This diary features my Northernlights auto plants, which I've just started growing. I've never harvested before and I'm not experienced. Don't consider this diary a guide. I'm writing here to identify any mistakes I've made, my shortcomings, and to get suggestions from you, valued growers. Thank you all in advance for your valuable comments. Stay high and healthy. On 5/10, I kept my NOTHERNLIGTHS AUTO seeds in a damp napkin and planted them a few days later. I added 'Great White' mushroom to the planted area. On 9/10, I added 0.5 mL of biobızz rootjuice. On 15/10, I added 'Great White' mixed with water. On 18/10, I added 0.5 mL of bioheaven, 0.5 mL of rootjuice. On 20/10, I added only water. On 22/10, I added 0.5 mL of bioheaven, 0.5 mL of rootjuice, and 0.5 mL of activera. On 24/10, I added only water.

We chopped down the plants. Now they hang out to dry in the tent. The Trichs looked very good. Some milky, some amber, hardly any clear. Just the way I want it. The popcorn buds were rather milky. So we have more of a couchlock effect on the head buds and the maximum THC on the popcorns. I'm really looking forward to the taste💚

Day 22-28 / Week 4 This week I had to give them more space and topped them to make use of the space. The I had to reduce the dry intervals and increase the spraying time to match their needs. Captain slow got his problems with the feeding schedule, but I’m not going to let the others suffer for him. Hope he managed to catch up over the next 2-3 weeks, to move them to the flowering space and flip them all at once. Maybe he gets another week, if I need the time to fill up the scrog. Overall nothing special. Just the 2 week maintenance with filter cleaning and some of the nozzles got cleaned aswell, because they clog up from time to time. All 6 together are drinking about 1,5-2 litres per day. This week was a real breeze! She's gaining a ton of weight on the bud sites and she's really growing nicely! She's starting to bud around the flowering sites and really finishing nicely. The formation of buds is my favorite part because that's when you get to see somewhat of the final picture and the time the flower is most colorful! Now the second best part is harvesting the flower for smoking which will be occuring soon! The smell on these girls is very invigorating!! She's putting out a smell of a bakery. You can smell sweet cakes when you open up the tent! I can't believe how big she's got and how beautiful they are coming along! I have to say that this is one of my favorites to grow and my favorite smelling strain! I also love the way the flowers are stacking on the colas!!! The frost on top of the cola leaves is insane! During the day I drop the humidity down to 45-50% and then at night I raise the humidity up to 60-65% which helps a ton with flower promotion during the flowering stage! Also, I raise the temperature during the day to 80° and at night I lower the temperature to 55°-60° which helps mimic the autumn temperatures that aids a ton in flower production in the flowering stage!!! Soon I'll stop giving the two Pound Cake Auto's any synthetic nutrients because they stop taking nutrients in and start to self canabulize as a normal (ending) part of plant life. Then I'll give the two ladies plain pH balanced H20 for a week to flush any and all nutrients out of them. Then three days of darkness. Finally I'll chop them down to hang in my harvesting closet for 7-14 days with a dehumidifier on at 65% humidity. Then I'll place the flower into the trimmer and then into the grove bags for the last step in harvesting! The grove bags will keep the flower at 58-62% humidity. They also help keep the flower fresh longer, the Terpenes fresh, the Terpenes flavors, and from becoming moldy or dried out! I've used both these and the mason jars with boveda humidity packs but to me the grove bags are a must!!! Thanks and as always stay safe, stay high, and stay blessed!

Plants had a bit of a ph issue with all the renovations on the veg set up the ph stick ran out of battery and couldn't keep the ph in check. now that is sorted though and we are running fine again. The plants are in the flowering room as the last set of plants have been harvested already. Veg room is almost built so the diaries will be up to date weekly and not this on and off posts, sorry about all that. Day 10F-17F (Day 10F) Everything is looking on point. I’m going to soak in a gallon of lite compost tea diluted to 400ppms on each plant except for #5. I’m still a little worried I won’t make it through the stretch but at the same time I fear N toxicity just as much. I will give one more lite tea before the end of stretch, most likely at the end of this week. (Day 12F) Ladies responded nicely to the tea except for BBB#1. It just isn’t looking as vigorous as it was last week. It’s the only one without an air hose so I guess it couldn’t hurt to grab one. The air hose does without a doubt prevent overwatering in soil and I’m surprised I don’t see more people using it. It’s cheap, effective and gives me similar results to growing in pure coco. I’m going to give one more light foliar spray of 3ml of calmag, 3ml of kelp and 2.5ml of insect frass. (Day 14) Got the air hose hooked up to all 5 plants now. I hate that I’ve been forced to defoliate so much in early flower and it is definitely reducing bud size. Last round my bbb’s had pistil clumps twice the size at this time and they were dealing with severe deficiencies. I’m hoping it’s just genetics or the fact they are larger plants. (Day 15) I’m starting to see signs of N toxicity on the some of the new growth and overall growth on all plants except #1 has slowed. It was most likely caused by the foliar spray/tea combo. No more feeding anything for the next 12 days at least. Luckily it’s still pretty early in flower but I know that N tox can hit really hard after the stretch stops. I would be pretty upset if I vegged for 80 days only to get severe N tox in mid flower. Since it’s not breaking down in the soil, I should be fine. I’m going to defoliate some more of the large bottom fan leaves as they hold large reserves of extra nutes I don’t need. Hopefully these small defoliations aren’t stressing them at all. Next round I plan to do a big strip one week before flower, at transplant and a second big strip on day 21. (Day 17) I think I was over-worrying about the seriousness of the N tox. I’ve seen it hit very hard in mid flower and can’t be too careful. It’s almost always caused by water soluble nitrogen so I’ll try to stay away from that unless I absolutely need it. My case does not look to alarming just yet. I noticed the stunting on #3 right after that last tea so I am going to stop giving the last liter of compost tea because of how unbalanced and separated at the bottom it is. It sure helped out the other 4 plants that didn’t get the granulars from the bottom of the bucket. I‘m planning to give a bloom tea around day 26 and a final top dress a few days later. #1 has now out stretched everything else in the tent. I honestly was not expecting that. If #3 didn’t get stunted this whole week I think it would be the taller/heavier plant.

Toutes les 5 ont germées, 2 moyennes banana+ 1 grosse .(racine) 1 moyenne purple bud +1 grosse et une très petite (racine) Elles ont germées toutes en 3 jours. Puis je l'ai ai mise dans des pastilles de coco et chaque tourbe dans des petits pots en plastique, sur un plateau métallique devant ma fenêtre (je n'avais pas encore de box) du 2 mars au 7 mars.

Ok here we grow , starting the first week of flower on these 6 clones of Canuk seed strains. Looking really healthy , let’s see what the best 8 weeks brings. Happy growing everyone 🌱✌️

Did some light pruning also.

This tent is just crushing it this week! Everyone and their mother is covered in trichome-y goodness. These ladies definitely have that cookie-esk smell going on for them!

9/27 She made it through the rain! Looking great in the sunshine. I gotta bring the loupe over again. It's smelling really strong and it looks like most of the pistols have changed color. If I wasn't losing more to damage I'd leave it out longer. It will still be a couole days probably because I need to put away what's hanging and make room. This has been one crazy year. Forty degree temp swings. Crazy year and even crazier pot. Can't wait to try them all! EDIT: I've been trying like hell to update this thing. I've been working my balls off. I ALMOST took the last pink kush. I have a video i'm trying to upload on my computer because I can't even update ANYTHING on my phone. Boy this years weed came out incredible! I've been working hard but as soon as I have a second to myself and get everything at least inside i'll finish the harvest and smoke reports and give some good pics/videos. 9/28 Finally got a video uploaded. It was yesterday. The Lome pink kush is looking real good. I'm losing more and more to these insects. I want to leave this plant a little longer and have the buds come together but the trichs are cloudy now. Almost every pistol has turned a red color. I'm going to bring my loupe and check it out today. Everything has turned out fantastic. I'm looking forward to taking pictures.

Getting the chop tomorrow all resin glands are milky with a few ambers on the buds. Not had a single problem

June 20, 2022 Watered with 3 gallons RO water with no nutrients or supplements. This may be the last watering. I checked each cola for amber and cloudy trichomes. There are about 5% of thr trichomes that are amber. There are about 50% that are cloudy. She is getting close. Watering Numbers In PH 6.65 TDS 37.1 EX 52.5 Out PH 6.78 TDS 351 EX 496 June 22, 2022 Watered with 3 gallons RO water with no nutrients or supplements. She is close. Watering Numbers In PH 6.54 TDS 70.1 EX 98.8 Out PH 6.69 TDS 328 EX 463 June 24, 2022 Watered with 7 gallons RO water with no nutrients or supplements. This completes the flush, as the runoff numbers are great. She will get her 12 hours of sun today and then immediately followed by darkness for 36 hours, then hang whole.
