During the 18 hours of daylight the first 9 is highly saturated in blue, 5000 kelvin, the 9 hours thereafter are closer to 3000 kelvin. Last 9 hours dosed 280nm. Height is too far to cause damage. UVB light is not detected by plants in the same way other wavelength/colours are. UV cannot be measured using umol as it doesn't drive photosynthesis. The plant has tiny little sensors that get set off to even little amounts, dimer salt bridges, the UV decays these salt bridges, which initiate response. You don't need large/long exposure doses for the plant to recognize UV is present. What's an enzyme? Think of it like a multiplier, you can add an enzyme to any particular biological process to vastly increase its proficiency at a particular process. Cannabis plants take blue/violet light and use it to create an enzyme called "photolayse". This allows the plant to repair UV damage done to the plant using a process called excision repair, this repairs the damage at a much much faster rate than it could by itself. Repairing 100% damage. The key is the plant needs time to build a reserve of the repair enzymes before using it. This is replicated in nature as, by midday UV levels peak, the generally cooler mornings allow lifetime to build up. The problem I encountered was dosing with 280nm lights on or 1 hour after the lights were on. Hello again, The Shamans are doing great but the Criticalkushes are still not showing any signs of preflowering, therefore they might not finish properly in mid October. After that, it is to cold to have them outside. I can try to shorten the flowering proces for the criticalkushes but that will result into small buds. On the other side I rather have small full developed buds then big fluffy undeveloped buds with less thc on it. We will see how it goes. I started to notice some trips on my criticalkushes as well, not a major problem, just a few. So I have to get some Canna Cure again, The last bottle has been empty for a few weeks, which is just my fault, little bit lazy. Will get another bottle of Canna cure asap. It had been protecting my plants for weeks and it really worked alot. Besides that it kills of insects, it also give nutrients to the leafs which they really can use since I also spotted some minor things on the leafs. Until next week!

So It's been a great week! Apologies to anyone following as I'm a couple days late updating the diary this week due to work. Anyway, bud growth is really coming on! They're starting to fatten up nicely and the smell is just fantastic. Lots of trichomes as you can see from the pics and her parentage is really starting to show with those lovely bright orange pistils. The addition of PK warrior has certainly given them a boost but I have a feeling she is going to need longer than the advertised "8 weeks" to fully mature. We will see. Have a good week. 😁👍🌴

Buenas noches familia, finalizamos el primer mes de esta farm cheese, esta variedad está colocada básicamente por gusto de mi paladar, me encanta el sabor de la cheese y a sido un capricho. Volviendo a esta genética, vemos cómo la cheese a tirado unas preflores majas y unos brazos curiosos, es de las variedades que más huele de lo que e cultivado así que ojito gente que recuerdos tengo bastantes en cuanto a el tema olor-cheese. Ph controlado en 6.0 humedad por debajo de 50% temperatura siempre por debajo de los 27 grados. The harvest of this plant was very well. I harvested it the plant the second week of October the buds were very top-heavy, with minimal, fluffy buds almost the entire plant was useful. I was very happy with the harvest of this blue gelato. also, it is a very stony plant very very strong Indica.

She's looking super healthy and and strong can't wait to see this beautiful strain in full flowering stage, I'm feeling a very good stretch,shed definitely a big girl,she's eating very well, no deficientes or nutrients burn so far. Let's see how this wonderful organic lady performs. On August 9th I start to see the change from vegetative stage to flowering stage,she looks super healthy and strong,I missed some watering a few days ago,however she is perfectly fine and happy,she's a dream to grow.

Today was the day, unfortunately about a week in advance because of an infestation of Mites that reached the buds of all 4 plants left. After reasoning, interrogating AI and watching a video, I had to harvest in advance and I decided to do a washing with H2O2 as per this video explanation of Jorge Cervantes, available at this link (https://youtu.be/S7jE7qzfgQs?si=eC6klOXkWz9eBJO3). Buenas familia, que volví y actualizamos la 6 semana de floración de las red cookies Gelato, estoy deseando empezar nuevos proyectos pero mientras están progresando muy bien esta variedad van madurando y engordando . Añadimos overdrive y PK y no sé si mirar nuevos nutrientes o seguir con estos, estoy abierto a ofertas 🤣. De los 9 ejemplares, solo uno tiene realizado un lavado de raíces, esta semana practicaré lavados a 6 ejemplares y la próxima semana lavaré los últimos 2 ejemplares que quedan que los apuraré en alimentación. Acordaros 5 ejemplares en 15 litros otros 4 en 7 litros, estoy deseando ver que hay en la báscula cuando esté todo seco .
