Tequila Sunrise - Week 9: ¡Nuggets of Hope Under the Brandenburg Sun! ¡Hola from the land of sunshine, amigos! This week's been a real turn-around for our Tequila Sunrise! Seems like Mother Nature finally got the memo and decided to crank up the heat. All that sunshine has been a welcome change, and our little señorita is definitely basking in its glory. The most exciting part? hose flower buds are starting to look downright delicious! They're getting nice and dense already, packing on trichomes like there's no tomorrow. This is where things get interesting, though. With all this sunshine comes the threat of rain and humidity, which could spell trouble for those tight nugs. We'll have to keep a close eye on things and maybe even improvise a little rain shelter if needed. But hey, that's all part of the adventure, right? Speaking of adventure, the slug war seems to be a distant memory. Those plastic chair thrones are proving to be a fortress of solitude for Tequila Sunrise! No slimy visitors have dared to breach its defenses. Victory is sweet, my friends! However, it wouldn't be a proper telenovela without a little subplot, would it? Looks like a few sneaky weeds decided to join the party in Tequila Sunrise's pot. No worries, though, they'll be evicted faster than you can say "fiesta foul." We can't have any unwanted guests stealing the spotlight from our main star! And the star of the show is definitely looking frosty, amigos! Those buds are getting a beautiful coat of trichomes, sparkling like diamonds in the sun. Day 71 09/09/24 Monday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag. Day 72 10/09/24 Tuesday Nothing, just monitoring mould. Day 73 11/09/24 Wednesday (END OF QUARANTINE) De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Now I have put them to finish underground a 600w hps under 12/12 schedule with the Divine Black opium. Luckily no more mould has spread, and all plants look happy healthy and still developing. Overall very happy I saved the crop ✌️💚 Day 74 12/09/24 Thursday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. We’re back! 💨 Finally was able to get some picks and do an update on these girls. Pushed them 11 weeks into flowering and we cut them down. Took 4 days for me to trim it all! She’s drying in my rack now so I will update the harvest info shortly. I pulled 1 of these already about a month ago that I was growing alongside my peyote cookies and it was some decent buds, not spectacular at first but after a few weeks cutting its coming along better. Ended up with about 11 oz off that one girl and we cut her at the 9 week flowering mark and she had about 2 weeks less veg time as well. So we pushed these 2 girls to the extreme the other way(partially because I just didn’t have the time to cut them…lol) and hopefully we will get some more intense highs from it. I kinda just let these girls do their own thing and really only bent them down over my screen once and tucked a little to fill the screen but other then that she was just blowing up all over and I had a hard time actually containing these 2 girls In my 4’x8’ tent. We also got a good heat wave again that pushed my temps way up in the 10th week of flowering and these girls grew closer to my light then I wanted or could keep from happening. Lol so we got some major foxtails in the center of my tent but we still ended up with some huge buds. Cheers 💨

Well the grow was very pleasant, she got amazing structure an look of the buds, very frosty and amazing smell...so thank you Mephisto genetics you did insane job. i have ordered few seed from Mephisto but they lost i guess(((coz i have not receive them. Week 7, one more week and i will harvest this precious girls, they dont require lot of attention and even slightly less nutrients would have done the trick! I still have 1 of these ladies in veg so i now what to expect and what to do! Great strain, very generous with very little attention, the perfect strain, a very nice sweet smell, it reminds me of candy very sweet, its going to be delicious for sure!

My second hydro grow and it seems I failed a bit here: 1. Too little defoliation and airflow 2. More light to mid and lower branches. Low light and low airflow made the buds stretch a lot and be airy, not taking much light made them white and mostly tasteless (cardboard taste). Upper branches brings the sweet taste of this strain up but effects were quite low. Even thou the high is enjoyable and taste from upper buds are tolerable. Lower and mid buds gone to trash unfortunately. I'll stop for this Summer with Hydro, but will try my 3th time in winter

I have watered her twice this week, once with 3l of rain water and once with 3,5l of rain water. I will probably up the volume a bit more next week. I upped the nutrition a bit despite the burned tips. I will not be home for the next 2 weeks so I will rely on other people to take care of my girls, the pics might be not up to standard.

Es war Zeit für die Ernte, im Urlaub hatte sich an der Pflanze im Folientunnel Schimmel an der Hauptcola gebildet und auch etwas an der Pflanze auf der Terrasse. Es hatte in dieser Woche sehr viel geregnet. die Pflanze wurde geschnitten und zum Trocknen aufgehängt.

Holky jsou ve finále, teď je ještě propláchnu a půjdou mi dělat radost :) Palice jsou o trochu tmavší než minule, voní stále silně a lepí snad i jen při pohledu, listy trochu zežloutly, řekl bych normální průběh před sklizní :)

Apple Fritter smell for days, makes you want to keep your nose in the bag. Ill need to grow this one again.

I'm hoping that the weather outside improves soon enough so that I can relocate them to outside. Last night alone had tons of rain and temperatures as low as 8c. Really want to put them out there but it's starting to look like they well be staying in this tent. I'll have to rename this diary if that's the case lol Happy growing everyone.
