over. She handled the light change and nutrient change without any issues. last bit of LST was completed and last major defoliation had also been done. From now on I will only defoliate when leaves are covering other shoots. She was already smelling strong before, but it keeps on getting stronger and stronger. Definitely not a stealthy strain in the smell department.
