So I started the germination process with these beans on the 3rd of October and will count day 1 from when they first pop above soil, it’s not the best practice but I have put my seeds straight into their final pots. This is because I haven’t yet mastered transplanting & with autos you don’t want to stunt the plant with the limited time you have, so I’m just going to keep a close eye on them. Here are a few things different from my last run. - Documenting 3 strains instead of 1. - Have thrown in a Blurple that I had as my HLG 100s lack reds or blues. It says that it’s a 600w however I’m thinking it’s more like 100. It’s a great light that I’ve used before on its own. I will slowly phase in the 3 lights and start on the Blurple as the 100s can burn young plants. I’ve read that quantum boards & blurples make a great combo let’s see! - Added in another small intake fan for extra airflow. Now running 2. - Running 2 oscillating fans instead of only 1. - Put a plastic sheet sheet over my pots till green starts showing to keep in humidity. - I am going to be using Living Organics as my medium for this grow, the top bit I’ve layered with a light seedling mix to start them. - I have reduced my light cycle from 20-4 to 18-6 as recommended by FastBuds. 4 October: All seeds have popped. 5 October: Seeds moved into soil. 7 October DAY 1: All the seeds have popped and are above ground showing green. Tent is very pink as I’m using only the Blurple to get them started- I will soon slowly phase in my quantum boards. I have removed the plastic off of the top. So far so good! 9 October DAY 3: Ladies all up and looking good. I’ve activated the first HLG sooner than I thought I would to avoid them stretching too much. Pictures will always be in the order below (Blackberry, Gelto, then Lemon AK). Every second day I’m planing on rotating the pots positions clockwise so they all getting equal time under the hot spots.

So these first few weeks are really a pain for the impatient like me, lol 😓 So far so good, I’m doing better with the humidity levels this time. Everything was looking okay; the Blackberry Auto is going especially good, just today I noticed my 2 FastBud babies are having some strange kind of growth. Doing some digging to see what I can find.

I’m having some kind of strange growth on the 2 FastBud babies. The Blackberry Auto seems to be okay. If you look at these 4 images you’ll see the difference. Any ideas? Note they’re all in matching soil, and I’m rotating them under the lights every 2 days.

what your seeing is in the strain, it is a different phenotype of the strain. each plant you grow is a unique plant, and it is nature. so hardly ever you will find no two plants from seed are the same, hardly ever unless the breeder really spent time stabilizing the strain and this takes a few years. most breeders work with the strain, get it somewhat stable and just keep in line breeding with the strain. also you do not need to rotate your plants, all you do is have to turn the pot, last water less, unless you just watered your plants, the soil looks pretty damp. your plant looks fine though and you should not stress over it as i am sure it will grow and the end result will be fire. happy growing

So this week started off a bit rough. I don’t think I got the temp and RH great while they were small but we seemed to have turned around. Specifically the Lemon AK was really in a bad way but she seems to have come right now. I did notice after a read that they do tend to be on the weak side earlier on in their life. They’re all growing out nice and from Monday I will introduce nutes to their feed, going very light as the soil I’m using is quite packed. I have switched off the Blurple and I am only running the 2 HLGs I will introduce it again first week of flowering.

All three looking great and the Lemon AK which had the rough start looks like it’s going to overtake the other two. Must say I’m really proud of what’s going on here - this grow medium is really awesome. The tent looked almost neon green when I opened it up and the changes everyday are really cool to see.

This has been by far the best results I have ever seen. Ladies are all progressing super quickly, I attribute this to the addition of the Blurple light and the brand of soil I am using. Earlier in the week I added some training clips to the Lemon AK & Gelato to better control the structure I was waiting for the stems to harden before I took them off but they seem to be breaking them! Excited to see what this week holds.

So the BBA reached 65cm that’s the tallest I’ve ever managed to get an auto - think it has a lot to do with the light schedule, with a longer dark period they seem to have a little more time to stretch as the LEDs push down quite hard. Also been surprising how much water these plants drink, probably more than I do.

DAY 47: The Lemon AK which started as the runt has become the monster of the tent! She’s reached past 65cm, so taller than all the rest. Seems like only this week did she go through her stretch. They’re all looking healthy with only a couple more weeks on the Blackberry. Excited to see what the future holds for these 3.

So everyone is looking great. Blackberry Auto will have her last feed on Monday then will start flushing. The Gelatos starting to bulk up while the Lemon AK is finishing off her stretch. It’s been very interesting to see the different genetics develop - same same but different.

Keeping a close eye on trichomes Blackberry Auto & Gelato have about another week left. Very happy with the results here - got some monster buds and very frosty while the Lemon AK still has a while to go..
